Total scam artists. Received a gift voucher which in small print only had a 2 month period of validity. Contacted them 2 days after the expiry and asked for it to be extended or refund the money paid which they rejected. This is how they make their money. Should be shut down.
Do not buy anything! They don’t honour their return policy if the service is not satisfactory. They also lied to me saying I have 12 months to use my credit and then 6 months later they take the credit away saying the person that offered 12 months of credit was wrong! This company is cooked! After one hour of asking for a follow up direct contact information as each navigation away closes the assist window (by design I'm sure) and my requests blatantly ignored, my civil tone became angrier and through their dishonest, evasive rep I be some downright insulting.
In any event, the take away here is I'm never doing business with them and nor should you. The important thing to remember is they will never provide direct customer assistance. The only way to eventually get to a chatbot is to question an existing order, which means if you don't give them money they don't give you any attention.
For those like me that had to Google information to get in touch with them the answer is you cannot. I guess you could place an order and then spend an hour clicking to the hidden place where the bot shows up and be willing to sacrifice your money in order to get answers. In my case, I had a decade old account with $130 in it that I could not get information or clarity on because there's nobody to comtact When somebody finally appeared, they were creepy about providing $$$ information that is rightfully mine.

This experience has completely put me off using Groupon again. If you’re using the app for deals, save yourself the trouble and contact the business directly — you can usually get the same offer without dealing with this kind of terrible aftercare. Don’t waste your time or money.

Groupon refused to refund a purchase for a restaurant. The restaurant informed me that I should be able to get a refund. Groupon states that refund in under 14 days but do not honour this. The message when i tried to do this said it was outside the 7 day refund policy which was not on the purchase policy. When i asked for more information, it says it is non-refundable. No written proof of where this is stated.

There was no willingness at all to solve the issue, despite it being reported instantly. I do not recommend using Groupon. If anything goes wrong, even a simple mistake, you’re on your own.

morning that he could not make it. It was the day when our table is booked in Brisbane (we are at the Gold Coast). Immediately, I cancelled the booking using the online chat but it triggered a cancellation forfeiture if we do not use it. We could not use it or neither can we find a suitable replacement with 4pp ready to have dinner in Brisbane. However, it was a happy outcome as I ended getting a FULL refund from using Groupon credits (Groupon bucks).
I think my patience with the Groupon Customer Support team paid off. Groupon runs a business and they are getting their act together now from changes in senior local management. We all like a good bargain and more so in an environment with high food prices.
Tips: a.Patience; b.Allow time for them to response (in my case, I allowed 2 weeks within which I will escalate it another notch); c.Show cause - explain. Get your facts right. d.Groupon bucks are a form of credits but ensure that the credits are in full. In my case, I am happy for a repurchase (not refund) as I intended to use the same offering. Your case may differ. e.Be kind and there is no need to disparage them as it will make things worse; f.Provide them with good feedback to improve their system.

Will never use again! Their merchant did not answer the phone, only to discover they are no longer in business. the Eastbank Cafe bar, Circular Quay, was limited and not comparable to other guests attending the restaurant. The food was of a low quality and the main dishes were only lukewarm warm. I will never purchase a Groupon voucher again.

I live in Canada but this time I purchased an allergy testing kit and after I tried to redeem it I was told that it is based in the U.S therefore they don't ship to Canada. I asked for a refund and I paid in U.S. dollars but my refund was given back to me in Groupon Bucks for almost $10.00 less. Not too happy with them. I feel very ripped off.

only included 8 nights. While the itinerary was later confirmed before ticketing, the original advertisement promoted a 9-night package and this was a key factor in our decision to purchase the deal.
There were also several other issues that reduced the overall value of the package:
We were required to pay an additional $598 after purchase in order to proceed with booking.
Checked baggage was not included, resulting in additional costs that were not obvious from the main deal page.
The Kyoto tour described as a “Morning Full Day Tour” was only a half-day tour.
The Osaka open-top bus tour commentary was not understandable, which significantly reduced the value of that activity.
The package was described as an immersive experience with guided highlights, however most days were self-guided with optional tours at extra cost.
Japan itself was wonderful and we enjoyed visiting the destination, but the travel package delivered did not align with the expectations created by the Groupon promotion.
I raised these issues with both Groupon and the merchant Kindle Travels Pty Ltd, however despite acknowledging the discrepancy between the 9 nights advertised and the 8 nights delivered, no compensation or refund was offered.
Travel deals can represent good value, but based on this experience I would strongly recommend carefully verifying all inclusions and the final itinerary before committing to purchase.

clear request for a remedy under Section 55 of the ACL (Fitness for a Particular Purpose), Groupon's supervisor explicitly stated that their "internal merchant policy" overrides my legal consumer guarantees. I was ignored for over 48 hours, only to be told that they refuse to provide a refund or even store credits. In Australia, "no refund" policies do not cancel out a consumer's right to a remedy for a major transaction failure or a product that is not fit for purpose. Missleading and fine print is hidden information. Be very aware. They can make a effort for inform you better if they were a responsible party. That's how the scam happens and money is lost.
