Go Lights

Company has closed its factory. Did get a refund and purchased through PayPal – Purchased off them a few times over the years, but found out it has been sold and new owners crashed the business. I purchased $3k light order, no confirmation email or anything, got worried after a week. Office closed, phones unanswered.

Completely ripped off -KEEP CLEAR – I had used this firm previously with good results over the past few years. However I ordered goods at end of 2019, they didn't arrive, emailed, telephoned - no response. They then rang up $2300+ against my credit card for lighting goods that I did not order, nor received of course! No longer trust this company, my bank has recovered the original order money but I am still waiting for the fraudulent $2300.

SCAM ONLINE STORE !! – I paid for a dome light 6 months ago, and it still hasn't arrived, after contacting the company haven't heard a thing back. I think this company is a scam run out of China. With all due respect to Chinese people, I will never shop here again, do yourself a favor, and hit the back button.

Golight – Oders two weeks ago. It Two weeks to arrive . Very happy with the order. It's exactly what I ordered. A satisfied customer. It's a pleasure doing business with this company.

Great! – Nice and easy process of ordering quality lighting products online. Great pricing as so many of their brands are much dearer elsewhere, plus I received my order super quick.

Outstanding – Thrilled with the quality and efficiency of my order. Was after a particular item that was difficult to find elsewhere but the whole process was so easy with Go Lights. Once again a happy customer that will be returning!

Disaster – I received a faulty light. I sent photos and was advised to return product. Money was never refunded. Emails and phone calls were not answered. Please do not buy from this company

This company appears to be no longer functioning - do not use – I stupidly ordered from Go lights without checking first on Product Review. My Go light order was paid and then stuck on 'awaiting dispatch'. I tried several different ways on contacting them but all I got was a robo-email suggesting that the order was delayed and would be sent out shortly... which did not happen. Fortunately I had paid with paypal who have now refunded my money.

Do not order from Go Lights – Broke my golden rule and didn't read reviews on Go Lights before ordering and got robbed. As with others, goods didn't arrive and neither did refund! For me a valuable lesson learnt.

Yep. I was scammed too. One star = no star. No service. No item – Like every other poor sucker I was only after a light. Paid. Got email with an excuse about lost or delayed billing and orders. Called many times. No answer. 110 bucks down the toilet

SCAM SCAM SCAM – Scam beware. Once payment has been taken they stop responding. They happily reply to emails if youre just enquiring on a product so that they can lure you in. Once payment has been made its impossible to contact them

Don't Do It – Ordered online & paid via Paypal. Items never arrived. Emailed & Tony offered a refund that never happened. Now I get no response. Have taken it up with Paypal and will lodge with Fair Trading NSW.

Fraud. Please beware – Giving one star as I cant give none. They don't deliver/respond after you make an online order. I placed an order 4 weeks back and it still shows up as awaiting dispatch. The support center does not respond to emails.

No response – Make an order, receive email that goods will dispatch in six business days and you will receive tracking number. That is the last correspondence, no response to emails and no answering their phone. Whoever controls this company is complete scum. I am now seeking refund of $352.40 from my credit card provider.

I have reported them to consumer affairs Victoria and recommend you do the same. I also used PayPal and they are refusing a refund as well so do not use PayPal.

Hopeless – Same deal as everyone here. Purchased a light and yet to receive it after two weeks and unable to get a reply to e-mails or messages left on phone. I see on their site that the product I purchased is now out of stock.

no goods delivered, no refunds, no response – ordered over $500 worth of goods, they were never delivered, there has been no response to many requests for a refund, no response to phone calls - ripped off. I used them four years ago with no problems, but now it seems I have lost my money. wish I had reread reviews. Will try paypal for a refund. This company should be taken down.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS – I didnt check the reviews until well after they dicked me around about sending the product and how it was "delayed in shipping" its now been exactly a month later and they've refused to reply to any emails so I have to go back to visa and get a refund this way

Do Not Waste Your Time – Bought a very small product that was meant to be shipped within 12 working days. Over a month later I had to raise a PayPal dispute. Seller did not reply to my emails. Don't waste your time.

Thieving Scum – Thieves and parasites. Buyer beware. This company has gone through bankruptcy and resurrected itself somehow. Shoddy goods sold cheap with a good chance you’ll never receive what you’ve paid for. Hopefully their scam will catch up with them soon

WARNING – I have used Golights for past 8 years and they been good, the past 12 months have not been so good and our last order back in July is no where to be seen, they don't answer my phone calls or emails, I have contacted my bank to reverse the charges. I think they are going to go out of business but before they do they will be taking everyones money as well.

Scamming Fraudsters – Order goods a have never had any response or goods supplied. I also have submitted a complaint to ACCC, ASIC and Fair Trading. Appears there is no power in any of these agencies to shut down illegality. on Mon 19 Aug and was advised they expected them Wed and I was guaranteed delivery Thur 22 Aug or Fri 23 Aug at the latest. No delivery tracking information was received and nothing arrived. 7. Phoned on Fri 23 Aug but got recorded message stating person is on the phone so leave a message. Did this but no reply was received. 8. Phoned on Mon 26 Aug but got recorded message stating I'd called out of hours which I didn't. I immediately performed an online search for "golights reviews" and came across this extensive list of golight customers complaining about the failure to deliver items, refund payments or return enquiries.

Fortunately I paid through a credit card so a charge back for undelivered items has been submitted.

have decided to cancel the order altogether, to tell me that they actually sent it.. by then I was over it, but gave them another chance..just to be let down again as the pendant came made of plastic, not timber as it should have been. Have been chasing them numerous times again, the phone lines are not picked up, voicemails never answered...occasionally I get through, it all looks promising, yet nothing comes of it. They even refunded the money via PayPal (at last), but conveniently it has been cancelled, so I have not received anything again! After 9 months I have reached a my point and am going to have to take it further now!

contact at all and it is now 23/8/2019. I have now started a PAYPAL review and investigation but I believe I will not receive my purchases and I have lost my money. Very Bad, My Recommendation is DO NOT USE THEM - My opinion is that they must be a Scam.

their listed phone number (it just goes to voicemail). They don't reply to email and when I finally got possession of my order one of the items was damaged and appeared to have been possibly shipped in that condition. Needless to say their "damage report process" goes unanswered. This and the experiences of others here have all the characteristics of a company that is in the process of folding, while continuing to trade for what they can get.

Very disappointing – We bought approximately $600 worth of lighting. Globes had a 3 year guarantee and 30,000 hours + which was our main reason for purchasing this product. Since purchasing in January this year, 6 out of 8 globes have blown and the company has been non contactable. We have pretty much given up and bought our own globes. We thought this would be a money-saving purchase but it appears we were wrong!

Do not buy from this company – Goods did not arrive, and company uncontactable. Dispute raised through Paypal. Company promised to refund my payment after dispute raised via Paypal. After over 6 weeks money not in my account. Now going to Consumer Affairs.

Disgusting – Ordered and paid for lights in June. Haven’t received them and cannot contact anyone as they don’t phone or email back. They shouldn’t be able to advertise anymore . Where’s is everybody’s money going to. I think it’s disgusting that they can get away with it.

Wish I Had Checked Here First :( – Do not order from this "Company" - i really wish i had checked reviews before ordering over $1000 worth of lighting from them, i really think they have no intention of sending the products, once they got my money, they disabled my account, then ignore emails and phone calls, i have had to contact my bank and hope for a refund.

Almost 30 days since I ordered and paid and Go Lights wont return my phone calls or emails! – Ordered on July 11, 2019. Confirmation email said 6 business days for shipping. Multiple phone calls (they do not answer their phone) and 3 emails later requesting a refund, no response. Go Lights do not respond. Do NOT order from this company. Contacting ACCC for investigation and my bank for a dispute.

Most useless business i have dealt with – Paid for item, they took my money and it looks like the order wasnt even processed. chased them up, then they sent the wrong light. now they dont answer the phone. Beware

Item never arrived and no customer service – I ordered a light fixture and it never arrived. I have emailed them twice and tried to call several times. No one has gotten back to me but they took my money. I am in the process of putting in a dispute with the credit card company.
