App Cam connected to home wifi. When I’m at home I can access the camera using my phone by connecting to the HD number in my Wifi settings. When I’m away however, I can’t access the camera. Please advise!

Is the camera connected to the wifi? Look at the app setting of the camera and see if it is connected to the wifi. The camera has to connect to your home wifi so when you’re away you can access it. What app are you using?

I had this trouble too initially. Got in contact with Uniden customer care/support and they put me onto this app. Uniden AppCam . It can be found on the Google Play website at.....

T&C M - Yes I’ve set up the app to use my home wifi. It took awhile to sort this out. I used the cable first and set up as wired access, then was able to set up as wireless. But when I do connect my mobile to the camera, I always have to switch my phone wifi settings to connect to the “HD” label, which is separate to my home wifi modem. So whenever I need to use my home internet again, I have to go to my phone settings and select my home wifi. I’m using the app in Marc’s reply.

Marc - it seems like that’s the one I’m using.
