Absolutely appalling service from Haggle Co's customer care team. I would give zero stars is I could. My 80-year-old mother received faulty furniture (a table and 3 chairs) on 22/5. The items were unboxed and assembled the next day, only for her to discover visible damage. I tried calling the store over the weekend to raise the issue on her… Read more

behalf—no one answered the phone. She then visited the Woodville store in person, and the salesperson told her to text photos of the damage to a mobile number. She’s not tech-savvy, so I sent the photos along with a message explaining that the existing table (which weighs around 100 kg) would need to be disassembled for an exchange. To our shock, Customer Care responded by saying that the cost of disassembling the damaged table would be at my mother’s expense—a completely unreasonable expectation for someone of her age and physical ability. I contacted Consumer Business Services, who agreed it was unreasonable to expect the table to be disassembled before the faulty one was collected. Despite this, I’ve received no response from Haggle Co since my last email, and it's now been days with no resolution. I have also lodged a complaint with the ACCC. There are many similar complaints about the unprofessionalism of Haggle Co’s customer service online, and sadly, I’m now adding mine. What’s most disappointing is that my mother has been a loyal customer of the Woodville store for years, yet she’s been treated with complete disregard. Think twice before purchasing anything from Haggle Co. If something goes wrong, you may be left with zero support.

Dishonest/refused To Honor Warranty On an expensive Mattress – Worst warranty service ever. The matress start sagging and dipping in one side and changed from firm to very softer surface during the period of 2 year and was not keeping the good body posture. the weight is off. But mine is dipped 5 to 7cm". Which they said is normal and asked me to send the mattress back for further assessment on my cost and mentioned that i have to pay more for the repairs. did not respect their warrant claim. Stay away from them they will not honor warranty

Was having a dissatisfied customer worth it – Salesperson at Woodville brought to our attention single bed bases on special at $99 each. We wanted 2. We specifically asked why on sale and was told floor clearance and the colour range. Bases stacked up against the wall in group of 4 and on outward visual inspection no noticeable faults. the hatch that was restrained with strap and drove 4 minutes to deliver and unload (Safely). Returned for second one which was loaded onto shop trolley from against wall and out to car. Both bed bases had a plastic bag containing legs stapled to the bed base with a rag tie which seemed strange why there in the middle of the material base. Next day in the process of attaching legs the stapled bag was cut away and a timber support fell away. Short story it was supporting a loose board. Attempts to return and request an exchange were refused by Haggle co. Phone call from Manager said they do not and will not accept refund/Exchange on floor specials. We explained we only want an exchange no refund as our product was damaged. Returning to store we discovered one of the remaining bed bases also had a broken/loose support board. Haggle co on showing photo of bed base loaded in our car claimed we damaged it in transit which was not the case. We now know why these were on sale at a reduced price they were DAMAGED. 2nd email to HaggleCo customer service was unanswered (Not surprised when they are wiping their hands of our concerns. Overall a BAD experience and a warning to other prospective customers wanting to buy from Haggle Co-DON'T.

Damaged goods delivered - no reply from the store or Customer Service Team – I had a great experience in store, right up until I paid. I bought almost the entire Santa Fe range, at a cost of thousands. Some items were delivered quickly, some I waited 3 months for. My dining table is damaged with small black marks and a dented tabletop. The marks aren’t really the problem, I’m happy to keep the table and clean it myself… Read more

- I’ve asked multiple times what they suggest I clean it with so I don’t ruin it and their only response is “we don’t know”.

This is not what I paid for in store and the Customer Service team are only contactable by email. My issue with the table has been going on for 3 months and am yet to receive a call or email from the Customer Service team….only one condescending reply from the Noarlunga team stating that the marks are part of the wood grain and it’s “intended to have black marks” which is odd because the display stock instore isn’t marked and neither are any of the other 6 items from the exact same range….

Awful customer experience which is really disappointing because I’d heard good things.

Thankyou – Would just like to commend Sharon on her customer service skills. She was such an amazing help to us when we were choosing our rugs. Everyone makes comments on our rugs in regards to how they look, how soft and thick they are and we find them very forgiving with our four legged baby's hair and easy to vacuum. Awful staff etiquette – Absolutely disgusting customer service from the lady on the phone at the Norlunga store. Was asked about the best price on an item as it was 500 cheaper a couple of months ago. Made a belittling comparison to groceries being on special. When asked about being called haggle co she then corrected us and told us its just haggle. Might want to check the meaning of the word and your advertising campaigns. Wouldn't spend my money there ever again.

Unsatisfied – Haggleco at gepps x purchased a table and chairs. Was told they would definitely be in by Xmas. Today physically went to store and was told wasn't sure why I was told that. Very disappointed ended up purchasing another at different store and got partical refund. Won't shop there again

Horrible customer service – Had horrible customer service from Haggle Co. Received a faulty item that they then refused to assist with - no exchange and no refund. Staff i dealt with trying to sort out the issue were rude and dismissive. All round disgusting experience. Would never recommend or purchase from here again.

by me ringing up. We were told they delay was not their fault. When the lounge finally came two nice delivery guys came, and placed the two large boxes in the lounge and left. I had to try and work out the instructions which was a laugh. The slide out bed now won't fit in properly and is so badly made it's farce. Will never deal with them again.

Then we rang back 2 hrs later and asked if we could still keep the original order and pay the balance due and the answer was NO .???? She had already cancelled it in her system so they will keep the $650 deposit and if we want any furniture we have to start again!! Never use them again.

Appalling customer service and delivery! Still waiting for the rest of what we paid for! – 13th of August we purchased a bed frame, two bedsides and a tall boy, all up around $2000, we opted for delivery for $100 fee and were told there would be about 2-3 week wait for it to be delivered. 2 weeks later we were told the things would be delivered by 11am, however they did not show up forcing me to take the day off work to wait, multiple… Read more

calls made advising the driver is on his way, then get told he forgot to load our items on the truck, the delivery came at 6:50pm without so much as an apology. but was missing the tall boy, Haggle CO advised they were waiting on stock and it would be delivered another month passed with no word from haggle co, we called to query where it was they advised they would deliver it next week but also claimed we would need to pay the $100 delivery fee again, which we disputed and they dropped, it is now the 17/10/23 and we are still waiting on a product that was paid for on 13/08/23 which they claim will now be next week which I am not holding my breathe on. I will be looking to press this with an ACL (Australian Consumer Law) claim as I suspect Haggle CO is in breach of quite a few of the consumer protection laws in place, and judging by the past reviews I am certainly not the first.

to collect our bedroom suite that has been fully paid for and was in stock and apparently put aside in March to find out it was not there and had been given to someone else. There was almost no effort to resolve this matter for us after dealing with the store and also emailing the head office. Their best solution was to offer us display stock with absolutely no discount, refund or good will gesture. We are finally ready to move into our dream home and after ordering a bedroom suite 9 months in advance we do not have one. Will never shop there again

13 years later and still as great as brought – Friendly & Professional staff at parafield. I brought bedroom suite as took 10% off as paid cash and after 13 years still as great as brought, with no problems and would buy again. Sad to read so many 1 star reviews. Very helpful staff but not very competitive pricing – Brought a rug that was ordered in for us in a specific size. Super happy with the rug but when we went to get another the prices were much higher even though ours wasn’t on sale. The staff are friendly and although the store layout is a bit dated it’s easy to find what you are looking for.

Will never purchase from here again – Purchased a lounge suite 12 months ago which fell apart with normal use I put in a warranty claim at the end of February and was only contacted about an assessment yesterday, I received the results of the inspection today, needless to say I WILL never purchase from Haggle Co again And you assessor need some lesson in customer service

Not happy at all – Purchased bed 24th December sales assistant said they were not in stock but due mid January. It is the 31st January with no contact from them to us but i have phoned them 4 times to check when we can collect. They advertised bed on tv $50 less than what we had paid, i visited store next day. Sales assistant said yes, i replied we ordered this bed 24th December why have we not had a phone call to collect. He said he would check computer and said he did not know why. I asked if we could get the $50 refunded as they are on sale now and compromise on delivery as my husband wants to cancel and shop elsewhere. He replied it is a $75 fee to cancel, we will not refund the $50 as when you bought it it was not on special and no compromise on delivery as this is done by another company. I asked is there anything they were willing to do as a happy compromise, he said no read your fine print it is all stated in there. I said but you had not met your obligation as my invoice states "harlem bed on order due mid January". He stated it is still January, i said it is the 31st January are you sure there is nothing you can do for us as this is the first time we have shopped with you. He said no and handed me back my paperwork and said thank you have a nice day. First and last time shopping with you.
