We paid $6,000 to Hojjati Art Flooring for the supply and installation of hybrid flooring on a fixed-price basis. Prior to payment, we were advised installation would take 1–1.5 days, any levelling would be minor, and the installers could work around furniture. Based on this advice, we scheduled installation for 14 January 2026 and made… Read more
significant housing arrangements.
No site inspection was conducted before deposits were taken. On 13 January 2026, the installer attended and advised the entire apartment required levelling at an additional cost of approximately $5,000, and that installation would take 8–9 days or require us to vacate the apartment.
This was completely inconsistent with what was represented prior to purchase. We advised we could not proceed and requested a refund.
Since then, we have received no substantive response, the listed business phone number appears disconnected, and a promised call from the owner did not occur. A formal complaint has now been lodged with NSW Fair Trading.
Based on our experience, we would strongly recommend ensuring a full site inspection and written scope confirmation before making any payment.
We ordered a rug which had to be cut and edged. We were told it would take 2 weeks. Six weeks later after unanswered emails and phone calls, we had to physically go back to the store. Was told it would be the following week. Told another 3 weeks.… Read more
The rug came the wrong size and only edged on one side - so looks completely odd. Contacted Fair trading and it's safe to say the company is VERY well known to them. Do not buy from here. Run a mile
Follow-up · Will never buy from this company again
Avoid Hojjati. We paid $6,350 for a July 2025 carpet install. That never proceeded. Despite a 20 Aug complaint to [Name Removed] (owner; legal name [Name Removed]) & [Name Removed] (GM) and a 27th August refund request (after 3 cancellations), we received no response. We’ve incurred storage and rescheduling costs, and the old carpet is… Read more
aggravating allergies.
A store visit was made on 28th August to follow up on the refund. At [Name Removed]’s urging (the store manager and responsible for installations), a final rescheduled date was agreed in writing with a full-refund guarantee if 11 Sept 2025 was missed. Not only did they miss the date. But, two days before that installation date, when asked for an update, we were asked to pay the remaining balance—despite our written agreement that final payment is after installation. We refused. And, as of today, there’s no response to our final refund request email and text, no refund, no accountability. A complete breach of written agreement and trust.
Do not risk your time or money with Hojjati ABN 86 641 989 228.
See photos of the order invoice and the carpet we’re trying to replace as it’s causing health issues.
Hedi and her team have been outstanding and so very accomodating and helpful, going above and beyond! Their after sales service is out of this world, and all this with a smile! Not to mention, we love our rugs! its been a huge pleasure! Show details
No returned call and so far no rug – I bought and paid for a rug some weeks ago from their shop in the Moore Park Supa Store. I have tried to ring several times, it immediately goes to message, none has been returned. Once I got through to someone who said Frank would call back - he didn’t..
The best service – I had my best experience for my flooring from Hojjati Persian Art Gallery
Good choose – "I’m very happy I chose this place to replace the carpet in my house. They handled everything with the utmost care, even sending someone to inspect the carpet installation quality once it was completed." Show details
Avoid at all costs – Terrible sales service. Forced to pay in full up front was the red flag I should had paid closer attention to! Promises of boards being delivered and installed for weeks and weeks. Held up our renovation considerably. The games they played- not taking our calls, empty promises, shocking service. Not worth the headache- avoid all at costs!
Not recommended, go elsewhere – At Moore Park they have a good range of rugs, but the very same we since have seen elsewhere cheaper. Lots of [Content Removed], lots of promises on laying which were postponed FOUR times, no apologies, just more [Content Removed]. We had several rugs joined, but the layer was not the smartest either, I had pointed out a phone line at a point at the skirting but he managed to cut it ! Show details
Every professional job – Brought hybrid flooring service was excellent ! Highly recommended! Also brought a beautiful rug to match the flooring Show details
Great silk rug very cheap – I bought a silk rug that sells elsewhere for above 50 grand here for less than half that price. Very happy and great quality. Very pleased Show details
Still not finished! – 9 weeks since my flooring was laid but edging is still not finished Did not give me enough information about the process causing much more costly layout of money and had to move out for 5 days!! They got ALL their money up front but don't do anything about finishing the job. Do NOT use these people. Show details
Unprofessional – My partner and I purchased a new home in Sydney 8 months ago and in order to give our new place a fresh look we decided to replace the old carpet with floor boards from Hojjati. The boards came up to $9.000.- and when it was time for installation we learned that we had to fork out another $3.000.- because the existing underfloor was uneven. So far… Read more
so good.
Not long after installation we noticed that several spots on our new floor started to get bouncy. It felt as if you were walking on a sponge and one floor board started to buckle up. After we contacted Hojjati regarding this issue we have been told that the new floor needed time to settle. The problem unfortunately didn’t resolve. After several further contact attempts we eventually had their floor installer come to our place for an inspection. They poked numerous little holes in the floor just to tell us that we apparently have a moisture issue under our floor which is causing the problem. They also took some of the skirting board off and removed it which is now laying in our living room and nothing ever to be heard again from Hojjati. Until today we regret that we have purchased our new floor from them as it has caused nothing but frustration let alone the $12.000.- we have spent in hope to give our new place a great new look.

Top Quality Wooden Floors and very Pedantic Installation – We purchased our hard wooden floors for the past three times we renovated our new houses. We can honesty say their flooring is top quality, hard to scratch, Modern and looks superb. What more Can you ask for. On top of that, the staff service was by far better than most of the shops. They are friendly, reasonably priced, and will go above and… Read more
beyond to help you get what you want. There are a lot of flooring shops out there but This one is a hidden gem.
Excellent service – I was looking to install floorboards in an investment property so not looking for a top of the line product but something that is good quality, hard wearing and not too expensive. Was pointed in the direction of hybrid floorboards and I couldn't be happier. The whole process from the sale to installation was seamless. Highly recommended. Show details

A really good experience, + great quality – They guys from Hojjati did a top job from sales service to installation when we bought our new floor. The installers were skilled, polite and helpful, and Sam kept us informed and delivered on promises. We would highly recommend them. Show details
In love with my floors! – Sam was excellent with communication, even during lockdown. The installers were professional and polite and did a fantastic job. I get comments all the time. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer. Show details
Satisfied Customer – Did a good job for a Southern Highlands client. Travelled down to measure up , fitted in with our renovation schedule changes and laying of board and carpet was well done. Show details
Excellent service and advice from start to finish – I wanted to buy a rug and Sydney was in lockdown. I sent photos of the area to Heidi and she sent me through photos of rugs she thought would suit my room. She gave good advice, was patient and she was spot on with her suggestions. Very happy with the service and the rug I chose. It is excellent quality.

Good selections of products. Great service. Reasonable prices – Very friendly staff. When we came in we weren't sure about the selection, go with carpeting or timber floor. Their staff guided us to the right direction and we chose to go ahead with timber floor. We got what we wanted, perfect selection. Show details
Very poor customer service and installation – I ordered a floating floor from this company and what they delivered looked nothing like their sample. The floor boards were all different colours and mismatched badly on the floor. They tried to get out of it by saying their invoice which I signed said there may be a 'natural colour variation'. However, there is a difference between some colour… Read more
variation and having a floor that looks like it's spliced together by all kinds of odd bits of woods and that cost $13K for a small two-bedroom house. It took about two months of very stressful negotiations to get them to come to replace some of the mismatched colours. When they did they asked me to pay for half of the new wood even though I had $1.5k credit with them that I didn't use for a floor installation in my kitchen which I donated to them for this purpose. I ended up refusing to pay any more because they sprung this on me just before they came to fix it where they previously said the job was under warranty and that they would fix it. Initially, there was some improvement in some areas of the floor. However, now about 4 months later the whole floor is creaking really loudly all over the house. I believe this is because the installers had not levelled the floor properly before laying the boards. This job is still under warranty but the thought of having to deal with them again is just too stressful. They make customers pay in advance so there is very little leverage for people who are not happy with the outcome. Be wary of this company.
Fantastic job! – Had Persian Art Gallery install an oak floor in my apartment today and I couldn’t be happier with their work. Had read some negative reviews and I was a bit concerned, but the workmanship is spot-on. Very pleased! Show details
Refusal to refund deposit – I went in to get a refund for my floor deposit. [name removed] said there was a typo on the signed invoice and that it should say the store can keep 20% of the final price not the very clearly stated 20% of the deposit amount and refused to issue a refund. Three times he has said he will speak to his manager when I’ve called to say I want to come in to get my deposit. This is very unethical. I should have my money back already.
Worst installation ever – Worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. Had both carpet and floor boards laid. It is a disaster. The won’t come back and fix it. I spent over $20,000 and they forced me to pay in advance or advised at the last minute they wouldn’t come. I tried to cancel but Sam wouldn’t return my deposit. I should have walked away at that point but… Read more
Sam said ‘trust me’. What a mistake. Floor boards are chipping and the skirting that I paid for has not been completed. The carpet has been poorly laid with edges lifting and joins really obvious. Do yourself a favour and Run people!!!!!! Sam is a con man and can’t be trusted. He seemed nice at first but once he got our money he turned. Do not trust him unless you want to throw your money away.
Excellent Service and Quality Flooring+ Installation – I engaged Hojati Persian art Galley to lay vinyl plank flooring in my kitchen and an engineered timber floor in the lounge room + new carpeting in 3 bedrooms. The price was competitive, quality of materials was great and the end result exceeded my expectations. I have no hesitation whatsoever in endorsing this company. Sam, Robert and his team +… Read more
Abbas were very helpful throughout the process and all of the installers were both efficient and courteous. Highly recommended.
