Closing down on July 1, 2023 – Up until the time I received notification that Hello Mobile was pulling the plug, I had nothing but praise for them. However, not only have they decided to terminate their service from July 1, they are still advertising their service and asking people to sign up. What kind of scam are they operating? It also surprises me that there has been NO media attention given to the matter!

I can't believe it spend me over $120 for just 15days! Never go back with Hello – 1. When you change the plan, your balance will become zero! 2. I have changed to a new plan combo 40 (39.99/30 days). My balance adjusted to ZERO (it was $43 in the balance). Then I recharged my account $40, auto-topup another $40. $80 was in my balance, I of course believed I can use 60days combo 40 plan. the plan combo 40. And I didn't know. The website my account page clearly display my plan is combo 40 which is unlimited national calls and texts and 2G data. IN FACT, every calls and internet data just costed me from my balance. Not included in the plan!!!

I couldn't quite get that was that they have balance and plan two accounts. The customer has to choose which account you want to recharge.

The answer they gave me was

So far so good! – I was previously with Aldi mobile unlimited $35 plan who use telstra lines however they originally offered 5gb of data then dropped it to 2.5gb then they removed unlimited completely so after searching for another unlimited carrier i found hello mobile who use vodafone. 4gb data which is great.i was mailed out the sim card which i received the next day and i called hello at 2pm tuesday to confirm i received the sim card so they could port across my existing number which took only 2.5hrs even though they said up to 24hours for it to transfer over. Becuase i ported across my number they gave me an extra $5 credit! I cant complain with that :o)

Also they have 24/7 hotline which ive called and gotten through very quickly on every occasion, as well as i have used their online chat service which is fast and u talk to a ph rep from phillipines but the head office is in chatswood, but the operators were easy to understand Recharge credit at woolies supermarket, 4gb, quick port of my number, 24/7 support

Best provider for the value--so far – Was looking for a provider after 2014 vodafone increased its rates. Compared Amaysim Lebara Boost Vaya and Hello Mobile. dollars for unlimited and I thought not bad and their call centre runs 24/7 and Livechat is always on to help. So I think at least you can find people.

In terms of Boost live chat, dunno why, still cannot connect and my chrome and firefox just go blank and dead.

I applied a sim card for Lebara Amaysim. Have not received yet after a week... Hello came in two days and number port in was only 2 hours. (done in the evening which is the beauty of service centre going 24/7)

So far so good have to say. Oh and their usage balance updates in real-time and data round-up for Unlimited plan is per KB and MB for other plans.

obviously a technical issue, in addition there are times both day and night where the system does not connect to Vietnam , possibly other carrier or satellite issues. Maybe the price we pay for modern technology. The girls at Hello Mobile are all very polite, obliging and efficient, the company is very fortunate to have staff of this calibre.

which is good for the people who doesn't use their mobile much. I don't use my data to download so not sure about the internet speed, otherwise is not bad. I have been with them for years and so far so good. Will recommend to my family and friends.

very supportive, patient & tolerant of a rather anxious elderly customer (me). She explained clearly & specifically, step-by-step, what had to be done to suit what I wanted/needed. Hello is always co-operative – In our area the signal fluctuates, as some areas are strong and others weak but we always get great customer service dealing with our problems !
