Follow-up · Sprinkler still going strong, works like new still. Water flow is still like the day i bought it, strong and has good coverage of my lawns. I liked it so much I purchased a second for back lawn. Don't know if this helps, but I remove sprinklers when not needed on a daily basis i.e. In the Cooler Months. Also very easy to fix if sprinkler get a little dirt in it, just get a thin sewing needle clean out dirt problem fixed easy.

hear you say but, it’s the quality of the product utter rubbish, all of them. The flow adjusters failed, finger tab broke, now couple more months the spray pattern adjuster change is non-existent. Now today, my “Ezy Grip Multi-Function Watering Gun” just woofed its cookies! - is leaking water continually on every setting; another bin job…. Seriously do not even consider this company for any hose fittings.

The thumb-operated volume knob is very ergonomic and practical. This design could be improved by strengthening the casing or improving QA and factory inspections. Changing the rubber to a long-life, mold-resistant version would solve the tacky/stick/ crumbly rubber issues. please pick a rubber that does not degrade in a moist environment also.
Considering other manufacturers offer 5 year warranties and their items are only slightly more expensive than yours (1 year warranty), I will be looking at warranties as a measure of quality. I don't consider a wand to be a 1 year disposable item.

not rewind the hose once again. I’m probably 6 months outside the warranty period so I’m not going to waste my time with Holman office. Not the best experience last time and pointless buying a 30m hose if you can’t use it. Sometimes alright, but many bad products not fit for purpose – Some of their products (like plain polypipe) seem ok, but I have had multiple shockers with Holman irrigation components which reflect really incompetent specifying, buying, quality control, or all three. "precise water delivery". In reality some occasionally drip at 0.5l/h while others are streaming out at 5l/h. Inconsistency is appalling compared to other drip lines. Another example: their 4mm mini irrigation pipe barbs (off white colour) are not UV stabalised. They have a 1-year guarantee for a reason. I have similar Pope components that have been out in the sun over 20 years. By comparison the the holman 4mm joiners are all cracking and blowing out- at huge labour cost. $5 of joiners have probably cot over $2000 in labour and wasted water. I don't know why Bunnings supplies this stuff, and none of the competitors.
Poor quality – Purchased 4 hose retractable reels and 3 have failed, and they weren’t cheap! The more I use them the slower they work and then fail. Would recommend another brand. A few years old but that should not matter.

Follow-up · Have contacted the Holman Helpdesk again as I needed to add a WiFi Extender. Matt from the Helpdesk was able to talk me through the reconnection of the hub & tap timer. I have purchased multiple Holman hose fittings and spray guns and they have all failed within a very short period. Their products, in my experience, are rubbish.

Holman tap/hose fittings are garbage – I replaced the hose/tap connection with another Holman one and found it was hopeless. Checking further I found several older as well as new fittings were the same, When I snap the hose female fitting onto the tap male fitting it leaks then won't come off without serious leverage. I've been in the Handyman game for years and never noticed this before. Made a note to myself and left it in my fittings bin...DONT BUY HOLMAN...ANY OTHER BRAND BUT....

strange justification as the lid is made separately from the unit it fits into. Its not like its a product that is not already made. When I was in Bunnings the other systems made by Holman which had a twist on lid were available separately. So from my view point its just a money grab. Very disappointed and makes me think that if I purchase a Holman product in the future and I need a new washer or attachment that I will be forced to buy a parcel of products. Outdoor lights are absolute rubbish and customer service are no better – My coloured outdoor lights lasted just on 2 years and although I was sent a replacement controller it didn't resolve the issue. So I am left with all these lights and a controller which do not work. The support staff were very unhelpful stating the product worked before leaving the warehouse so there was nothing else they could do. Do not purchase the lighting products from Holman.

A big thank you to support staff – I purchased wifi hub and wx1s had abit of trouble setting up. After contacting the support team mainly Chris she had me sorted out. In all my years of dealing with support for products i have never came across a more helpful, knowledgeable and lovely person to assist me . A huge thanks to Chris in Perth.
Unable to connect hub to wifi – Purchased the Wi-fi Tap timer WX Hub. This looked like the perfect way for me to manage garden watering whilst away on a trip. Unfortunately after numerous attempts at pairing the hub and phone following directions and troubleshooting tips I had to concede defeat. I am not tec savvy, but have managed to pair other bits in past. I returned the product to Bunnings. I am sure for those who can manage the pairing it is a useful tool.

Very good product – I bought this product from Bunnings this morning having bought a Holman three arm sprinkler a few weeks before. I tested the 4 piece unit which consists of a 3 arm spinner, a butterfly spinner and a pop up two single jet large droplet spinner, all cover large area, I am very pleased with this product an certainly recommend it it is very good value for money at $12.00.
Best in the business – From the retractable hose reel my neighbour purchased to my watering system in my yard, holmans products have proven the test. Awesome customer service – Purchased an electric hose reel from Bunnings, it's a great product but the battery failed 10 months later. Called Holman Industries Perth. I had the battery replaced within days and was sent a replacement charger just in case. Excellent customer service, easy return process, you guys are awesome!!
Complete Rubbish – Holman Yardmate hoses are COMPLETE GARBAGE, I don't know how you get away with clamming they have a 7 kink proof rating but crack after a week, I hope someone takes these claims further but i have wasted enough time on your pathetic products...
Exceeded my reasonable expectations – As an almost daily gardener I now buy only Holman gardening products. I recently called them in West Aust (via toll free 1800 no) re a blockage in three year old hose nozzle. The lady, Nadine, was extremely well-informed on their product and instantly said she'd replace it with the current model. About three days later I received the new nozzle. She could not have been more knowledgable and pleasant. Holman for me in future.
