advise everyone not to do buisness – I ordered and paid for an akubra hat that was listed on their website as in stock. Suprise it was not in stock and it was not available from their supplier. Ordered and paid a month ago still waiting – Terrible service. No contact on delays. No advice of any issues when ordering. Seems to be a scam with no notice or contact and just money taken without goods.

Uncontactable – My wife purchased a Akubra hat online in March as a Birthday gift for me. The transaction was processed and she received an order confirmation. A few days later a staff member from Gooleys (Shannon) emailed us, saying our order was delayed due to the Lismore floods, and assured us that all orders would be filled. received a similar email from Nikia at Gooleys. We felt sorry for their situation so were happy to give them some extra time... However today (2 months later) we received an automated email from Gooleys, saying our order wont be filled and no refund option was offered. We tried calling them several times but their phone lines are all disconnected, and we've not recieved any responses to our emails or messages requesting a refund. Their website is still operating and taking new online orders. We have notified Akubra and lodged a claim with Paypal. I don't recommend buying from this business, seems like we've been scammed...

Took money but was not in stock. Took 4 weeks – Was really disappointed. After reading good things decided to by some RM Williams. Took my order and deducted money from my account but quickly received an email to say was out of stock. Took 4 weeks to arrive. Had very little communication from them. Wrong Size – I received the wring and size and was told that I have to post the order back again and wait for a refund. This was very inconvenient and time waste for me.

Customer assistant was very friendly and helpful. I ended up having to exchange the Akubra for the next size up but even that exchange process was straight forward. I am a happy customer with no complaints. Gooley’s Akubras were the cheapest I found online due to a Sale, AND Gooleys offered free shipping unlike all the other online stores. They had a wide range available and they stocked the greatest range of sizes. I’m surprised by their low ratings. I am happy to recommend Gooleys based on my experience with them.

Poor customer service – Do Not trust Goolies. They straight out lie and don’t return emails. I emailed them to make sure the Akubra was in stock..They replied yes was in stock, so I placed my order. After many days of delay I asked what was happening. They replied with public holiday. There was no public holiday that I could find. But he said that caused a one day delay… Read more

in postage. Accept they would not post the day before or the day after the so called holiday. No, they will post Monday of next week. Then I get an email stating the hat was NOT in stock but I could have the Akubra in a different colour. Or wait 2 to 6 weeks. At that point I asked for a refund. No reply. All emails since I get NO reply. Then that day I got postage info. Which is it? I emailed Goolies to see what is correct...Again no reply The tracking number showed up, but Australia post don’t have the hat. The tracking number has not been scanned in. It is a number Goolies have allocated to them. This is the extent Goolies go to, to not issue a refund and to cover up their lies. A week later again the hat turned up. What’s annoying is the poor customer service when there is an issue and not replying to your concerns.

Customer service were very accommodating and sent the items that were available, order arrived in about 4 working days from shipping. Just had notifications the last item is being shipped so they definitely haven't forgotten about me! Personally I was not in a super rush but was hoping to get at least one item as my partner had ripped all but one pair of work pants! Very happy with pricing and customer service has been good as they communicated straight away when a product was not available. I think timeframe for shipping is fair and had an overall good experience. Would order from them again.

Lies and frudulent - the worst customer service I have ever experienced – They take your money and do not deliver your product - stay away...! Weeks of useless emails and not telling me how to get a refund. I will now contact my credit card company and claim it as fraud. Show details
