to paper, the entire family and the team has been incredible. From finalizing our DA and getting the right advise, to helping us making the right choices and modifications and then finally the legendary team on the ground, taking over the build and finishing it on time.
It was been an amazing experience. The entire team is fantastic to deal with and there is culture of "customer first" and continued zeal to provide options. They never give up or tell you that it is not possible and will go an extra mile to make things happen. What i most loved about the journey was the sheer transparency on everything and clear communication. If i had the luxury would surely build with them again!
We have built our dream home with them and along the way would like to believe made some good mates as well :-)

to my budget. Nothing was too hard for the team and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The hand over was almost on time but everything was completed to a high standards with only a few items for call back. I highly recommend this team.

us to have an immense input into the final result fixtures and fittings. We know that many of the items and products we wanted to use were not standard but this was never an issue and the result is incredible.
As the build progressed Wayne and Luke facilitated all of our requests from changing layouts, the feel an flow of the house. The team at GJ made us feel involved and secure throughout the whole process.
I could not recommend these guys highly enough. They are can do people and the result was truly incredible.

and they were so helpful modifying the design we liked to take into account our specific requirements. Once our insurance money came through they worked quickly to finalise the contract and then to help us finalise all our fittings and fixtures, making this easy despite having to mostly do it remotely as we were in Sydney. The build started quickly and progressed swiftly, despite the challenges of flooding rains early on and the ongoing pandemic, lockdowns and supply problems that were facing the building industry. Despite all this the team worked so hard to overcome all obstacles and hand our house over ahead of the original scheduled date. The finished house is amazing and we are so happy with the final result. We have had so many comments about how beautiful it is. Quality home – Extremely happy with the way the building project was managed, particular as we were not living locally at the time. We wandered into GJ Gardner’s at Batemans Bay, and this was the start of what has been a great working relationship with the entire team. The girls in the sales office were particularly helpful during the concept planning stage, and once the construction plans were finalised and council approved, we could not wait to see our plans come to fruition.
Whilst there were some minor issues along the way, nothing was ever too much trouble for Wayne who initially supervised our build. All the tradespeople were extremely helpful during our various walk throughs, and without a doubt have done an excellent job.
We moved in 5 weeks ago and are both still pinching ourselves that we have such a beautiful new home that has more than exceeded our expectations.
To the entire team at GJS at the Bay, thank you for not only delivering as scheduled, but for always being helpful and friendly no matter how big or small the issue.
Except for some minor touching up that needs to be attended to following our 3 month’s occupancy, everything else is just excellent.
Building a new home is meant to be quite stressful, but we found it quite the opposite. details, their professionalism and willingness to spend time, both face to face and phone convinced us to select them to build our home. It was a decision we have never regretted. The build progressed to schedule, and we received the keys within 10 days of the scheduled date despite many days lost through inclement weather.
Apart from a few paint issues (which were quickly rectified) the house was all had hoped it would be.
During construction we received weekly progress reports complete with photographs.
Access to the site whilst understandably restricted was arranged with reasonable frequency. The quality of finish was first class and it was a pleasure to meet with tradies on scheduled visits, especially the tiling which has been constantly mentioned by friends visiting.
The few minor issues which have showed post occupation have been promptly dealt with by Dave and his team, most post occupancy problems have been faults in equipment supplied and not workmanship issues.
In summary we would have no hesitation in recommending GJ Gardner Batemans Bay to anybody wanting a quality home.
