Fantastic value and unbelievably quick delivery – Hallensteins clothing is fantastic value for money. Pair that with the speed at which items are delivered, it's genuinely the best ordering experience I've ever received. Example: I live in Melbourne, I ordered on A Monday morning around 11am. The items were delivered from Auckland around 3pm the next day! I haven't got items from Australia that quickly!

had been processed and they will not make any changes.

The order hadn’t even left the warehouse, it didn’t get picked up until 1pm that afternoon. Basically just too lazy to find the order and fix the mistake. Now I have to go through the huge hassle of returning the item, paying for the return shipping, and replacing it with the correct size.

What would have been a 5 min job for your staff, has now turned into a 3 day hassle and extra cost for me. Will never shop at Hallensteins again

administration side of this clothing line is EMBARRASSING. How do you have shop assistants looking all styled up but the admin side don’t match. Whatever the process is between me ordering and the products being sorted in store, needs attention.

Hallenstein "supports team", who told me to contact the store directly. When I first contacted the store, someone left me 10 minutes waiting on the phone while they were looking for my order, to finally get back to me saying they couldn`t find it and that they would call me back later (which they didn't). I went to the store on the following day and also after a long wait someone was able to find my order - but only one of the items was ready and they were waiting for the second item to arrive from the central office. So, I`m still waiting for the confirmation email saying it`s ready for collection. Contacted the support team yesterday again, who told me to contact the store directly again (why do they even exist?!). Basically its been more than two weeks since I placed my order and no news about it so far. This can`t be right!!

Failed to ship order, false claims about local shipping – Beware, all online orders ship from New Zealand. Hallensteins don't declare this on their web site, instead they use misleading information to give the impression items ship locally. They make false claims that Aust. 'metro' orders will be delivered in "2 – 4 business days". They took my payment, emailed me claiming it was 'on its way'. FOUR DAYS… Read more

LATER they demanded I email a copy of my licence or my passport for photo ID. They use DHL and palmed me off to this courier when I tried to find out where my order was. If they just used NZ and Australia Post there would be none of this invasion of privacy into my personally identifying information just to make a basic online retail purchase.

My order never left New Zealand. The items were for a birthday gift which was long missed. '[Name Removed]' from customer service showed no concern about Hallensteins' significant failure to meet expectations and gave unsatisfactory responses. She merely claimed the onerous identification demands are a "normal process". She even had the audacity to state that I would have to wait for the package to return from DHL before they'd refund me.

Hallensteins did not try to actually get my order shipped to me and just flipped me a refund with no true apology for failing to deliver and wasting my time.

Surprisingly poor quality – Ordered cord shorts, was extremely excited upon arrival. Seemed like a great pair of shorts. Very nice feel and look. Loved them, actually. However, after 5-6 times wearing for maybe 2 hours each time, the crotch completely wore out. I contacted them regarding my disappointment and I was appropriately refunded. :) So that is great. But something questionable they said is that they chose to refund instead of sending a replacement pair because it would be likely to happen again. If this is the case, why was my review removed? It would be a great heads up. I don't know why it would be acceptable to sell shorts known to wear down.

Do you know how to make a freaking long sleeve shirt – Long sleeve shirts you know you are suppose to be able to wear them but you put stupid pictures on the back, but not like other company's who just put a picture on it and you barely notice it, this one goes right through the shirt so instead of it being comfortable all you can feel is that stupid picture this shirt cost $80 and it was a waste it… Read more

"verification system" is a little flawed. If someone had stolen my wallet and emailed you through my ID and credit card that doesn't prove its actually me. You look at my photo ID and compare it to what exactly ?

I emailed them back to cancel my order. Surely if something was flagged you could at least have an alternative method other than requesting highly sensitive personal information via email.

Not shopping there anymore, not what it used to be – Not shopping there anymore, not what it used to be . Hassle on an order of $50 asking me to send photo I.d and photo of credit card. No thank you i'm not comfortable sending that information. Its $50 not $300, also quality on clothing not what it used to be.

Not worth it!! Colors Fading!! – I found after 2 washes my IFD Dakota Jogger Chinos are faded, it was Navy now it looks like washed blue, i wore them maximum 5 times. RRP AUD60 got them for AUD30 still not worth the price tag at all.
