Use this business with caution. No contact phone number, first red flag. I placed an order for a vbelt for a John Deere mower. Website part shows correct item but once received it’s the wrong part. Contacted Greenacres, no apology no offer to rectify, they make it my problem to resolve and pay to return the part. Service is crap. Easier to write off my loss and deal with someone I can talk to face to face.
Website states blades are for 18inch Victa Mower but are the incorrect size for my 18inch Victa Mower. Informed Green Arces of the error and they didn't care. Save yourself the heartache and go to a local shop instead, their information can't be trusted.
I was attempting to source engine parts for a B and S engine. The website was confusing and contradictory so I sent an email asking for assistance and was just sent a link to what I already was looking at. Obtaining mower spare parts – Have been using Green Acres Mowers for a few years now, have been very happy with the quality of the parts purchased. Postage to Victoria has been very reasonable and arrived on time ever time. Lately had to email Green Acres Mowers as not sure which part numbers I needed. with a v not flat side. When I emailed to advise them of their careless error I got no response, let alone apology. When you can't use a mower waiting for a part you don't want to waste time being carelessly sent the wrong part. The business should have apologised and express posted the correct part as advertised to reduce my inconvenience. Instead after I had to waste my time sending back their incorrect part they eventually deducted a 20percent restocking fee from my refund for their own stuff up. Ebay had to get them to refund the 20percent. Mistakes happen but this was a very careless one and the business made no effort to fix their mistake. Very disappointing
Parts not fit for purpose – Purchased clutch plates for Greenfield mower. They did not fit. Shaft hole too small and centre spigots about 12 mm too long. Hand filed square shaft hole to fit and machined spigot down to suit, mower now operating. Requested recompense however told no, should have sent them back or contacted them. they don't have a phone number and needed mower operating. Rubbish product. Rubbish service.

Appalling customer service! – I ordered a new recoil starter online but when it arrived I realised that I needed a new cup as well as the original is different. I contacted them by email asking if they sold the cup separately or if I would have to buy another recoil starter that came with the cup. those parts” this baffled me as I had sent a link to them with the recoil starter and cup from their website which was in stock! I then sent another email telling them that they do in fact sell them in the kit. The next response was even worse, all I got was “We don’t sell that part on its own”.
I then went and bought a cup from China which is going to take weeks to arrive and then to my amazement I found the cup SOLD ON ITS OWN BY Green Acres!!!
So basically whoever was replying to me in the email did not want to help me in the slightest and don’t even know what damn products they sell!!!
They flat out lied to me because they either couldn’t be bothered or just don’t know what the hell they are selling!
So now I’m going to have to borrow a lawn mower until the cup arrives from China when Green Acres should’ve done their damn job and sold me the cup that they supposedly don’t sell?! Which was a lie by the way, they have it in stock…
I sent them an email with the link to the cup and told them how unimpressed with their service i was and guess what? Radio silence! Not so much as an apology!
At the end of the day they have lost my business because at first I was thinking I’d be doing all my business with them as their site is quite good but I will never ever buy a single thing from them in the future that’s for sure!
Never again – Do not deal with them - go through a local mower supplier where you can speak with someone. They are quick to take your money, that is all they are good at. You may end up with the wrong part they will refuse to accept back or refund. DO NOT RISK USING THIS COMPANY Show details

Great service when things go wrong – I recently bought a disc and blades for my Masport mower. They arrived quickly and were well packed. When I went to assemble them, there was a problem. After a few emails, they offered me a replacement or refund. I took the refund and it was in my account very quickly. I was impressed that they were there when things went wrong and will certainly be back again.
Replacement fuel cap – I needed a fuel cap for my Husqvarna ride on mower. Went to my local dealer where it was originally bought from and was told that spares were no longer available for that model due to its age.
