Godfreys under warranty, but no surprises at all, they tell me there is nothing wrong with the unit so they wont be replacing it or refunding it. No wonder so many people were unhappy with them and they went out of business. I will never use them again or recommend them, all buyers should be aware, you are not getting your guarantee as they promote, you are buying nothing more than a piece of junk

get a clean done. For 2 weeks they didn't touch it and now they are saying floods have effected them. Gold Coast only started flooding towards the end of last week.
I've called 3 times over the last 2 weeks.l, finally got a response today. They don't know when it will be done.
What they don't tell you is they send it away to a service dept. Doesn't get done instore. I have told them to cancel the service and get the machine back. Nearly 4 weeks for a service and nothing.
So all up, the products are great. Just don't buy the extra servicing they offer. I will be demanding a refund for that. Waste of money.

Upset – Very bad service. We paid 671.95 for a smart coedless vacuum TINECO 18 June 22. Only the first used we had a problem with the battery we brought it back on 25 June 22 we couldn't get any upgrades or refund. there were continuing with the brand which is exclusive to them. I ordered it in early January, finally got notification it was being dispatched in LATE MARCH!! The Courier company said they attempted delivery (but they didnt as I was home all day) so the product was sent back to Godfreys who promised they would re - mail it back to me. 2 weeks passed and nothing so I contacted them via their website. The next day I got a refund email and when I went onto their website to order another battery they are SOLD OUT. No explanation from them at all. You cant talk to anyone, they stipulate they have stock but it takes 2.5 months to get your stock and their service levels are pathetic. Do yourself a big favour and DONT but from these guys.
Fantastic service! – Visited my local store (a few weeks ago) just before closing as my Hoover vacuum was not suctioning properly. After checking for a blockage and cleaning the filters, I tried to vacuum again for a few minutes but the unit automatically switched off because the motor had overheated. It wouldn’t, so he then removed all the filters. He made me aware of the importance of replacing the filters (even if cleaned regularly). After the new set of filters were fitted, I was advised not to use the vacuum for around 24 hours as the motor had overheated and could have ‘burnt out’. I was told that if the vacuum would still not work, I was to bring it back and they would refund the purchase price of the filters and credit it towards another purchase. Happily, the next day the vacuum worked perfectly. Just like new. Both sales guys could not have been more helpful and one of them even offered to carry the vacuum to my car for me. I really should have taken note of their names. Over the years I’ve always purchased my vacuums from Godfrey’s and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks once again for the fantastic service!

at Godfrey’s Hoppers Crossing store. Jack was our sales assistant and we found him to be; very informative, and eager to help. His advice was well balanced, and he did not favor one product over the other, which enhance our experience.
The store’ ‘testing area’ was great and allowed us to handle all tested products side-by-side. For the type of purchase we made, it was great better because unlike online-store purchasing, you can see the product performance for itself and make your own decision. We also loved being able to make the mess and clean it up by using the products!
I highly recommend a trip to the Hoppers Crossing store where you will be met with a nice clean environment, a variety of products, and friendly staff. The overall experience was very positive, especially with Jack’s help.
Unfortunately as the S7 was a newly released product, no discount was allowed. However the staff did offer a service package and 20% of a second bottle of cleaning solution.
Even though price of the Tineco S7 ($1299) is at the top of the range as far as hard floor cleaner go, because we have quality hardwood floor we felt the price was justified as it matched the performance of the product.

We looked everywhere for the bags, but no luck. I only hope the salesperson (who was the owner of the business) is a bit more forthcoming to his next customer by suggesting a unit where replacement bags are available elsewhere.

No service – My vacuum tineco pure one x stopped working and no place to service or replace. I have visited the branch and called two branches and no help. The coustemer service number isn't working.

for the same value item or a Refund , I understand the company is in administration. At the end of day consumers have rights, the Godfrey’s I went too is still trading,
but to go in store just to be shut down and told not our problem, its really disgusting and really disappointing. It was expensive to me may not be much to some people and for a useless thing in a box now, never would recommend buying anything from them.
Spares disaster – After sales spares availability is a joke- Godfreys just expect you to throw an expensive Hoover cordless stick vac away because the minute they stop selling it they also stop having spares available- even consumerable spares like a new battery. They pay no attention to their obligations under consumer law to hold spares and offer no solution. They really dont care- they just want your money again and again.
