Fraudulent company, do not trust - booked a car, arrived at the desk to collect the car and there were no cars available. They took my money, I have been in constant contact with them and they still have not transferred me my money back for the service that they were unable to provide.

After the trip, after I returned home and had to pay for another car through another company. I contacted them again to receive service and a refund because the delay and the fact that there were no cars were out of my control. The representative initially promised me a refund immediately. After a few days, I received a message that I was at fault for not picking up the car and therefore there was no refund. The company's service was beyond criticism, contacting them for any reason that is not a new order is bordering on impossible. No one gets back to me, there is no option available to speak to a manager, and the chat representatives are nice but can only provide service for new orders. In short, they know how to take money but not handle problems. I don't recommend anyone go near them.
Finding a vehicle was easy. Trying to make the reservation, the website was very glitchy. I then tried to edit the booking but encountered the same problem. “Help “ is an AI bot that is no help plus recommended I contact the hire company directly. I did this, however they could not adjust the dates as the booking was made by Holiday Autos. End result: I was charged for one day more hire than I needed or used. I gave up trying to contact the company. I would STRONGLY recommend booking directly with the hire company. It is a lot less hassle and stress. I will NEVER use Holiday Autos again and definitely do not recommend them. They scored a day’s rental money from me at the cost of all future bookings. There is zero customer service. Only con was that nobody told us that the gas is within this offer prepaid and we had to ask three times how is it with the gas in the car. But actually we are not sure, whether the problem was with holidayautos or guy at hertz, we had car rented from, since he was super messy and almost gave us reservation of someone else.
This does not cancel all of the other bad reviews and they may be incompetent and hard to communicate with, yet I wanted to write this review to comfort anyone, who has rented the car and now is reading this site before actual rent and is freaking out as we were. The experience can be actually fine.
We had some kind of mystery bundle and got 2022 ford escape with less than 1000 miles in total. Hope also you will have good experience as we got in the end.

There we agreed on that he would meet us on our departure day, 1-1-2020, before our flight at the same place to pick us again to the airport, the same way we came from the airport. We did exactly what we agreed on together. We waited beside the office 45 minutes, which was locked with t.v on. No answer, more than 7 calls on his phone numbers that say 24/7 active lines and I sent more than 2 messages. Then we had to take the decision to head off to the airport and parked the car in airport parking. 6 hours after, the employee called us to know location of the car without apologizing even. After 2 hours Green Motion company sent email to me saying at they charged me 73,80 EUR as penalty for at the vehicle has not been left in the designated place. At the same time, Amount of 74 EUR was also deducted from my credit card balance av. I tried to contact them but they didn’t answer. Then I reported a complaint (PL485184440, case: 01341108) to Holiday Autos site which after one and half month said at they can’t do anything! Now I will report my bank for at I have all documents that support my case.

Terrible company – After landing at Lanzarote airport there was no car fr us, no replacement and no help and to date no refund, i've been told it needs reviewing and will hear from them in 20 working days (1 month). Never again – I booked a car with OK Mobility via Holiday Autos and feel misled. They didn't advise us of additional fees for taking our hire car out of the country at the time of booking, which increased the price by almost 50%. They also didn't share information with OK, which delayed the pickup process, we didn't receive the car we booked either, and the reservation email listed the wrong pickup address. Show details

So rude, refused to help and just a horrible experience. Pro scammer. Do not use – We rented through their website and booked a car from Centauro upon pickup, they refused to give a car to me because I was planning to travel to an island. Centauro told us that they note this in their cancellation accordingly instead they noted as a 'No Show'. After writing to Holidayautos customer services two times, they still refused to refund us.
Bad boy – Booked a car weeks ago before my holiday. Was told it would be confirmed later. Did not hear anything until less than 24 hours before my departure that my car rental is confirmed. Contacted the service centre that I already booked another car and requested cancellation. It wanted to charged me full rental if I cancelled within less than 48 hours. Just unbelievable! The business belongs to rubbish bin!

the desk where we picked up the car( company name Surprice) there are so many players, it's a mess and many pockets profit from your single booking. Make sure you read all the fine print. The players in Milan were well rehearsed to take as much as they could from us, without blinking. Even though the car pick up place is in the middle of nowhere around the airport farmlands, don't be shy to walk away from this and get another booking at the airport. A complete wrought.

lied that whatever they were doing about it, their policy is to drag the claim until the customer forgets the topic. The only contact with this intermediary is via chat, only then you can maintain correspondence by e-mail. Holiday Autos is a frivolous company that approaches the client in an unprofessional manner, if nothing happens, it is ok, but in the event of a complaint, they are not able to defend their client.
This company is fraudulent. We booked our car and paid from Australia to be picked up in London. They had no car – Terrible and dishonest and we paid for a car that we didn’t ever get
NEVER EVER USE THEM – The worst ever, never use them, they will charge you extra $$$$ because it is not Australian based company. They have charged an extra international transaction fee without disclosure. It took six weeks to refund the original cancellation without refunding the extra exchange international fees!!!
Thieves – I arrived in Ireland, from Australia, to find that the car I paid for (from Holiday Autos, via the supplier Sixt) wasn't available. After eventually speaking to someone on the website chat, agent Hana, she said you won't get a refund for 23-25 business days,absolutely ridiculous when you received my money immediately. After being on the phone for over an hour and panicking over not having a car reserved, I agreed to rebook another car and apply my payment. Instead, THEY CHARGED MY CARD AGAIN, overdrawing my credit card limit. They apologized and promised the finance department would call me. I was on the phone over 2 hours. 11/19, shocker, no call. Instead, I wake up to an email that they TRIED TO CHARGE ME A THIRD TIME, it didn’t go through since they already overdrew the card. I called again to beg them to remove the hold from my card. They insisted they did not know the merchant ID number, the manager didn’t know the number, and they could not connect me with finance. 1.5 hours later no resolution they told me I would get an email. Finance is “investigating “ the issue, and said they will let me know if I’m due a refund. After almost 4 hours on the phone, 3 emails with screen shots, they still can not take 5 minutes to call my card company to remove the hold. I’m traveling in 1 day and have no available credit to book a car if I can even find one now. Thank you for ruining my week and likely my entire vacation. while the plane was waiting to taxi down the runway... Holiday Autos requires the renter to show up at the specified time to pick up the vehicle. Even though passengers on flights cannot control when the plane takes off or lands, there is no ethical responsibility in place by Holiday Autos to hold a renters vehicle at the pick up destination, and there is a policy in place to not refund a rental payment... Do you see where I'm going with this? I reserved the vehicle. I paid for the vehicle. I was late by 2 hours through no fault of my own. I communicated continuously with the manager at Holiday Autos of the status of my flight. Holiday Autos rented my vehicle to another customer and refused to refund me the rental fee I paid for a vehicle I did not get to use. They double dipped on one vehicle at the consumers cost due to their unethical policies. Companies like this should never be allowed to operate. This is theft via company policy.

Reneged on their Fully-Refundable booking guarantee – In February 2020 I made 2 separate bookings and paid for May 2020 USA car hire, expressly noting that bookings were cancellable and fully-refundable up to 1 day prior to pickup. patiently waited one month with no refund coming through. I got in touch with Customer Service and complained - I was told it would take another month due to CV-19 ! What a load of bunkum - as far as I can see this should have been a simple refund as I doubt they had paid any money whatsoever to the Hire Car companies providing the booked vehicles. I have resorted to lodging disputes with my credit card company to get a refund via a chargeback .....and I'm still waiting for that. My advice is to stay well away from these people who are happy to take your money but unwilling to fulfill their refund policy which they proudly trumpet as a reason to use them rather than their competitors. paid in full before pick up, this is normal per the conditions on their website. Once we got to the airport, they asked again for a deposit, also normal. We took out full insurance for the car as well. When we returned the car they refunded the money into my account and we got on the plane home. While we were on the plane they took the money out again! (600)
I was in constant contact trying to get the money back from the Maggiore Car Rental, they eventually admitted they double charged us, I thought the money would be returned but they were ignoring my emails so I then contacted Holiday Autos. They were understanding and realised the mistake on Maggiore’s behalf, but have done nothing to fight for me. This is just blatant stealing from consumers! Do yourself a favour and book direct with a respectable company who will look after you and not rip you off whilst admitting it too. I have email proof of Maggiore admitting their mistake, yet no reimbursement.

On 25.9 we had the pickup at 1200. Due to unpredictable flight delays and suitcases pickup problems in bcn Airport (we are a large grupe) we came to the Goldcar counter in BCN Airport at 1900. Goldcar announced to me the they see the reservation but it's locked and canceled because the "Holiday autos" company reported of "no show" and the reservation is canceled. See attached the printout of Goldcar system for no show. The first thing I did is to talk with "Holiday auto" to help and resolve the situation. They told me that it's my fault and nothing to do. Apparently holiday auto has 6 hours of pickup window or its canceled and no show. Nothing of that is mentioned in the voucher. It's incredible to me that the voucher is only valid for 6 hours and in case of late in few hours as common in flights you cancel the voucher and don't assist. As a result of the "holiday auto" I was needed to order the car again from the Goldcar counter at the price of 291 euro!!! See attached Goldcar Receipt. I had no other choice because I was with all my family, elder and young kids after hole day of flights. Because of "holiday cars" cancelation I was put in a no other way situation.
Customers be warned – To potential future customers to stay clear from this website. There appears to be some sort of scam with the insurance policy. Refused to refund payment – Refused to refund any of the payment after the car hire was cancelled at the last minute. They pointed to an obscure condition in the T&Cs to justify the decision.

Since the pick-up agency was on an island, and in order to be sure that I could take the rental car out of the island, I sent an email to Holiday Autos before the 24-hour cancellation period to be sure that I could do it. Holiday Autos answered that there was no problem taking the car out of the island. The day before, I called Avis (which I had a hard time getting in touch with) who confirmed that it was completely impossible to get the car out of the island since it was illegal. I sent back several emails to Holiday Autos asking them to join Avis to confirm or deny what they told me in their email. But no feedback from them at all! They did not even bother to contact the rental agency. So I asked for the cancellation of my reservation at no cost since not only did their system let me make an impossible and illegal reservation but also they assured me by mail that there was no problem when I still had the option to cancel the reservation for free. My request for no charge cancellation fees was completely ignored and they charged me an amount equal to the amount of the rental. Because of Holiday Autos, I lost a lot of money and my last week of vacation was completely ruined because I no longer had the car that would have allowed me to carry out the planned program. I had to travel by local bus, which forced me to completely review my program. So, without hesitation, do not rely on those thieves who think only to take your money without worrying about the consequences of their own mistakes!
Poor service – Very poor and mostly unresponsive service. Company refused a refund, although I cancel the booking due to rental place trying to scam me.
