I purchased an i-Vac stick vaccum cleaner from your Highpoint store,on the12/5/21 the service I received from salesman... who 's name is Hans, was amazing,he was very helpful and friendly..demonstrating several other models of vaccs for me, I love my vaccum cleaner,and highly recommend Hans and Godfreys for their great service.

Sam from Godfreys - Erina. Exceptional customer service. I was buying a new vacuum and looking at a carpet cleaner. Sam listened to what I wanted and thoroughly went over both vacuums showing me how they worked and how to clean them. His knowledge of products and customer service was amazing to the point I did not need the operation manual because everything he showed me was so spot on. Finding service like this is rare these days, so thank you Sam. One very happy and satisfied customer who will be back should I ever even need advice and recommending your service to family and friends.

I visited the Godfreys Maroochydoore store yesterday looking to purchase a new suckalator and was served by Veronica.
I would like to pass onto the store manager that her customer service, product knowledge and general attitude towards me was absolutely fantastic.
I am sure that you mostly hear complaints from customers but if all staff were as good as Veronica we would have absolutely nothing to complain about.

PLEASE PASS THIS ONTO THE STATE MANAGER. Shane O. provided me with above excellent customer service today. He told me what I needed to get my vacuum working efficiently again and was honest about a trade in. What really impressed me was his level of knowledge for someone who had only been working in the store for about 6 weeks. His eyes lit up when I told him how hard it is for the elderly to manouvre old vacuum cleaners and I told him what would help them, he was really so keen to learn and it was apparent. His attitude and knowledge rea...lly impressed me, so I gave him a plug on social media. I suspect strongly he will excel in this job. Wish I could give him higher than a 5 for customer service. P.S. If you want him to give you a trade in you must take your vacuum in for him to see.

Utopian Customer Service
After having a Bad experience with Dyson Australia by making a direct online purchase for their cordless Dyson Stick which caused me nothing but grief, with only a 5 minute max speed usage before the battery goes flat and then 3.5 hours on charge, was a total failure!
After receiving the refund I ventured into the Godfrey's Store at Eastgardens, greeted by a lovely young man named Faisal who explained the difference between the other vacuum cleaners. He then demonstrated the Hoover Action Vacuum and I was totally impressed, with the ...propelling head also, that was a delight, hadn't experienced that type before. Was impressed also with how Faisal was thorough by emphasising the importance of a clean filter for maximum results, it was so lovely to get good customer service which is important and hard to find these days. Even my husband is impressed with the suction and what actually Now comes out of our carpet and rugs, especially having a cat and a dog! Thanks to Faisal for making it a nice experience and by the way, love my Hoover Vac!

In store attack
Went into the Brookvale store to specifically purchase the Hoover Eco Pet. The sales woman basically entered a barrage about how they don’t sell Dyson and how terrible Dyson is. I explained we want to buy the Hoover anyway. Totally ignored us and the fact that we simply wanted to make a simple purchase. She forced us to watch some in store display of the “competitor” stick vac they sell which is apparently you guessed it” better than Dyson”. We felt harassed and intimidated. The sales woman said “oh, I can show you a vacuum cleaner” but this st...ick vac can do more. Yeah, also it is $1100. We said look, we just want the Hoover and certainly not a stick vac. Yet again, we got the anti Dyson ramble. In fact, now that she went so hard against Dyson, I’m thinking maybe I should look at buying one to be honest. One thing is for sure, every single person I know, especially my corporate network will be warned to delete Godfreys in regards to all and any interaction.
You get what you pay for
I purchased an i-Vac x10 cordless stick vacuum less than a year ago. I must of used it perhaps a dozen times and now the brush head has decided it doesn't want to spin. Pulled it apart cleaned everything put it back together and still the brush head won't spin. So now it picks up nothing off the carpet and is useless to me now.
For $99 it looks like a bargain and it'll work well but buyer beware you could end up like me and have yours die on you in under a year where it saw little if any use at all.
Bought a new stick vacuum , already broke after 9 months , was told repair will take 3 months , quick to take money and don’t care after , so angry

Customer service fail!!
I bought a Wertheim Handstick for $750 in 2019. It's still under warranty.
Today I took it back to the store as Im having problems with both of the batteries. I can only get 30-60 seconds run time out of the boost function. I have 1 rug that I use that function for and I cant get it vacuumed using 1 battery. The sales person could hear the difference as soon as he turned it on.
To have it repaired or batteries replaced, I'd have to leave it with the store who would send it away and I wouldnt get it back for 2 weeks minimum. Both he and phone c...
I am very disappointed because the vacuum a bought was terrible and I paid over $800 a little over a 9 months ago.
I tried to return the vacuum back after a week and explained that the cordless battery cannot even last just to vacuum a small car and all they did was give me an extra demo battery. I tried to explain that the suction is terrible if you do not used the boost I was told after one use to clean and vacuum the filter with what vacuum?

We LOVE the Vorwerk VK200
I will firstly start off with the Germans DEFINITELY know what they’re doing!
We bought Eve (yes we named it) aka the Vorwerk & I absolutely LOVE her! She’s a BRILLIANT piece of technology! We’ve only had her a few days but we love her!
She’s quite intelligent, the fact that she’s able to differentiate between tiles & carpet (auto mode) is amazing in itself. She has a great suction which is AWESOME when you have pets! The carpets look brand new again.
We have a Cattle x Kelpie & a Maltese plus 2 cats & it took ALOT of Cattle x Kelpie hair...to block eves head & to unblock the brush was as simple as undoing 2 clips & scissors to cut the wound up dog hair. It took longer to remove the dog hair then it did to take the head apart & put it back together again. So simple to use & clean! We love the fact that she has so many attachments to do various areas of the house, also the fact she has a mop function (head sold separately) & also to refreshen carpets (head sold separately) are definitely on the “to get list” in the near future.
I put my vacuum cleaner in for service back in January, almost 3 months later I still haven’t received it back. The store told me to ring customer service which I did, I spoke to [Name Removed] who was passively aggressive with me . He hung up on me and I am in no better place. I will never buy another vacuum cleaner from this company ever again! I purchased a $3000 vacuum cleaner 4 years ago and it requires a new part. Thanks a lot Godfreys!
Wish I'd gone to Target
The quality would have been the same for a lot less money. 2 months after buying our Hoover Ultra Power it broke completely and from the date of bringing it in it took 3 weeks to receive our repaired machine, I could handle maybe one week of grimy carpet, but three was pretty disgusting. When we went in store to pick it up we stood at the counter for 15 minutes before a salesperson came to provide us service. I thought paying more for a vacuum cleaner would mean we'd have less problems for longer, but sometimes things that are more expensive are worse. Never shopping at Godfreys again.
No communication at all - 3 months and counting
I called into the Mount Barker store in December 2020 to order a filter. They advised me that they needed to order it in but insisted I needed to pay for it at the time which I promptly did in good faith. I have called fortnightly since then as each time they advise me that it's "only days away" (once I eventually get through - which usually takes 10-15 attempts throughout the day before they answer). I have called into the store several times to be advised the same lie. I am still waiting and have not received one single proactive call from them updating me. Annoying poor communication and zero customer care - I regret paying up front and will now seek a refund.
No Name on Invoice = No Warranty ??
I purchased a new vacuum this morning from the Mackay store and was told that as I did not want to enter my personal detail on their computer the warranty would be voided - Please explain this?
A new staff member was being trained at the time (which is great) who even mentioned the you'll just use the receipt as proof of purchase. When I disagreed with the senior staff person she went quiet and processed the invoice very quickly to get me out of the store. I was not making a seen but was not going to be taken for a ride like that.
As soon as their phone lines open Monday I will be contacting the ACCC for their opinion and I'm 99% sure they will agree with me about this process being illegal.

Worst Customer Service & Lacking any ACCC Consumer Laws Knowledge
Disgraceful service from [name removed], she is rude and hung up on me for no reason. My Hoover stick vac that is still under its 2yr warranty is at their repair centre. [name removed] advised Godfreys would call me Friday to give an update/result. I phoned Friday and [name removed] kept repeating it was at the repair shop and they would ring me when a result is found. I told her I understood her but her staff advised they should/would be in touch Friday, hence the reason I called.
[name removed] refused to even acknowledge or answer this and ...kept repeating herself like a broken record. She also told me there was no way I would get a refund as per her words “ACCC Law” that she was apparently reading. Well I’m sorry [name removed] you are 100% wrong. ACCC law clearly states of the product is deemed to have a major fault then the customer chooses between a refund, replacement or repair. I was also told on Monday 25th Jan by [name removed] my stick vac was out of warranty even though it wasn’t. She advised even though the Qld store replaced the whole unit with a different and newer model my 2yr warranty did not reset! I had to phone the Qld office and get them to email Mandurah branch to advise that they are wrong and that the warranty did in fact start again as it was a completely different unit. I have phoned Godfreys Customer Service and made a formal complaint about this as I believe as a customer I’ve been not just treated in an unfair manner but let down by a company that I’ve spent well over $1000 over the years and been loyal to. You should be ashamed of your dismal customer service skills [name removed] as you lack the ability to listen to a customer and answer a very simple question. All I wanted was for you or someone to email the service team and get an approximate date as YOUR staff told me I’d get a call today!(Friday) Let’s see how this pans out, what really gets me is that by ACCC law the product must have a major fault, it’s a Godfreys repair Centre conducting the tests. I think that’s very biased as no way will they come back saying “major fault” even if it is one!! All I know is I paid $500 for a stick vacuum that barely lasts 12 months before the problems start, and that’s over 2 different models!! Learn your policies and ACCC laws Godfreys Mandurah! I’m disgusted and beyond disappointed!
