Best vacuum I've ever had. I have 2 large dogs and this vac is going on 5 years strong! Gets all the nooks and crannies, all the hair, it's brilliant! Sad they stopped making them! No idea what I'll buy next IF this eventually dies, can't see it happening any time soon though! Still going like the first day I got it Show details

Do NOT recommend and will never get bagless ever again – The vacuum worked first few times then the suction got worse and worse. I thoroughly cleaned and emptied it and always dirt and hair would get clogged in it and no matter how carefully I emptied it it wouldn’t make any difference. The vacuum lost so much suction it wouldn’t even pick up a grain of sand. It was also very difficult and frustrating… Read more

taking it apart to check why it’s not sucking anything and putting it all together again after several attempts. I literally ended up throwing the vacuum out and going back to getting a new bagged vacuum, as sometimes old style devices are better than new ones and I don’t understand why they have bagless ones on the market.

Short life vacuum – We had this vacuum cleaner for 1.5 year and today stop working half way through vacuuming our bedroom. We have a 2 bedroom unit (small) we haven’t use it anywhere else, we have always cleaned the filter. The vacuum literally looks like brand new and of course the guarantee only covers 1 year. Show details

Great vacuum does the job – Love the turbo head on this vacuum. Gets all the pet hair off mats, carpet and lounges change heads and it does tiles just as good. Not overly loud, light and manoeuvres great rarely tips over. Had mine for 5 years and doesn't miss a beat. Just need a new turbo head. Show details ·  1

Game changer for carpet and pet hair – Great price, comes with 4 different heads. Picks up hair (both pet and human) and fluff really well. Light and pretty quiet for a vacuum. Absolute game changer. Show details ·  1

Great for business use & home – This vacuum is great. Has been put to the test and still going strong. Cleans well on all surfaces. The attachments are good quality and work well in all areas. The vacuum has low and easy maintenance. Very good value for money with above average cleaning results. We have used this as a cleaning business and Hoover has done a great build as the components haven't worn or broke after 2+years of consistent weekly use. Thank-you Hoover.  Show details ·  1

Terrible vac, and what’s actually eco about it? – Suction is dreadful, clogs up at the base of the tube all the time, constant filter cleaning required. Hoover have advised bagless vacs need more maintenance and filters need replacing every few months. So, why advertise as an Eco pet vac when the machine can’t seemingly handle the hair of more than 2 small pets, and when the money saved on buying… Read more

bags is spent on new filters, and those filters end up in landfill instead of the bags! Might as well get a bag vac and safe myself the time to constantly clean the filters and order new ones. What a cheat!

We have hard floors, and no carpet, and several small pets. This vac just didn’t cope at all.

Very, very disappointing and frustrating.

worst vacuum I ever owned – I bought the vacuum in January 2019. Shortly after purchasing the head broke. I was sent a generic brand replacement head which only stayed on if I wedged sticky tape in the attachment. This morning the motor burned. Suction was terrible. Do not recommend. Show details

do not recommend – within a few weeks the head broke. I was sent a replacement head (not original and not meant for this vacuum) which falls off at least ten times while vacuuming my house. I have never experienced this with any other vacuum. Show details

Great vacuum but some design flaws – This is my 3rd Hoover. The first was definitely the best. The second- the wheels broke off. This one, so far so good but again- the cord is nowhere near long enough. Have had to add an extension lead. The biggest failing with this one is there is nowhere to store the accessories! Very annoying. Nice & quiet & sucks well. Show details

Just what I need – Great light weight vacuum the turbo head works great at picking up dog and cat fur, easy to empty, the only down fall and why I gave it 4 is the 2 in 1 dust brush it be great if you could lock it so doesn't keep spinning around Update after 3yrs it doesn’t work as good as it did the first year, after replacing 2 filters, 2 turbo heads it now… Read more

Honest opinion – Great suction does the job well. Not easy to clean and can not imagine cleaning it if I did not have a air compressor.Still very happy with it. Good value for the price. Show details

Great price – For the price this is a great affordable vacuum cleaner. Does the job quite well and the suction power is excellent on carpet and hard floors. Has a selection of attachments including a turbo head which is great. Can definitely recommend this little beauty. Show details ·  1

Bad product not worth money – Bought one of these new very recently. Frankly it's junk firstly after first use cord would not rewind properly. The handle keeps falling off the suction pipe or the device on the other end does the same thing. Hoover needed the hoover back to fix the rewind problem no date of return by the retailer. My advice is go for another brand don't consider Hoover Show details

I hate this vacuum cleaner. It sucks 5 hairs & gets stuck & when you try to fix it the dust makes your house messier – If is terrible and doesn’t pick up any hair. Lots of tiny parts that gets hair stuck after 10 minutes of use. I’m so over this product it makes me actually angry. Show details

Lightweight but excellent vacuum cleaner – This vacuum replaced a more expensive unit and is just as good as any other I've used. Does a great job on hard floors or carpet using the appropriate attachments and variable suction. Light enough to carry up and down stairs and easy to empty and clean filters. Great unit for a great price.

Great little vacuum – We use this on hard floors and soft floors, with two inside pets a long haired cat and a shar pei who both lose a lot of fur, this vacuum has been a blessing. Easy to use, and clean. It is pretty powerful for its size and has a nice little turbo sound. Show details

Light, easy and good price – My last vaccum died and I rushed to Godfreys and wanted to buy a good vaccum under $200. I saw this vaccum on special at godfreys and I have a dog with lots of hair all over the house so bought this one. It is great, I love it. Great suction, easy to move around, light and quiet. I recommend it and has a turbo head. Show details

Quieter than I thought – We purchased this as a "stop gap" cleaner whilst we saved for a new Dyson as we already have the Dyson stick and love it so we were going to buy a new Dyson but our other full cleaner died. This was on sale for $99 at Godfreys' so we thought as it had a HEPA filter we thought it worth trying. We have found it excellent for both carpets and… Read more

tiled areas. Very effective at collecting the dirt that gets walked in including sand and pet hair. The adjustable suction control to reduce power when doing tiles areas is an advantage. I did note one person commented on lack of suction maybe they should check where theirs is set at. Filter is easy to clean and clearly visible when it starts getting full.

The best part was the shock of how quite is was compared to our previous cleaner (not a Dyson by the way) I'm not saying its quiet but it is compared to our previous one.

We were so pleased we purchased one for our daughter who had just moved into her new home and the dust from the surrounding new development was everywhere. Her previous one simply did not get all the fine dirt up.

She needed one with a HEPA filter due to family allergies. She is also very happy with its performance and noise level mentioning how stunned she was at the amount of dirt it picked up only a day after she had done a complete vacuum with her previous one.

I believe it was a bargain at $99 but if I was aware of how good it was I may have been willing to pay full price compared to what other brands cost with a HEPA filter.

On another point we live rural residential and the fixed price of $7 delivery was a HUGE bonus as we're approx 80 km from nearest shopping centre.

Great for the price – For the price, it is a good buy. When first bought, I did think it would have a stronger suction but whilst still very good, I do find I have to go over some spots a few times to pick something up. It's very quiet compared to many other vacuums and light weight also. Haven't really had a problem with this vacuum tipping over. Glides quiet well on both carpet and floorboards.  Show details

I love this vacuum! – This is a great vacuum. I got the Hoover Eco Pet for $99 in the after Christmas sales and I could not be more pleased. It’s powerful, light weight and bagless, what more could you want? The turbo carpet attachment is absolutely amazing, I can’t believe how well it worked on my floors!  Show details

Good value for $99 – Good value for being on sale for $99, wouldnt pay the retail of $299 though. Wish the suction was a bit stronger, but overall did a pretty good job! Pulled plenty of cat and dog hair out of the carpet as well as plenty of dust and dirt. Fairly light to move around.  Show details

Don’t waste your money – We bought this vacuum cleaner a year ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. From the turbo head not spinning to loss of suction. Waste of money. I spend ages trying to pick up fluff from the carpet as the suction is so poor and it just pushes the fluff around the carpet.  Show details

Great so far! – We paid $250 for this vacuume at godfreys about a week ago. I absolutely love the turbo head on it, it’s gets everything up off of the carpet floors with ease. For smaller areas and corners I can use the attatchements. Love the colour and design too, great vacuume would recommend. (Better than the Dyson that I paid $400 for!)  Show details

Amazing for the price – I have been renovating my house and needed a cheap vacuum cleaner to pick up sanding dust, nails, bits of plaster etc... Godfreys had this cleaner on sale for $99.00 so I thought bagless, small, if it lasts a couple of months I'll be happy. This little beauty has handled everything I've thrown at it. When its choked with sanding dust, I clean out… Read more

the filters, then (and I don't recommend doing this) wash the filters with a hose and let them dry before putting them back together. Start it up, and away we go again just like new. The attachments are no Miele, but hey you aren't paying $500+ either and this Hoover is a Trojan that just won't die. If you want a bagless solid performer that just keeps on going then this Hoover is the way to go.

Has saved us from drowning in fur – None of our past vacuums have been able to live up to the life of a very fluffy free roaming rabbit and a constantly moulting black lab. This vacuum completely gets rid of ALL hair, is easy to clean and so powerful! We bought it on sale and weren't sure it would work, but it has far surpassed the standard we were hoping for  Show details

Not bad! – I only ever purchased cheap vacuums previously ($50-ish), and decided to get this on sale for 99. I don't own pets, but have very long hair (below hip length). Powerful vacuum, doesn't make the air dusty, great because previous vacuums used to make me sneeze. I'm thinking it's the HEPA filter, which is the major decision behind choosing it. I… Read more

use this every 1 or 2 weeks to do my 2 bed apartment depending if I'm in town that week or not. I never used a vacuum with a clear dust compartment, but it fills up a third to half way with dust and fine debris which I think is a good factor for design!

Doesn't come with suction power adjustment unfortunately so tricky to do rugs. My vacuum also makes an obnoxious sound screaming piglet sound for 60% of the time I use it, which irritates housemates.

Don't waste your money – Doesn't pick up the hair at all even with the turbo head - still heaps of dog hair on the carpet and end up vacuuming at least 3 times a week to keep on top of hair buildup ( I only have 2 dogs that come inside at night). Feels very "plasticy" and not very robust. Power cord is too short- can barely do one room without having to change power… Read more
