that once the fabric was selected they had an amazing software with 3D imagery and designed my suit step by step from lapels to pockets to vents to buttons to stitching colours, linings monograms the list goes on every part of the suit could be made bespoke for me and I was able to visualise the design at the initial appointment , this made me feel confident in my choices. Fast forward 4 weeks I went in for a fitting (mind you at this fitting stage the suit for incredubly well.and was markedly better than the final suit from instichu . ). For what I thought was pretty good, John together with the master tailor started pinning things and marking with chalk and having intense debate as to how they could get the suit jacket and trousers to fit even better. (If they had said nothing i would have happily taken the suit) . Fast forward another week at the fitting I can honestly say that I have the best fitting, best looking garment I have ever owned. over six months, I've received nothing but empty promises and excuses. Their lack of accountability and failure to provide timely updates is utterly unacceptable.

The quality of their work is abysmal compared to other tailors I've patronized. I've found superior quality suits at a fraction of the price elsewhere. Germanicos' incompetence reached its peak when they failed to deliver my wedding suit on time, despite ample notice and constant reminders.

In light of my experience, I strongly advise against entrusting Germanicos Tailoring with any important clothing needs. Their consistent failure to meet expectations and disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out a more reputable tailor elsewhere.

Six weeks out from the wedding after hearing no updates whatsoever my husband rang and booked in his next fitting. There was zero proactivity on Michael's part.

When he arrived for this fitting his jacket wasn't ready to try. This should have been a huge red flag.

We again had zero communication from anyone at Germanicos. The week of the wedding we contacted them every day to no avail.

Finally, the Thursday afternoon before the Saturday wedding Michael returned one of our calls and told us there had been a mix up and the suit jacket was in the wrong material. It was meant to be dark green with a leaf pattern and the image he sent was of an olive green suit which as you can imagine caused a lot of concern and unnecessary stress.

So less than 48 hours before the wedding we race into the city to inspect the suit he's expecting us to take. It turns out to be closer to the right colour but no print and not as nice material. The lining was also completely wrong and to top it off my husband's initials on his shirt cuff were wrong.

We were talked into taking the suit because "we wouldn't find anything else in time" at a time when emotions are already running high. There were many "mea culpas" and "We want to make this rights" from Michael. Apparently this mistake had to be missed on three separate occasions during the production process. He offered another jacket at a later date or a refund but encouraged us to go away and think about it since we were leaving the country for our honeymoon. He told us to get in touch when we got back and reassured us it will look fine in the photos and give the look we were after.

Before we left we arranged for some final tweaks to the wrong jacket, another reminder about the initials and arranged for them to be picked up by our best man at 10am the next day.

The next day the best man and another groomsman came to collect the suit and their shirts which Germanicos were also making, and it wasn't ready. There was no call to us to let us know. They were happy to have the best man be their messenger boy. My husband's suit was ubered to us less than 24 hours before the wedding with the promised tweaks not visible and his initials still wrong.

The day went ahead and we went on our honeymoon. Conveniently, our photographer returned our photos the day we arrived home. Her work was incredible and she did a sensational job of trying to get the look we wanted so we were hoping to give Germanicos the benefit of the doubt but our groomsmen looked better in $500 Peter Jackson suits (compared to the the $3000 Germanicos suit) in every. single. shot.

We asked for a full refund due to all the significant errors and stress caused. This request was not properly responded to for nearly a week. Michael then claimed to be "aiming for a win-win". Saying the error wasn't necessarily theirs and that "to request a full refund was unreasonable". He also tried to claim that they are a "small business ". They are a chain tailor with multiple locations and the lack of professionalism was ghastly.

In the end, because it wasnt worth the stress of dealing with slimy salesmen we took a partial refund (which took another two weeks, a phone call and a message to materialise) and are out of pocket over $1000 for the wrong suit that looks crap in all our photos.

Congratulations Germanicos for being literally the only vendor that didn't provide absolutely incredible service on our wedding day.

On the 5/7/21 i had heard nothing from Germanicos regarding me suit this is 8-9 weeks after i had got measured up, i was informed that the personal i was dealing with was finishing up and someone else was taking over my order. He contacted me that day and apologised informing me that some of the material ordered for my suit was water damaged on arrival so there was a delay and he was unaware i was not aware i had not been told about this. I was then told he is planning on coming to Perth in the next 10days and would contact me once he arrives to plan a appointment.

I waited until the 25/7/21 and had not received any calls or emails with a update of what was going on so i emailed them again. I was told that due to the lockdown in Melbourne they were unable to fly over and they would contact me on the 28/7/21 once they were out of lockdown.

This continued on untill they finally sent over the suit to a trusted tailor here in perth by this time it was now 6/8/21, 13 weeks since my initial measure up in which i was told 6 weeks from start to finish. Once it arrived there was obvious adjustments needed which is normal from what i have heard. However it required multiple adjustments and i did not revieve my suit until the 23/8/21 only 2 days before a wedding in which i got the suit made for. OVER 16 WEEKS after my original measuring, this is 10weeks more then what i was told how long it would take them to finish it. I understand covid causes issues but 10 weeks? I wasn't even offered any kind of discount or apology at the end. Realistically i could have just got one off the rack and and a local tailor got it to fit just as good for a lot less money and a lot less hassle.

Made to fit you – Was looking for a classic navy pin stipe suit and some business shirts. Germanicos has heaps of fabric choice and they are custom / bespoke tailors. The finished suits did not meet our expectations nor measure up to the qualities and values promoted on the Germanicos website which claimed, that their tailor made suit will have an impeccable fit because they will spend a whole day working on your patterns for your tailor made suit and if the drawings are clear and precise it all fits perfectly......We view this emphasis on pattern making our key differentiator with our competitors in tailor made suits, because we achieve the highest quality fit that any client of ours could dream of.

Best Tailors in Perth – Purchased a business suit from Germanicos Tailors in Perth. Good variety of fabrics and they do it like traditional tailors. Choose your fabric, body measurements, design your suit and then couple of fittings / trials to make sure the fit is perfect. What a Joke! – In Perth, the places that you can get a quality bespoke suit made are few and far between. Germanicos promises good service and great quality, but when you find yourself sitting on a red couch, in a random small apartment, being lied to and treated like an absolute idiot by the worst used car salesman of suits... You start questioning the decisions that got you there. Why would anyone be so stupid as to fall for this crap?

I understand that the suit is made by hand and takes about 80 hrs to construct, as such the 5 week wait was well worth it.
