Hillmark Cerapol Questions & Answers
VerifiedFirst time buyer of Cerapol and Ceraseal . My question about *Ceraseal is :what does it mean " not to be applied to dial marks , prints and signs" please be specific as English is my second language.
It means you shouldn't apply it to the writing on the glass cooktop.
Hi Steve, Modern induction cooktops have dial marks that are etched into the surface. This makes them strong and difficult to remove with gentle cleaners like Cerapol or Ceraseal. But older models often had dial marks that were painted or stuck on the surface. These painted marks can be damaged by some cleaning products. Some companies still use painted marks. To find out what type of marks your cooktop has, it is best to contact the company that made it. Selleys Help & Advice Team
The Ceraseal Cleaner is the hardest product to use if you have health problems with your hands/ wrists/shoulders. There is no way a 78 year old Lady can clean it with just a couple of drops as mentioned by “Kam in Sydney” but I needed my husband to use a lot of strength to clean it. In fact I won’t use it anymore I agree fully with “Not happy Jan”. I will just use my Hotplates on the Patio. We are very disappointed in these products and being on a pension they don’t just cost $1 a bottle

Can I use Ceraseal on stainless steel cook top.... and also on the tiled splashback. Any insights appreciated as just spent ages cleaning the cooktpop
While cleaning the cooktop with a cerapol wipe I accidently turned on one of the elements. It left a white stain on the glass like it cooked on. Can anyone tell me how to get the mark out?
Cerapol works wonders on my black glass splashbacks and my glass top stove. I have a gloss black grand piano which gathers dust and when wiped down streaks remain. Do you think I could use Cerapol on that without causing any damage?
Does cerapol come in any larger container. Recently I tried multiple products to clean the windows on a vehicle that had been parked under a tree for several years and the screen just would not clean then I thought about your my stove cleaner it is just amazing the glass looks like new and now have tried it on my outside area where it underground sprays hit the glass at times and has brought them up like new as well. Now it works so well thought might be able to buy in larger quantity containers Thank you Sandra.
Yes it was me you are quite welcome to contact me Thank you Sandra
Is cerapol safe to use with a septic system
I have been using Ceravolo for quite some time, recently. Purchased a new tube to find that it was very runny with a consistency of oil. Purchased another from a different store which was the same. Has there been a bad batch or has the recipe changed?
What happes if you use ceraseal on dial marks and prints and how do you avoid them?
Can I use Cerapol on a fiberglass shower?
Whlich Shops sell/ - can I buy this product on Northern Beaches Sydney?

How to use Cerapol?
they are on the pack.... need to add elbow grease though
Hi, Why does Cerapol Ceramic Glass & Induction Cooktop Cleaner no longer come with the white pad around the top section of the tube. I have purchased a scraper and that works well to remove any spills on the glasstop. However, the current version of the tube is just the liquid and does not remove marks such as the place where the saucepan sat while cooking. It was a perfect product before and the current version is substandard. If you have any of the old version left I'm happy to purchase 24 of them.
I am missing the applicator too - I also find saucepan rings too ,sooo disappointing
Where can I purchase Cerapol Ceramic glass & induction CREAM cooktop cleaner. Supermarkets (Woolworths) only sell the liquid which seems not to work as well as the cream did. Also the liquid is very frustrating because before using you have to use a skewer to unblock the tube as liquid sets at tube top.
Where in South Africa can I buy it?
Can you use Cerapol on stoves inside.
Can you use cerapol for fireplace glass
Can you clean the inside of the oven with Cerapol cleaner. Thanks. Lynne
Hi Lynne Don’t think it’s for oven. Glass cooktop only.
Good question - keenly following.
Is cerapol suitable to clean stainless steel?
I haven’t used it on stainless steel but don’t see why it wouldn’t be OK. Maybe do a spot test first just to check.
The label says that it's for ceramic glass and induction cooktops.
Personally when I've owned a stainless steel cooktop in the past I've simply used Jif.
When it says do not use ceraseal cleaner and the protector on dial marks, prints and designs do you mean the power function on/off areas and the circular booster zones? I have just installed a whi944 induction cook top.
Yes - cerapol ok for stainless.... suggest dont use jiff
re my comment on stainless, the SMEG technician told us to use. and we have done once - great results. He also said dont use jiff
