would love a larger ulrasound device to reach areas of my back – I have several areas on my back that are relieved with this but I wish the ultrasound end was larger and the length of the machine longer since there are areas that I cannot reach with this or hold it long enough for better results. Show details

Question – Hi there I have a question, I have fibrosed scar tissue in my cheek that causes pain and tightness. I have found using this device helpful but am wondering is this safe to use on my cheek? Could I cause fat loss or issues if I have the depth or time wrong (I guessed medium settings 2 mins a day) is their risk of atrophy or issues in Face? Thanks so much Show details ·  1

I Was Doubtful At First But Amazed In The End – I had a total knee replacement in March 2019. I returned to work 3 months later and had been living a fairly normal life since the surgery, apart from having some ongoing calf and thigh pain after walking long distances. I saw a Chiropractor, I had some dry needling, I had some more physio, I saw a Podiatrist and finally in desperation I tried… Read more ·  2

remedial massage. None of these things helped. I was becoming increasingly frustrated and impatient because something as simple as walking my dog would leave my calf and thigh tight, swollen and painful.

Out of the blue my Mother asked me to try a machine she'd purchased a few years ago to successfully treat her golfer's elbow. I took one look at it and laughed. I asked her how on earth such an odd looking contraption was going to help me. That 'contraption' was an Ultralieve Pro - which I believe is now called Revitive Ultrasound - and I was honestly amazed by the relief it gave me.

I did feel a bit silly (and still sceptical!) gliding it all over my skin because the machine doesn't actually make a noise, nor does it create any sensations at all. It certainly did something though because when I stood up after using it my muscles were no longer tight, swollen or sore. The Ultralieve Pro has been just as effective each and every time I've used it since. Yes, my muscles still get a bit sore if I overdo it, but nowhere near as sore as they were. I'm very grateful to my Mother for suggesting I try it (she doesn't know it yet but she's not getting it back!) It's super easy to use, albeit a bit messy with the residual gel, and I can honestly recommend it to anyone who might be experiencing similar problems.

It really works!! – The other day I stepped on a large sharp rock that bruised the sole of my foot leaving a very painful lump causing me to limp. After about 5 days of treatments I’m now pain free and can walk again. I’m continuing treatment for another couple of days. But the lump has almost dissipated completely. Very helpful so much so that I HAD to come here to let people know this is fair dinkum and no hoax or scam but truly works. Show details ·  1

Good product – It helps my knees and lower back pain and inflammation. Need to switch to highest output for 10 to 15 minutes for best results. I would recommend it to people with mild pain.

fixed many problems.highly recomend – I originally purchased it for my knee but it didn't help a lot because I had bone on bone so a knee replacement was obvious. BUT the ultralieve aided tremendously in my recovery.. I used it after several post surgery on the muscles not directly over the scar. I have better than 90deg bend with good use of my knee. ALSO i battled with pantar… Read more ·  1

fascitis for 4 months and was on crutches. the podiatrist wanted to sell me $800 orthitics, the physio wanted to continue with the $60 sessions and the doctor wanted to give me more drugs all saying it would take a year for me to get better. I had 2 cortisone injections.

the 5th month i remembered the ultralieve and thought i would try it on my foot...

IT WORKED .. after 3 uses then rubbing with FLEXALL and going to bed.... I CAN WALK

ok. its not a miracle.. but i have no pain unless i over do it for the day but i use the machine maybe once a week...

ALSO i pulled a muscle in my shoulder blade while cleaning... again it worked..

After only a few days I've noticed a big improvement – I was diagnosed with tennis elbow (tendinitis), a tear in my tendon and early degenerative changes, I've even got a small chipped bone in my elbow, and when coupled with shoulder bursitis on the same side and problems with degenerative changes in my neck, you can imagine what my pain level is. Pain killers only work if they knock me out but that's… Read more

no easy way to live so I researched a drug free alternative. The Ultralieve is working wonders even though I was sceptical at first. If you follow the instructions, just it carefully and attentively, and use it for conditions for which it's recommended, you shouldn't be disappointed. In an highly satisfied and have noticeably less pain after 2 days. Bear in mind, you may not be able to reach certain parts of your body by doing it yourself so find a loved one for pamper sessions.

Really hoped it would work – I bought the Ultrasound massager from Myer (for those who are curious, I paid $180) for my shoulder and legs since I stand all day working. I have been using it for everyday after work since I got them but it does not help to relieve any muscle pain. I've read a numerous positive reviews on the internet before I decided to buy but after reading… Read more

them for a second time, it seems like its from the people who get paid or work for the company (alot of users who gave this 4-5 stars have only 1 or 2 reviews on their 'inactive' account). Also the unit requires a special gel (costs about $30) which only lasted 2 weeks of everyday usage. This is one of my biggest impulse buying mistake.

I strongly recommend you buy something else if you want to relieve just everyday muscle aches.

Strengthen – Assorted injuries over 9 years and so glad I tried this ultralieve... Not enough said about it at all as practitioners of all sorts don't mention it for a good reason... It means less visits to them... This is used all over parts of my body with such relief that I don't need to have to wait to see chiro or its weekend... A self-treat yourself ultrasound... I only wish it had a recharge... so no lead... but what a secret...

It seems to help – I bought it to use on my Mother's Bursitis on her shoulder. So far it seems to have made an improvement. I use it daily for 10 mins and find it extremely easy to use. I am careful of the cord as some people have said they have had problems with the cord. Later I would like to try it for a family member with fibromyalgia

It works – I am a health professional myself, It essentially cured my tennis elbow, a pain I couldn't shake in the side of my foot, and helped a lot with a thumb injury. It is hard to use on yourself for things like back pain, especially if you are sore and can't reach the affected area.

Replaced under warranty – I was using it every few days to assist with post run recovery on my legs. I was very happy with it until it became faulty when the power cord became loose from the base of the unit after 4 months of regular use. Terry White chemist in kipparing did a great job of getting it replaced under warranty.

it works – I have had this device for over a year now, and as a tradie I am constantly using my hands. My joint in my thumb gets quite sore. I have found that using ultrasound relieves pain. and treatment with this product relieves pain and reduces swelling.

It doesn't cure it but it is preferable to surgery.

The price of the gel is way too much, but I have found ultrasound jel on eBay a lot cheaper and it does the same job as the jel sold by ultralieve pro.

Make sure that the joiner plug is pushed right in or it won' t work and it may give you the impression that it is faulty. relives pain expensive Jel

Surprisingly good! – After surgery 5 weeks ago, I still have pain in the front of my shoulder. I bought the ultralieve in the hope of getting some of the relief I receive from physio. I have used it for two days, twice a day and am already getting less pain. I am so glad I bought it. Worth my money :-) Quick and easy to use Didn't radiate heat like I thought it would

Worth the money – I bought the Ultralieve in a last ditch attempt to help with scar tissue build up in my foot. breast hard and tender to the touch. Two treatments and the breast is soft and painfree. The Ultralieve has definitely worked for me. I'm not so sure about general pain relief - my daughter used it on a muscle sprain in her back but said it did nothing - but it seems to work wonders on scar tissue build up. Easy to use, worked amazingly well

It Delivers – I can't believe how good this product is. I travel a lot and love its lightweight portability. Within a few days of using, my shoulder felt heaps better - pain was reduced and movement was improved. I loaned it to a colleague for her ACL and she decided to purchase one for herself. Does what it says. Lightweight. Portable. Easy to use. Cord won't fit into carry bag.

Buyer beware – I would caution anyone against buying the Ultralieve Pro Ultrasound. After a few months of normal use the cord separated from the body of the device, causing it to stop working. Expensive but does what it says it will – I was apprehensive about the cost but have found that the product lived up to my expectations and is a LOT cheaper than $65 each time I was going to the "Physio". is a "Home" therapeutic device and as such is not designed to be a substitute for professional care. I bought it to treat an ACL problem in my knee and after about 4 weeks of daily treatment the problem has been resolved and I am cycling 50 km again without problems. I have also used the device to treat shoulder/rotator cuff problems and had good relief. It does what it claims to be able to do despite the inital expesive outlay. The "House" brand of gel IS expensive but I only use enough to keep the treatment surface lubricated. There are other gels that are less expensive but not all chemists handel them.

Ultrlieve works- the GEL is bad – I bought the Ultralieve online. Prices varied from $280.00 down to $160 from a pharmacy in NSW which also supplied an extra large bottle of gel included in the price. Yes it feels a little cheaply made but it seems to work. I've been using it on my shoulder for about a week now and have experienced relief and a little improved movement in that… Read more ·  6

time.

The gel, however, is a blatant ripoff. It states on the container to use a "liberal" amount. The only difference that makes is that you USE more! At any rate no matter how much you use, it dries out during treatment and you have to apply more. A "clever" marketing ploy.

The stuff contains carboxyvinyl polymer (a plastic) which is used in hair gel to stiffen your hair. Well it does the same to your skin. (Imagine rubbing liquid plastic into your skin) My skin became dry and rough over the area I was treating and it made no difference that I washed it off. The tube of gel out of the box has only lasted a week but I now use ALMOND OIL which keeps my skin pliable and I don't need to keep applying it . I only need a small amount to cover a large area and it remains moist, still enabling the ultrasound to do its job. Don't believe the hype about the "specially formulated gel" If you really feel you have to use gel, buy a different cheaper brand from your local pharmacy.

February 14th 2015 Update:

With chronic shoulder pain and back pain, I've used this just about every night since buying it. I still stand by what I've said previously. It's never failed me and it helps with my pain considerably. It isn't a cure but why pay some physio therapist to do what you can do yourself in your own home? Still using rosehip oil as sound waves preferably need a medium to travel through and that does the job quite well, better than the provided "special" gel. You don't need copious amounts of it either. It works Gel makes your skin dry- use almond oil instead

Personal Ultralieve Pro – Having rheumatoid arthritis I experience continous pain, the simply things can became the hardest. immediately went out to purchased it. This Ultra Pro is everything it says, it's so easy to use, makes no noise, so relaxing, has different settings, I could rave on and on. I totally recommend this for even mild aches and pain, as well as for the more serious such as rhematoid arthritis. It left me feeling relaxed and over the first week, started feeling a lot less pain. Now when I ache too much and my tablets not working as much as they should, I simply use this

Don't believe what you see on TV or packaging! – This item was bought for my wife who suffers from muscle pain. What you don't get told - or shown clearly - is the fact that it uses a power adapter that must be plugged into a wall outlet. "hidden" from the viewer and not spoken about. Even on the box it shows the unit as a stand alone hand piece - no cord attached in any of the images. Disappointing.

Not a "portable" unit as depicted in TV advert and on the box - needs "mains" power with the supplied adapter.

The Quiet Achiever – This home therapy machine is very much a quiet achiever. I bought mine to treat a pulled hamstring and after a few days of use there was a significant improvement. around the injured area and heal scar tissue. The Ultralieve can be set to run for 5, 10 or 15 minutes after which an LED indicator goes out and it automatically turns off. If there is poor contact between the tranducer head and the skin it will start flashing.

The gel included lasted me about 15 sessions and it can be replaced with any ultrasound gel. Gel is gel it's main job is to transmit sound waves and cool the area between the skin and the machine, although some gel's are better for sensitive skin and specific purposes.

This product worked well for me and I recommend it as a cheaper alternative to expensive physio visits, although the physio will have a professional ultrasound machine and be more qualified to treat the injury. Worked well. Effective and reliable. Initiated the healing of my hamstring injury Slightly cheap plastic feel. Very quiet, hard to tell whether it's on or off. Having to look at the LED and listen when the time is up. It pays to have a countdown timer on the side when using this machine.

A good product but could be improved – I thought the price of $178 was high considering the simplicity of the product. Perhaps due to low demand.
