charge of handling phone calls and she became extremely rude, when asked to speak with the manager she hung up on me, I have since been told this individual will have further training on customer services, I was contacted by the manager and it was a mission to get any action done without lots of deflection, I provided clear CCTV footage showing how the door was completely up and then once almost in the garage it began closing down, it failed to retract back up once it struck my car (the company admitted if it was working well it would of bounced back up) after numerous emails back and forth the company agreed to replace the door panel and motor but after trying to blame everything under the sun except take ownership for their faults. On top of that I put a review up prior to the replacement work and I received several emails asking me to take it down or change it to a more positive review. In one email the manager said quote “I will not shy away from negative reviews”…. I always thought reviews were a personal opinion on an experience but apparently to gryphon they try and hide them The only positive was the reinstallation, a different service tech came out and replaced the panel and motor, he was very professional and friendly, we had no troubles at all with him and are very satisfied with the final job Anyone thinking of going with gryphon doors just consider carefully if it’s worth it, I’ve never had such a hard time using a Warranty to have faulty items attended to I hope in the future when having any services done they are to high standards as advertised on their website

kind of after sales service. Brett always gives good feedback and is helpful and pleasant. I needed to replace an existing garage door which was making terrible noises when opening and closing. I was disappointed I needed to do this on a property I had just purchased. However, I could not put up with the clunking door. When I contacted Gryphon and arranged an onsite quote, I was very happy with the quality of the product and subsequently the very reliable and prompt service. Chris explained the features of the product, and left brochures for me to read. From that time on I knew I was making a good choice. The installation of my new door went ahead on time and was carried out in a very professional manner. The old garage door was removed and taken away, and my new door installed in no time. It works smoothly and silently and the appearance and operation of the door nearly two and a half years on is still absolutely perfect. The Gryphon product is one I can confidently and highly recommend. I have arranged annual service of the door, and at all times the after sales communication with the company has been excellent.

a few days break I tried again eventually getting through, I was seeking a tentative installation date and was told once the door was made an installer would contact me. As the weeks went on with no contact or installation date I again called the main office and was told after waiting six weeks the door was ready and the installer would contact me to arrange installation.The installer phoned at the end of that week arranging installation which was effectively week7. My main complaint would be a complete lack of communication in keeping me the customer in the loop as to what is going on, and would suggest an overhaul of customer communication to avoid this situation happening to other customers.

stayed in touch. Once my deposit was paid it took about 2 weeks until my install day. The instalation guy was trying his hardest to work around my work availability. Which was nice of him. He then called the day before, to remind me, which I didn't need, or mind. Smart business practice. He was on site early but didn't knock on the door until his allocated time. It was fully installed within 4 hours and he then showed me how it all operated. The final product is whisper quiet and looks amazing. The colour I was guided to buy is a perfect match for my now faded colour bond garage. It looks a million dollars. I wish I had replaced my old door sooner. But glad I chose Gryphon Garage doors to install it. The 10 year warranty is also great piece of mind for me. Terrible communicators!!! – Seems the warranty offered is useless if you don't get your garage door and motor serviced yearly. Please read the small print and conditions for your warranty before you sign and pay. Getting anyone to ring you from Gryphon is a nightmare and I chose to go elsewhere because of it. that has been my experience). I am unable to get a response from them unless I come to this site, all other efforts of communication is ignored. I did not even received a receipt from them for the work I have paid for without a huge argument here. This, coupled with the elusiveness of those in a position to authorise any assistance, obviously forces Customers to bring up issues on sites like this, which (of course) are responded to by suggestions that the Customer is lying and has no real cause for complaint at all!

Professional service - quick, efficient, no hassle – Had a garage door replacement after the old one got damaged. They came and made the old door safe immediately, provided the quote to get the replacement door made and fitted and also provided some guidance on general door maintenance.
