Ordered a pair of Havaianas, 23 days later nothing had arrive and when I emailed Havaianas.com.au they just replied the hadn't shipped "not yet been fulfilled, so there isn’t a tracking number or estimated delivery date available." So they took payment and will not provide an ETA when I can get what I paid for.....
I love these thongs however purchased directly online to Havaiana AU and I’m still waiting for my order to arrive. It’s now over two weeks since placing my order and I still don’t even have a shipping number despite emailing and being told the my order is “currently unfulfilled, which means it hasn't been shipped just yet. As soon as your order is processed and leaves our warehouse…” DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

Havaina thongs generally made of reasonable materials. However the women's thongs are on the flimsy side due to the lack of depth/height in the soles. They can be a trip hazard due to the toe being significantly of less height to the health of the heel of the sole. It can curl under and trip a person in some circumstances causing a serious… Read more
accident. Also the straps are flimsy. The men's thongs are much better. They have a denser sole and adequate toe/strap. The women's thongs in certain circumstances could cause more instability and injury. Women need a sturdier thongs like the men's thongs. I hope the company reviews the flimsy women's thongs so as to eliminate the possibility of trip accidents.
I would also like to add that in general the materials and manufacturing of Havanna thongs is not… Read more (+1 reply)

I just can't do it anymore. This is the third pair that has lasted only a few weeks before it de plugged. Get it together guys.
Quality gets worse and worse while prices rise – They seem to have simultaneously increased their prices like they're a premium brand while reducing the quality of the product. Lucky to now get 2-months out of a pair before they break. Customer service is terrible bordering on rude. Last order arrived looking like they'd been pre-worn or thrown around the factory a bit. Sad to see the demise of a once iconic brand.
Bad quality product – Bought a new pair not even 2 months ago and the rubber underneath has cracked around the plugs and in the middle of the heal. The colour has also come off already near the end of the thong. Really bad quality and won't bother paying $40 on this brand again!. Don't waste your money. Disappointed! Show details
Worst flip flops ever produced! – Don't waste $30+ on these poor quality thongs... I've only had this pair a short time & only use them around my tiny courtyard area... what a waste of money!... I've had $5 thongs last 10x longer... disappointing doesn't begin to describe Hacienda brand.

Straps too long – Have always bought dupe rubber thongs. Not able to now. So have gone to havaianas for couple of years now. Up till now all good. However always bought the same size and this time they have made the straps that little bit longer. So when I walk they flop around too much compared to my others the same size . Nit happy if this keeps going Show details
Look forward to buying a new pair every summer – Going against what most people are saying about haviannas. They are actually a pretty good deal! I can usually pick them up for 10 to 15 dollars. Sure they break after a year or so but for the price it is reasonable considering how much use I get out of them. Better to support Australian brands anyway.
Extremely happy – I've worn Haviana's for years and find they are the only ones that last. Comfort is great and the fit is excellent. I had a warranty claim this weekend, and the customer service team is faultless and the returns department were prompt. This can be so hard to find these days. Customer for life! Show details

They don’t make em like they used to – I have worn havies for 20 years. In the last 3 years the quality has taken a steep downturn. Flimsy. Break too easily. Pretty easy to trip. I won’t be buying them ever again. Show details
Havaianas is too expensive for how long one pair could do the job – This is at least the second times I remember in these 2 years I have 2 havaianas flip flop and they lasted me 7 months and 9 months, and the warranty only 6 months. The first one I used a lot everyday but the second one I didn’t want to use a lot due to I was worried it’ll break because I know the warranty is only 6 months, and this morning it… Read more
broke. I normally not keeping the receipt but the last one I bought I kept the receipt. I bought in July and it’s only April now. It cost AUD 49.98 for a pair, and lasts for 9 months. My Roxy flip flop lasts me until the pair became slippery and very thin

Poor quality for a well known brand – Sub standard quality and mine easily broker after less than 1 year of use. You’re better of buying a cheaper pair from Kmart or something. Research online other well known brands and definitely stay away from this one.

Quality has really gone down hill – I have always been a havi buyer. But have noticed over the last couple of years how poor the quality is. Bought this latest pair not long ago, and have only worn them around the house and have another blow out! As you can see there is hardly any wear to them. So disappointed considering how much they cost now! Show details
Sold out! – After only ever wearing this brand my entire life, they are no longer my choice of thong. Two pairs in two months. Quality durability is gone. Don’t bother wasting ur money. Kmart thongs $3 out lasting these $40.00 rip off. Show details
What happened to favourite thongs? – The quality of this brand has failed. Very hard, flat rubber and one awkward misstep has then snapping and hence straight to the bin. Used to love them but now a $6.00 pair from any cheap store is better quality.
I'll prioritise your order! – Hi, if you can't send an item out the same day (after communication seeing if this is possible) just advise that! No Hav's and will have to buy at the airport now. Will be delivered the day I leave!
Full of Excuses – I purchase some new Havaianas on a Wednesday evening after my last pair had a catastrophic failure. I pay extra for express post. They send me a Auspost tracking number on Thursday. It sits on the system as "unconfirmed" all day. I ask why and get this excuse about delays in updates. The next day it's still in transit and Auspost tell me it's not… Read more
arriving until after the weekend. I contact Havaianas customer service and all they do is assume it's in SA when it's still in transit. Then they tell me their shipping time for express delivery is 2 to 4 business days. I must have missed that small print. So you pay extra for express post and get nothing but excuses and denial. Never again.
My faves are dead to me – I have been a long term buyer, but no more. The toe junction attachment breaks if you happen to walk on uneven pavement. That mean straight to the bin. The quality has changed so much that it feels like you are walking on two cardboard cutouts. Awful
Terrible product – This is my third pair of havaianas and they only ever last a few months before breaking at the strap. This will be my last pair ill ever buy from them, good riddance Show details
poor quality new Havaianas – ordered Havaianas direct from Havaianas.company arrived with a quality issue i contacted c/s they responded. I kindly inform you that according to our quality department, this is not considered as a quality issue, as it is only a residue and by walking it should be regulated. WILL RETURN ITEM my response Thanks for your assistance, to say it's… Read more
not a quality issue is beyond ridiculous the main stress point on the item 50% missing ? will be leaving appropriate review

So hard between toes can’t wear – My last Havianas 2 years ago were so great, but these new ones with the jewel in, are so painful. It’s obviously a different manufacturer as rubber too thick and hard, can’t literally wear, they’ll go in the bin.
Sizing has changed dramatically and size chart inaccurate – Bought a new pair to replace my old ones (about 2 years old). According to the size chart I should be a 36/37 but my old ones are size 36/37 and are just fractionally too big so I bought the size 35/36 hoping they'd be an improvement in fit. Lol! The new 35/36 are 1.5cm longer than my old 36/37. The straps are also longer so they are way too wide for my feet. The straps also look and feel more like plastic than rubber. Show details
Have Havaianas changed the materials they use? – After many years of wearing Havaianas I have just purchased my last pare. The material has compressed prematurely, it is slippery allowing them to move around under your foot so much so I have actually fallen over. This makes them really uncomfortable to walk any distance. Totally disappointed.
Broken toe strap – With light use they have broken at the toe after a few months, I've had cheap Big W thongs last longer and they are a fifth of the price of the Havaianas Show details
Quality is not what it used to be – Quality is chocking my last pair broke after a few weeks. Same for my wife ones. I emailed the customers service and got no response. I Facebook messaged them and got no response. I used to buy 5-6 pairs for the all family every 2 years or so. I guess I will look for a different flip flop now. Show details
Life time customer lost – Not sure what has happened to my havis, but the last 6 pairs I’ve bought haven’t even lasted 6 months.. like so many other reviews here, they snap at the toe plugger.. previously happy to shell out $50 for a pair that would seemingly last forever, now you’re lucky to get 2 months out of them.. I was so incredibly brand loyal to haviannas, refused… Read more
to even consider an alternative pair.. now I look at them with side eye, not even able to trust that they’ll see out the day.. very sad about the whole situation..
Overpriced Rubbish – Like all the other reviews the last 4 pairs I’ve owned have all broken at the tow strap and I’ve even started wearing the mismatched pairs and they all broke as well. This was once a fantastic brand as they were comfortable and reliable, now with a warranty pair in the mail I won’t even bother wearing them as I just can’t trust them anymore. … Read more
I’ve even noticed that some pairs fit well and some others fit very lose to the point they fold over under your feet, overpriced rubbish.
Poor quality and poor customer service – Don't buy! Thongs broke after only a few wears. Customer service for online purchases is poor. Thongs are under warranty and customer service can only be contacted by email and take days to reply. After 1 week and numerous emails I'm still waiting for an answer.
Barely last 6 months – X3 pairs of the exact same thong because I did love them but they don’t last even 6 months and break the exact same way every time. The plug snaps off! Today in the middle of a shopping centre my latest pair broke! I had no shoes on in the shops. I was furious. I have a pair of ipanemas that are 15 years old and still in excellent condition. $50 for thongs that are probably made for 50cents in a sweat shop Show details
