are a haven away from the things we fear most in moving. It begins with Grace people: Without exception the people I met are among the very best I have known in business. This was not what I had expected, Beginning with a remarkable Team point-man Daniel Venables. I'll admit that at first I doubted anyone could be as genuine as he proved to be. Not to take a single thing away from the men that carried out the packing and moving,: They were every bit as outstanding, I do judge that Dan Venables standard was reflected in them: I liked every one of them, (four in all) + Dan. Readers of this review can lose the knot in their gut and fear of the ungodly ... Just think of the song !

piano (which is a vital part of my wife's music studio and life-long work) was moved down three levels of terrain into the container. It was a bit of a challenge, but the attitude of the workers was can-do, no-worries, we-got-this. When a different group (only two workers actually, for two containers) delivered it to our new home, the hostility was present from the time they arrived. Even though the piano was clearly marked on the form prior to the delivery, they tried to say they had no idea until they arrived and one of them was even rude enough to suggest "the best place for the piano was on the side of the road with a 'for sale' sign on it" - later adding that "a hundred of these things at the bottom of the ocean would be a good start". Because our new home has a downstairs studio from the main entrance, the refusal to take it down there was blunt and, I emphasise, unapologetic. After various phone calls in which their boss was equally unapologetic, but tried to smooth things over with unempathetic corporate speech, the workers left the piano at the top just inside the main entrance. Long story short, now: Following contact from another section of Grace, the piano was finally moved downstairs to its rightful place, by a different company, at Grace's expense (they had all the details from the very start, so they could not justify their attitude), THREE WEEKS LATER. The company that moved it down, we add, were professional, can-do, problem solving and respectful. But some of the disrespect we received from various contact points within Grace were quite triggering - so it's no wonder there will be people within there that say we were rude and disrespectful in the way we spoke, but that was only after we had been first presented with a hostile attitude that tried to guilt shame us for having a piano and steps - all of which they knew beforehand! P.S. We are sending a more detailed account to Grace directly, so that, hopefully, they can try to get some people to do better in the future.

Kirstie and Cory are aware, we are still yet to find some items of clothing including nightdresses, runners x 11 pairs and the connections to our adjustable beds. I don’t doubt that the efficient Grace team dropped the boxes off to us but where these items are located in the boxes are yet to be discovered…I will let Grace know when we have unpacked in a years time…. when we relocate back to Cairns if we have located these items.

Our gorgeous packers, Peta and Dan, worked their magic and brought the laughs with them. And not a single item broken at the end!

Our uplift and delivery crew, Leo, Rai and Lucas were incredible. So careful with all our belongings and everything secured and protected perfectly.

As soon as we’d finished unpacking the team went out of their way to expedite collection of all our empty boxes and paper. This meant we could really start to settle in sooner.

We couldn’t be more thankful and happy with every aspect of Grace this week. Now if only the rest of life was as easy….

They disassembled beds and necessary furniture pieces and reassembled on arrival at new residence. We have moved over twenty times in the last fifty years. This has been the best experience by far. The packing of our effects was amazing to experience and the uplift the next day was extremely efficient. Thanks to Vlad and his team we have had a hassle free move.

The removalists were careful and courteous at both ends of the move. They worked solidly and did a great job. Because I was trying to organise flights for my son who was to meet me for the unpacking, I would have liked an e.t.a. earlier than I could get from the office. That was the only annoyance.

Waste of my time – I requested a quote for a local move from Caboolture to Mount Lofty. I specified that I might need storage but wasn't sure if I needed packing. asked for a quote did it online on Teams in about 10 minutes), but I complied. It took about an hour, and the rep said she'd get my quote to me later that afternoon. I didn't hear anything by the next day so I sent an email to enquire about the quote. I got an email back saying they were too busy at that time of year to help me and couldn't even give me a quote. This was for a four bedroom house. Why couldn't they tell me up front when I enquired that they were only doing interstate moves at that time?

Ten out of ten – Grace Removals are simply awesome at what they do. They helped us move internationally and we could not be happier with their service. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently.

Polite and careful – The team at Grace polite and careful with our furniture and personal possession, I have used them before and they done an excellent job moving some personal items from Cairns to Brisbane. I would recommend them anytime.

After the first bad review posted I did receive some responses but 6 weeks further on and still no idea where my belongings are and I'm still having to chase for updates. It's now 9 mths since my items were collected.

Avoid using at all costs, they really don't care about you or your belongings.

Great reliable service – Prompt service, and continual contact in rescheduling my delivery day as my drop-off was delayed. Awesome crew, friendly & would use them again in a heartbeat!

the way, I was contacted by Grace (Brisbane or Townsville) to advise the delivery day, and then they called again on the morning of delivery to say the delivery drivers were held up on a previous job, and would be an hour late. No problem. The delivery guys were wonderful - friendly, courteous, and efficient. The experience completely exceeded any expectations from start to finish. When you are trusting someone to uplift and move your life across the country, you want to know you made the right choice. I would most definitely recommend Grace to others

Misleading and Rude Customer Service – The ‘Branch Manager’ and ‘Customer Service Coordinator’ at the Sunshine Coast branch are extremely rude and misleading. Provided a proposal to accept. On this proposal, there is a section for insurance. You enter what you want to insure your goods for and then you tick the little box that says it is 4.5% of this price. No small print, nothing.… Read more

Easy as, right? Wrong.

Then you get an invoice once you have signed this. And the insurance that you signed for of 4.5% of $10000 is not actually $450. It is $1900 now. So you query it. And nope. It’s no mistake. You get to pay 19% for insurance because you declared only $10000. So you ask and you ask and you ask (yes three times) for where it states that this 4.5% might actually differ and you get taken around in circles for four days with no one able to provide this information to you.

Then you are treated to insults about your intelligence because you can’t ‘understand’. It is hard to understand something that isn’t actually made available for clients to read. They then go so far as to insult your mum for becoming frustrated on the phone with this constant run around. Then they tell you they don’t want to talk to her anymore because they don’t like her. Are we seeing a trend for the unprofessionalism here? I would also like to just tell people I don’t want to talk to them while doing my job but you know what? You have to because it is your job. If you give people misleading information and refuse to answer questions, they are going to become frustrated. Tip: don’t mislead your clients!

Then you get passed onto the Branch Manager who rather than accepting fault for this lack of information and the way the customer service coordinator has insulted your mum and yourself by claiming you’re an idiot who can’t understand what isn’t there, you get hung up on and sent a rude email cancelling the move as requested and having the final say with ‘I reviewed the emails and there is nothing insulting’. Let’s hope no one ever insults his kids or his mother so he doesn’t have to understand how hurtful words can be.

Glad to be out of our move with GRACE and would highly recommend you also avoid.

ship, it had the worst routing it is possible to imagine - from the USA we went through multiple ports in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, before sailing past Brisbane to Sydney and Melbourne before finally making it back to Brisbane several weeks later than the original projection.

*none* of the times our designated ship was cancelled were we notified. We have had to actively pursue Grace at every point to try to get any relevant information and when we got it it was weeks after the original promised shipment dates.

OUR SHIPMENT HAS TAKEN TEN MONTHS! There is no way on God’s earth that that is a reasonable shipment period. My daughters shipment experience at the same time demonstrates that reasonable shipment times were possible.

The currently scheduled delivery date to our destination is next Monday, the same day my wife flies out at 6 am from the Gold Coast for the USA. We have already moved her departure twice to deal with delays. She can not be back in Australia for at least another 9 months.

Despite practically begging for consideration for a delivery day on the previous Friday, we got yet another brush off and told that the date was the date.

Every interaction we have had with your company over the last 10 months has been disappointing and frustrating. There has literally been no point at which we could score you highly on your engagement, your service or your customer care.

Given you ship peoples most precious possessions, Grace International appears one of the most soulless corporations I have ever had to deal with.

This is without doubt the worst service engagement I have had the misfortune to engage with in 50 years, and we are paying you a non-trivial amount of money for the privilege.
