Great communication!

My correspondent has been able to answer every question I’ve had and has guided me well on my trip. The only thing that I found a bit misleading as I choose a minimum 2 year duration, the “unlimited job offers” are every 6 months as per commitment. I only had one company offer me work and it doesn’t even count for my 88 days. I thought I would have options. I wish that specific work was prioritized first to stay my intended 2 years. It would be nice to include on the website this information and know this prior to entering a new country. Either than that everyone I’ve spoken to at this company has been great! Show details

Helped a lot, organised a lot for us!

The build-up beforehand was handled extremely well by Chelsea and the other Global employees. Moving to the UK and working has been extremely fun and worth the wait! Show details

Scam - do not trust these people

This company is operating with no ethics. They charged me a $700 deposit fee to “hold my place” in the visa line (this doesn’t exist btw) and made it seem like I had to pay ASAP. Then to book my flights to Canada they quoted me a ridiculous price (something like 4K for a one way flight and organising a job)… one way flights are about $1000! They don’t tell you the price beforehand and You can’t get the deposit back if you decide you don’t want to pay the exorbitant fees. Thieves and liars Show details

SCAM, MONEY STEALER

SCAM
I would rate it zero stars if I could. I payed 2.5k for a trip that I never planned and went on. NOTHING was booked on their behalf, I hardly even spoke to any employers about anything. I cancelled my trip and they took 50% of my payment and offered the other half. 50% of my money they kept... for what? NOTHING.

SCAM, HORRIBLE POLICIES, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, PLAN YOUR OWN TRIP.

Save your money, they aren't proactive or competitive in pricing/offerings

Global aren't worth the money they charge. My daughter did summer camp program with them.
-they barely return calls/emails
-forgot crucial information which caused visa confusion
-couldn't answer some of the complicated questions
-quotes for travel insurance were more than double what we found ourselves
- took 3 weeks to try to get a quote for flights, with time running out we just booked ourselves
-not proactive at all

These guys seemed under trained and it's a just a profit centre where they also capitalise with stinging more for extra's such as insurance, flights.

You can google and speak to others and organise yourself. You don't need to pay the expensive program cost.

FYI- the actual summercamp experience was fabulous Show details

Refunds

They don’t do refunds or try to even be understanding. Their emails are not personable at all and I guarantee that their templates that they use.

I had my trip on hold due to covid but I am cancelling it now cuz of studying and health problems. but no sympathy in anyway. They’re taking $2k from me which is a lot for middle class people these days.

All i asked was at least some understanding but I get given a copy and pasted email that they send to every second customer that asks for a refund. Show details

Money Hungry Company

Honestly I would rate less than 1 star if possible. Paid all our money to go on our trip to Canada, our trip kept being pushed back which didn’t work out with our lives and stuff we had going back at home in Aus so sadly we had to cancel our trip because of this reason. We were then only able to get about 40% of our money back. Including our insurance which we were never given terms and conditions to until AFTER we had paid the money. Everything about this company is so backwards so they end up making money in the end while the customers get screwed! Total waste of money and time. Show details

Questions & Answers

My daughter booked with you prior to covid and is now in New Zealand Oct 2022. She's had a terrible experience with GW&T so far. Firstly you did not give her the address of the hostel which caused delays at customs, and she had to sort it by calling a canadian number. Then at her hostel people were fighting outside, and she was not aware of a code to get in. This is at 2am after a long journey from UK. She was scared and frightened, ended up going in with another person who arrived luckily, but the hostel was so dirty, she is now in a hotel, and still not getting any help from GW&T. Why all theses problems? why aren't you helping her? She is 20 years old and on her own, and paying for accommodation. What was the £900 she paid you for?
