brake components. This was not present prior to the alignment.

When I raised the issue, I was initially asked to bring the car back. Due to work commitments, I returned it on Friday 23 January. I was advised someone would follow up after the public holiday, but no one contacted me. I returned again on Wednesday 28 January and was told that head office would not assist without proof they were responsible.

What I find particularly frustrating is that during the original visit, staff were quick to point out that my rear tyres were low and would need replacing, yet no mention was made of grease on the front wheel or brake components when the wheel was removed and the alignment performed.

I was not asking for a free repair… only that Goodyear cover the labour to replace the outer CV boot, while I pay for the parts. This was declined.

I understand vehicles wear over time, but the timing and nature of the failure immediately after the alignment raises reasonable questions that were not taken seriously.

Based on this experience, I would recommend others inspect their vehicle carefully after any alignment work, and be aware that post-service issues may not be supported.

I have a 40 year old unusual car that is a challenge for many workshops but I have had invariably excellent service from Goodyear in Tweed Heads. They are professional, knowledgeable and always helpful. Great place!

Took my damaged tyre for a repair…said unrepairable and needed to buy a new tyre for nearly $500. Took it to another tyre shop and they repaired it for $40. As a female I felt I was being taken advantage of 100% won’t be returning at all.

Goodyear Auto Care Doncaster - Unprofessional staff, lack of communication and lack of fee and invoice transparency at the POS end. Wouldn't know the meaning of customer service if it hit them in the head. never use this business again. Our car is supposed to have a synthetic oil, this company used a semi synthetic oil… Used cheaper products, overcharged on them…this also means more frequent oil change for us, so costs us more money….

Not good practice – I am deeply disappointed with the service I received at Goodyear Wellington. I was initially told that my car would be ready in about 40-60 minutes. special trip to retrieve my wheels from home. However, after the installation, I was informed that the appropriate rings were not available after all, and the shop decided to proceed without them, claiming that extra tightening would suffice.

Furthermore, they informed me there was a flat spot on both of the front wheels, causing noticeable shaking. Despite this, they still allowed me to drive my car home to fetch the mags. This was not only inconvenient but also unsafe. Furthermore, they never offered me the use of a loaner car, which would have been a safer and more customer-focused solution.

I urge Goodyear Wellington to address this matter promptly and ensure that no other customer has to face similar issues. I expect a resolution that involves the correct installation of my tires with the appropriate hardware, as initially promised.

KEMPSEY Above And Beyond – I cannot fault the top service I received from the guys today at Kempsey Good Year Tyres who went above and beyond to make sure I had new Tyres fitted within a few hours.

Disappointing and disheartening! – I had my car serviced at Burwood Good Year autocare. Unfortunately the car never ‘ misbehaved’ around the garage so finally I booked it in for a check up. It turned out that it needed a new thermostat and would cost me $2,434.50 (!!) When I requested a discount given that the mechanic had not picked up on the problem whilst servicing my car, he laughed and said that would not be possible. I won’t be taking my car there again!

it was snowing and got excellent grip. Also travelled on windey roads on Mt Wellington while it was raining and was very confident driving on these tyres. Did a total of 2,000kms in 10 days and would highly recommend these tyres and this Goodyear Service Centre. Thanks

Rude, aggressive and lied to me – Took my car in for a puncture repair. The Director, Corey, was aggressive and told me it couldn't be repaired and said I needed to buy a new tyre for $290. surely I am able to ask questions - he just kept repeating that he had told me it couldn't be repaired and quickly escalated to stomping out and shoving my tyre into my car...stomping back and handing my key back and telling me to go. I took the car to a rival store where I found out that everything he had said was a lie - the puncture was repairable and this was completed in 10 mins and $35 at Tyre Right in Wivenhoe. The best – Late last year I obtained new tyres from Goodyear Airport West for my Corolla hatch. I was delightfully impressed with the service, smile, great communication and price. Single damaged tyre replacement rip off proce – A set of four tyres fitted January 2022 cost $204.00 (GST included). One replaced after incident with builder's rubble on road in August for $260.00! Fantastic service - Deep and his team at Burwood deserve ultimate recognition – I have used GoodYear AutoCare at Burwood (Deep and his team) for puncture repair and new tyre supply. Highly competitive pricing experienced on each occasion. The team could not have been more helpful or professional/ knowledgeable - providing an excellent service. Non-standard size (non-off-the-shelf) tyres were ordered for delivery the following day. Fitted quickly, without fuss and professionally. Highly recommend.

found myself automatically compensating on the steering wheel waiting for it to pull left and it wasn't it was now running straight and true. Troy knows his business and there was no nonsense. Great customer service and price! – My car needed 4 new tyres fitting and the wheel alignment adjusting as there was uneven wear on the old tyres. Neil of Goodyear Autocare in Brendale was very helpful and the work was carried out at short notice while I waited. The cost was also very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Really shocking customer experience, the owner failed to call me back but they are happy to charge for what they want. Their attitude (Springwood) was appalling, they made it seem as though the it was my fault that they did not have the technical capacity to service a Golf! Ridiculous! I honestly can't believe how a mechanic does a half service and gives you back your car! They misled me, did not return my calls, and then continued to charge me. What a bunch of scam artists! so smooth! But that afternoon - with new tyres fitted - yet another puncture! Same wheel - right on the shoulder of the tyre (again a non-repairable puncture - totally unbelievable!) Went back Monday morning with my now ruined new tyre - fully expecting to have to pay for a new one (which in my mind would have been fair enough)... New tyre fitted under warranty - no charge! Talk about awesome service!

Prompt and Efficient Service – Ordered a set of five BFG off-road tyres and a wheel alignment. All the work was done far quicker than I expected and very happy with the result. Now to book in the GU Patrol for a full service which I am confident will be done by the book and to my satisfaction. Top marks to Sharon and her friendly and competent team.

Rip off / Scam Never use this company – Never use these crooks. Sent car in for a service and mentioned the brakes were feeling faulty. Received close to a $2000 bill and got given a list of items that were "Fixed" Upon receiving car back it performed the same and brakes were still unresponsive. proved this as a lie as coolant tank was completely empty. Within 2 weeks the "brand new" brakes were squeaking and very unresponsive. The car went back to the shop to be refixed at which time they mentioned a "different" hose had broken and it would cost yet another $220. After the $2000 for a complete fix less than 3 weeks prior. Absolute rip off scammers. Never use this company if you value a working car. Consumer Affairs have been notified.
