Many of the mattresses advertised for 2K and more, misleading punters with out full disclosure in their specifications, fail miserably when measured alongside the Giselle Alanya King, fit for a King, like driving a Rolls Royce on a Holden budget.

Just got. absolute rubbish. Foam memory top is lie. Barely any there. Springs go right to top. Do not buy this rubbish. Wish I seen before. Pictures show all these layers. Is lie. a plank on wood it heats up, the mattress literally gets hot. My friends first words when l asked how they are sleeping mentioned it heating up. Obviously they didn't really want to say anything being a gift. Massive disappointment.

Where’s the sand coming from ? Far from perfect – Far from perfect , had a replacement after a 8 month short period, the new one lasted half the time as the first . Total delamentation both sides of the mattress .Contact with seller was told the warranty had lapsed only being one year . The ACCC apparently have them on there radar . Back pain ahead – Purchased this mattress in king size - got medium firm. Was great for 3 months and then lost structure, bounce back and became soft and lax. Get what you pay for – Bought the Donegal queen. The mattress lacks structure, and won't bounce back to life once you get off it. It a 6/10 medium but way too soft for me. Gave me back pain. Be prepared for back pain – The mattress is of good quality and value for money however I wake everyday with a sore back now. I’m a side sleeper but feel my spine is not aligning due to the mattress. totally unsuited to it's stated purpose of use. Don't buy this product, you'll be wasting your money. Edit: The vendors have added insult to financial injury by sending me a satisfaction survey after refusing a refund for a rubbish product. Some people .. :-( .. !! Final edit: These people responded to this review by asking me to resubmit my claim for compensation and then denied it! Further insult to financial injury and VERY unprofessional. My advice would be to avoid Giselle Beedding altogether!

Way too soft – Two days after we put this topper on, both my wife and myself started with back and hip pains, and it got worse with days going by. Our bodies sunk in the mattress, had lots trouble getting up every morning. We took out the topper after 1.5 months, and the pain got better since, but we are still recovering after 6 months! Definitely not for me – Whilst the mattress looks premium and feels great initially. I found I was waking up with an increasingly sore back. As the weeks went by, I found my back upon waking up to be so sore that I was attending a chiropractor for fortnightly massages and consultations. So disappointed – After buying 2 mattress and a week in I’m so disappointed. The queen gel top is horrible, to soft , to hot and sinks where your body is. I have to literally heave myself to the centre of the bed and have developed a sore lower back. The double I bought for my son is worse. 4) It’s not a full queen size. Even when no one has laid on it all day - it doesn’t fit to the edge of the real mattress.

5) Because of how it makes you sleep it hurts my back.

I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I will never by this brand again.

Very dissapointed – We ordered online, delivery was fast, but when it arrived, it was a single, and we definitely ordered a king single. Giselle were not at all helpful, said it wasn't their fault..We then would have to pay shipping for return, plus a large restocking fee. So dissapointed, and never again. Thanks for nothing Giselle.

Perfect for spare room – I have this in Kong Single for both my kids. Perfect. Cheap, can buy a new one every 1-5 years if needed. Also have it in Double in spare room. sides, u can feel the pocket springs under the memory foam layer, and it gives u a sore lower back. But overall for a cheap $250-$500 mattress, you can't go wrong. Perfect for kids, and a spare room
