Buy your outdoor setting somewhere else – I purchased an 8 seater outdoor table and chair set from this company on 20th November 2024. It is now the 9th December 2024. At the time of purchase I was informed that the delivery Would occur between 29th November and 2nd December 2024. The chairs were delivered within the delivery period advised at the time of purchase however, my table is yet… Read more
to be delivered. Apparently the third box (my table) has been sitting at the couriers depot since 27th November, which is now 12 days ago. The courier (Hunter Express) have absolutely no interest in being of assistance and have advised me in a very blasé way that they “have asked the drivers to check for overs and our investigations continue”. I have emailed Homecoze on a number of occasion and they continue to give me cut and paste responses about it being a busy time of year and the courier is investigating, blah, blah,blah. I have opened the two boxes that were delivered (which contained the chairs) and out of the 8 chairs, 1 is damaged and cannot be used as the weld between the seat and leg is split, making the chair unsafe and 4 chairs have cosmetic blemishes. I have emailed for a resolution regarding the chairs however, based upon the lack of resolution regarding the missing table, I do not hold out hopes that this entire issue will be dealt with before Christmas which means, my family will have nowhere to sit on Christmas Day. I would also like to note that the blurb on the website mentions that the setting comes with cushions for the chairs. I have not received the cushions. Maybe they are packaged with the table that I am yet to receive.
