I had a specific timeframe for this installation to be completed, and the lack of communication has been extremely frustrating. Good customer service is about keeping customers informed, especially when delays occur.
Based on my experience, I would recommend being cautious before purchasing. Delays can happen, but poor communication and lack of updates are unacceptable.

I have purchased 10 vertical blinds from Half Price Blinds and I have another 2 to order. Easy order process, delivery is very acceptable considering I am in Queensland. Price is what first drew me to them. Quality is excellent, installation is easy (I am a 67 year old female and have installed all of them on my own). Service has been awesome. original product, but the instruction video they provided had nothing to do with the part itself. When I requested a refund, they told me I would need to return the faulty blind at my own expense, even after I had already sent them a video clearly showing the defect. I eventually raised a dispute through PayPal, and only then did they send me a full replacement that works (for now). Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend ordering from this company.

Follow-up · Installation was easy because I was replacing the old slats. I just unclipped the old slats and slipped in the new slats. Easy. The light blocking is excellent. My aged father can sleep in his room during the day because the sunlight is blocked out. Cleaning is easy. I just wipe them down if there are any marks on them from splashes above the kitchen sink. I have now put the blinds on 4 windows and 2 sets of sliding doors.

Ordering was easy on-line (no sales pressure). Double checking the dimensions is crucial!! Delivery was quick, though one package suffered damage in transit that impacted the trim on the blind inside. A replacement component arrived very quickly. Service was responsive and supporting.
The blinds were exactly the correct size and they were fairly easy to fit. No special tools or techniques, but it is definitely a two person job. An electric screwdriver/drill and a few individual screwdrivers were all that was required. Again, double check the mountings with the instructions before you commit!
The result looked great. The inframe roller blinds replaced traditional hanging drapes and seemed to make the room much bigger. We were very pleased with the outcome, and for a very reasonable price.
Three years on the blinds still look great. The material has held up well against sun and usage - no fading or cracking.
It is worth mentioning that the blinds have a bottom bar that is quite easy to remove. Our cat forced its way into the window frame one night and put a small tear in the blind at the bottom bar. It turned out to be quite easy to unmount the blind, remove the bottom bar and trim a few centimeters off the bottom of the blind to eliminate the tear. Reattaching the bar was easy, and there was plenty of excess length. These are good blinds if you are a bit handy!
Follow-up · The mechanism is fairly easy to use. The big blinds take a bit of tension on the chains to move up and down, but it is not difficult. The chains are discrete. Those with arthritis might find it hard. The blinds both block sunlight in, and prevent air circulating against the glass, which reduces convection/conduction/radiation both in and out. which blind(s) goes in which room. The measurements we provided were not the same size as the actual blinds because of allowance for brackets so we couldn't even match the width we supplied them with the received product. Hours wasted.

Purchased Vertisheers from them on the 24th Oct. After the rail was damaged in freight they remade and resent the rail which I received today 23rd of Dec only to go to install and realise that they have not sent the brackets for installing them. After 2 months of waiting I am over fighting with them and just want my money back and will send them everything back.
