Advertising poor quality products and no disclose of country of origin
Bought Australia XL Mens Five Piece Compression Workout Set and received them after 15days. Materials are very thin and poor quality , with each piece has no label (you can see that label has been cut out) different size like short and long sleep shirt are both size M, T shirt and jacket are both size XS and long tight is an L. They were dispatched from Shenzhem, China., and if I knew this before I would definitely not order this as I had previous issues with products from China. Now Im stuck with 5 piece size XS instead of XL
Take your money but no product
I bought two whale watching tickets but although I received the order and the q reading I could not access my actual tickets to choose a time. I tried many times but it circuit repeats back to the list of purchases. I have tried everything to contact them for a refund. The number is disconnected , the address given is on a city floor that doesn't exist and the email was rejected. I am very unhappy that they can take my money immediately but I received nothing and I have to do all the fighting and effort to fix it. Beware of this company.
Groupon needs to disclose country of origin
There’s no way to tell when you redeem your voucher that you are dealing with a company in China. Therefore there’s no way to contact seller regarding shipping status when it drags out beyond 5 weeks! At least Amazon is way more responsive. After more than 5 years buying thru Groupon, I’m terminating my account. Also products are not always of good quality. Guess you get what you pay for!!
Refusal to extend vouchers over Covid
Even though the supplier was happy to extend the voucher,and was contacted prior to the expiry date and was told all vouchers would be extended to the end of the year. Groupon is refusing to honour it or give a refund. VERY BAD BUSINESS Groupon. Will never buy through them again.
no automatic refund
I purchased from Groupon and the goods were ultimately not available. I waited for 2 months to see whether a refund would be issued as this was stated on their website. After 2 months i contacted Groupon. They explained that the product had become unavailable (which I already knew). Given the extent of time that had lapsed, and the fact that i had to follow up, I can only conclude they had no intention of doing an automatic refund. This is very poor policy and unethical behaviour. I have no intention of using Groupon again.
Terrible customer satisfaction
Very poor customer service. I bought a cinema voucher before the covid pandemic and couldn’t use it because of the restrictions, so asked to extend the expired date but they refused. They didn’t even let You call them and they close their lines.
Nil customer care, be warned.
Groupon have a total disregard for customer care. We previously forfeited a $600 Canberra booking because the booking could not be changed.
Today another booking which was transferred to a future time can't be booked & their "chat" thing will take SEVEN days to respond (four days after our reguested booking date).
As well their phone contact has been discontinued with a message to use on line "chat".
A most annoying & costly exercise because of unusable vouchers. Be warned!

My family gave me a voucher for a 1 hour pamper package back in January 2020. I booked early March to then be asked to move it because of personal reasons. Happy to do so but then had to keep contacting them to arrange another suitable time. Then of course they had to close because of Covid 19 but there was no contact with me regarding this. In mid September when WA had been open for some time I had to contact them to rebook. I was given Friday 16th Oct. When I arrived they couldn't do it because the Groupon Voucher had expired!!! I had to a...sk my daughter to contact Groupon to cancel and rebook. After sending the clinic a copy of the new voucher I was give an appointment for 9th November. (Bookings were weeks apart and never really times to suit me). When I arrived they said it was for the 16th but I still had the text confirming they had given me the 9th - another wasted trip. Though always apologetic, this business needs to sort out its customer service. With my schedule getting very busy now up to Christmas I cannot afford to be messed around any more. Can I get a refund for my daughter who was only trying to help a small business?

They 'expired' my website credit without warning. $35 wasted, not even worth arguing.
Received credit for the purchase becay service couldn't be provided due to pandemic. 6 months later this credit expired without warning.

Received my Women’s tie-dye jumper and it’s so bad. It’s suppose to be synthetic and cotton and Believe me it feels like it’s All synthetic. I will never purchase again nor could I even give this away. Does not look anything like it does in the picture and it would be so so hot to Wear this fabric. Don’t waste your money ......
Challenge to contact
I purchased a product which was supposedly shipped and the tracking number didn’t exist with the courier. I could not contact Groupon through their website. It was unfortunate that I had to put up a negative review to get a response. Good news - they did contact me and my challenge has been sorted so was able to change my rating from 1 star to 4 ⭐️

I'm thinking of purchasing a Groupon voucher for a catering promotion. It looks like a great deal but I'm worried from the reviews I've read , that the catering company may deliver an inferior service if they know I've made a booking using a Groupon voucher. I understand that one of the problems with Groupon is that the customer experience will depend on the supplier and the goods purchased, but what are the chances the supplier will give a lesser service if you book using a Groupon deal versus paying full price?
Hi Gretta, Groupon used to be good. Now, they wriggle their way out of everything. Following my complaint about the goods purchased, I have received three emails from different persons. Replies such as "... we are sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused. Can you please email us at xxxxxxx explaining the issue so that we can be in touch?" The last email was from: Prabhu Jada Prasad (Groupon Customer Support - International). I don't know if it's from Groupon Australia or overseas but am still waiting for a resolution of the issue. As it stands at the moment, I doubt I will buy anymore deals from Groupon.
Has anyone else who purchased a 7 in 1 portacot from groupon and found it extremely difficult to dismantle, any suggestions on how to simply fold down? At the moment this portable cot is a permanent cot!

Hi, I ordered 2 sets of towels. Their facility does not enable you to order the same item(just different colours) so was up for 2 lots of postage. Ridiculous and it seems quite sneAky to me. Will think twice before ordering again. I did send them an email & there was a response. Basic response but a response none the less. Good luck.
