Fantastic – I moved a few furniture items from Adelaide to Brisbane. I dealt with Kayla who was very helpful and excellent to deal with. The price quoted was very reasonable and the time taken to deliver the goods in Brisbane exceeded my expectations. Overall a fantastic service provided by the Grace team.

International Move with Grace – Great information and service from start to finish. Only had a few damaged items due to insufficient packing on our international move, but overall, much better than other companies we've used. This was our 5th international move and will use Grace again.

Excellent Service – We had a great experience with Grace Removals in Adelaide, the staff & service were excellent. We had a complex move & had to store for a few weeks before moving into our home & it was all handled wonderfully. Do not use grace!!!! Ever the worst company ever!!!!!!! I paid just under $8k for grace to take my fridge 3 seater couch, king size custom made bed frame and mattress with fridge and one box! months with zero compensation and knowing it had taken 3 months for a custom bed frame part to be fixed to my bed! I asked for compensation for the 3 months they made me sleep on the floor with back conditions getting worse day by day and no response was received and I only got a response when I said I’m taking legal action! Do not use grace ever!!!!! They overcharge, will make you sleep on the floor for 3 months before they try and fix and if even paid for insurance just in case and still 3 months!!! I had a brand new fridge not even 3 years old and have massive debts in it and the frame came covered in marks and dents that were not original there! Not to mention the damn people couldn’t even speak or understand English!!!! I repeat do not ever use grace removals!!!

time required, and good explanation of likely costs. The team of 3 removalists were very friendly, but unfortunately they conducted the process of furniture handling and removal in a manner that did not reflect even the minimum level of professionalism and care that we had expected and hoped for. There was a disorganised approach to determining the order and manner of transport of individual items, and a complete disregard for the assessor’s advice that two separate loads would be required. This resulted in a prolonged futile attempt to load the full consignment into one truck (which was predictably unsuccessful), consuming much more time than was estimated for the job (the extra time being charged to us by the hour), before reverting to the original written consignment schedule of two separate loads. This process seemed unprofessional enough, but unfortunately the handling of individual furniture items was carried out without respect for the surfaces, and this resulted in many obviously scratched and gouged surfaces on relatively new pieces of furniture that were previously unmarked (these surfaces are not hidden - such as under the base - but clearly visible and are not suitable for simple masking or repair by us). Additionally, a sturdy wheeled cabinet was dropped from a trolley during transfer, breaking off one of the castors with its base. No offer has been made to assist with repair. Our unsatisfactory removal experience has been fully documented, including photographic evidence of the damage, and submitted to the Grace head office by email in Melbourne very soon after the event (and re-delivered after a complete lack of response). It is now almost 4 months since the removal was carried out, and we have received no acknowledgement, formal apology, explanation or offer of appropriate compensation, as we would expect from a professional house removal organisation. On the basis of this experience, we would not recommend this organisation for domestic house contents removals.

EDIT 5 September 2024: We eventually got an "appropriate" response, but only after a very much delayed and harrowing customer-unfriendly communication with the Adelaide office, that we immediately forwarded to the Melbourne office. We had also "coincidentally" notified the head office that we were finally going to submit a public online review, after having given them ample opportunity to respond. The regional manager acknowledged the importance of achieving customer satisfaction, but for us this came much too late, and we would actually double down on our recommendation about Grace in Adelaide, especially in light of their own negative attitude to us as recent customers.

Don’t use this company – Grace were very professional up until the moment we signed the contract, then they couldn’t care less about us. There are so many better companies to use. This one doesn’t care at all so use someone else! I regret using them and won’t use them again.

From the very start Grace removers were fantastic. We need to move our mother with out her being present and then had the settlement moved a few days, these guys helped us out in our most stressful time and just got everything done. I am not in Australia to handle personally, but GR team has been very helpful to help me pack 176 boxes of books and successfully transport them to my destination. They are professional movers and highly recommended.

We are very happy with the service from Grace. The packers and removalists worked very hard until late at night packing up our enormous inventory for our move to Victoria. Excellent service and communication – Personal and household possessions were moved very efficiently from Adelaide to Thailand. Staff very responsive and communicated well. A seamless process that took out much of the trauma of moving to a new country.

had a stop over. The problems with this move occurred when my container arrived in Surabaya Indonesia where I was requested to pay an additional $2500 charge for demurrage, and LOLO? When I queried this charge I was told that it was identified within the contract that this was excluded from the price. When I checked the contract the wording was included within an exclusion relating to pet transport, that I did not use grace removals for, so automatically assumed it related to this part of the removal. It would appear that I have had to pay for the stop over in Singapore (demurrage) and the LOLO, which is load on load off. How can they do a removal without loading and unloading?? The worst part was I was told that if I didn't pay the container would stay in Surabaya until I did!!! when I complained to Grace, they said they would get back in touch with me within 24 hours. Still Waiting 6 months later. Very frustrated as not a lot I can do from Indonesia. terrible and deceitful removal company use at your own risk.

SA to WA – I completed Grace online enquiry and within 3 days I was contacted by phone by a Grace representative who was pleasant and professional. My interstate moving needs (a car and 20 boxes of personals) were quickly calculated and quoted. Excellent follow up communication via phone calls and emails. Professional and prompt – The team in Adelaide are very prompt and professional. We initially hired a mover that didn’t show up on the day of pickup! Luckily, google lead me to Grace and they helped me to book the next day. The guys who came were very professional and efficient. They handled our things with care. Grace Sydney team promptly delivered and were on time. Overall, Grace exceeded our expectations and hands down the best movers we have ever dealt with.

Worst removalists – I had paid for my house to be packed by Grace and sent interstate, on arrival they had not taken my bed apart (5 min job) which left it completely broken/bent/unfixable. controllers and they packed heavy items on top of breakables leaving breakables to be smashed and broken. They also left items behind meaning my shipment was split into 2. I have been left 36 weeks pregnant sleeping on a floor cause they broke my bed and the staff just wipe their hands. The move was due to DV and the staff are so rude that the guys told my ex where I was moving to when they turned up at the house. Staff ignore emails and don't wish to help. When you make a complaint it doesn't go to a manager but just someone else in the cities call centre office.

Hassle free move – We moved our belongings ( 3 bedroom house including 3 kids-worth of toys, etc) from Adelaide to Sydney in late January 2022. given the amount of stuff we moved, this was not unexpected. Delivery also on schedule and without damage to the new property. Though the cost was on the higher side of our quotes, we couldn't be happier with the move and would choose Grace again for future moves.

You pay more but don't get more – My wife and I were extremely disappointed by the experience with Grace. Our advice is to choose a cheaper removalist because you are not paying for "more" with Grace. You are paying more for the same service. with packaging. Rival companies offer $140/hour and hence we opted for the $3000 quote hoping that Grace would provide a "one stop service" as advertised on the website. On the day of moving, the movers arrived and said that they were not instructed to pack any boxes. Although the quote did not specifically state "assistance with packing", using value for money and benchmark common sense, we assumed that greater than 100% above market rate meant either (a) a better service (b) assistance with packing

The movers explained things to us but they are contracted and don't have invested interest. We had a positive experience with Grace's partner when moving overseas and this is why we opted for Grace.

We were left with incredible stress on the day of moving and had to pack the boxes at the last minute.

Disgraceful. Extreme anxiety and loss guaranteed – Destroyed almost all my furniture and insurance I took out meant nothing. AVOID Grace regardless of their empty promises about being professional. Poor Customer Service. Permanently lost items, misquoted and charged more – I chose Grace to move my 2-bedroom house interstate, as I had been recommended by several people. home, my plants had died (though they had assured me they were able to move them), and a kitchen box was missing. As I was stuck interstate (due to COVID), I didn't observe the packing process. No itinerary was made for what was in that box. I recalled one or two items missing, and reported this, and was refunded a small amount. When a few days later I recalled another missing item, I was told I couldn't make any more claims, but would have to go through another insurance claim process because I "couldn't remember what was in the box" (that I hadn't packed, nor been given a contents list for. In summary, I was quite disappointed with Grace, and will be aiming to use another company next time.

Professional from start to finish – My move involved personal belongings and my car being transported from SA to WA. Grace handled everything from the initial quote to the pick up and delivery with expert care and professionalism. Fantastic job team! I can highly recommend Grace for any interstate move. Show reply
