Hoover Regal

Absolutely useless product and service from Hoover – Absolutely useless - Within 18months of purchase and still under warranty my Powerhead stopped working and when we tried to contact Godfreys we learnt that they are liquidated now and there is no support from main Hoover at all. Basically Godfreys sold product under Hoover Regal which was Godfreys brand and ripped the customer without disclosing the proper facts.

First Impressions – Brought this Vacuum Cleaner with the diverter yesterday. My Initial reaction is that it is very quiet especially compared to the Dyson which it is replacing. tends to pull the wand to the left and I constantly felt like I was fight with it to keep it centered for better control. The had floor tool seemed to be a lot gentler on the floorboards than the Dysons' manly because of the very soft bristles. It did come with some cute gadgets whether or not I use them remains to be seen. As I have only had this vacuum cleaner a day I am really unable to attest to very much and will update my review when I have had it a little longer. 8.March. My little update. This cleaner I am lost for words. It is still pulling so much dirt out of my carpets everyday. I am glad nobody is here when I clean the carpets they would be horrified. Would I recommend this cleaner in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Vacuum! – I have used this vacuum on carpeted and tiled floors. It is light and easy to use. The Powerhead tool works great on the plush carpet and the hard floor turbo tool as well as the combination floor tool works great on the tiles. I also tried the combination floor tool on the carpet and it worked great too! The best vacuum I've owned – The power head almost sucks dirt up from the Earth's core! I can't think of how else to explain how good it is. Well worth it's price. Does wonders on upholstery and all floor surfaces. Show details ·  1

Absolute Garbage – Brought this vacuum for $1k last August from Godfrey, the bags do not seal properly and every time I use the vacuum I have to get the old vacuum out to clean inside as there is dust and crude all through the vacuum. that Hoover sl*ts out their name to the highest bidder and when they go under, Hoover will not help you. Funnily this was NEVER disclosed when I paid $1k for this vacuum. Now I'm suck with a useless piece of plastic still under warranty. Hoover you suck. DO NOT BUY A HOOVER.

It sucks...because it does not have suction – We have always had Dyson. We had two, over thirty years. lots of fur and sand, which we told the store person. I have gone back to Dee Why multiple times, saying it’s THE WORST vac I have ever had and want to swap it for a Dyson. He said for me to come in every month,to get it serviced. So I drive 45 min each month. It’s beyond a joke. Do not buy this vac. It’s expensive and is inefficient, to say the least.

Completely Useless! – I had buyers remorse after a couple weeks of using this machine. Was told by the Godfreys salesman "this is a Dyson killer!" but this can't even pick small bits of grass up off carpet, and that's with the power head. The hard floor heads just push the dirt around. The filters need cleaning after every use otherwise the suckling power drops dramatically. Spent over $1k on this noisy hunk of junk. I really wish i bought a Dyson.  Show details

The Hoover Regal is Brilliant – I bought the Hoover Regal after blowing up a Miele a Dyson and a Vax Pet Blade. I go through vacuum cleaners like nobody's business. machine is amazing. Yes it was expensive, but the amount of cleaners I have gone through in the last 4 years would have been twice the price and some. So happy to finally have a cleaner the picks up husky glitter with ease!!!

Hoover Regal the Best Product – I always buy high-end hoover products, and this time we purchased hoover regal bagless. I'm so amazed the way it works. My home is now completely dust-free and pleasant to stay and breath fresh air with any dust. would work the same if not better than a dyson v9 stick vacuum...it doesn't even come to a Dyson! The plastic parts are flimsy, they break crack to easily and there's just about no suction! The power head is useless aswell. I do not recommend the Hoover Regal bagless vacuum.

Average without the turbo head – Ive bought this in NZ after my 25year old Vax blew up. Was expensive at nearly 1k. Honest opinion. they will need replacing and are expensive. So for me. I wanted to get away of buying bags, however never gave replacement costs of filters a thought. Should have asked. Comes with a huge amount of attachments, some of different sizes. Whish they were more standard sized to fit on handle. So my next vacuum (hopefully after another 25 yrs) will have bags. Easier to dispose off n more cost effective in the long run.

Finally got my carpet cleaned – Look, I've bought new everytime. I won't name names because that's not what this about, but always a let down. Works for a wee k then struggles for a year. out of my carpet. Without the motorized head, it cleans like any other vacc, only quieter. I put the new head on it, and talk about shake things up. We also bought the dust separator that fits in the pipe below the handle, and it works. We are happy with our purchase, and happily recommend the Regal to all who can afford it. Pricing really is the only gripe, and yet we worked out how many vaccs and parts we've had to buy over 5he years and this, seems to be a good deal.

My exact words Everything was copied and pasted but I've been through the exact same, it's like the trick of the trade to just sell the Hoover and take our money and bobs your uncle after that!!!!!!

No value for lots of money – What a waste of money, comepltely useless without the power of the electronic head. suction is near to human power (i.e if you sucked on the hose). and the head is constanly blocked. this thing does in for maintenace more times in the year than my car. light years ahead of our five-year-old Electrolux UltraPerformer which is headed for the tip in the morning. Can't wait to try it out on the car tomorrow - the box of cool gadgets will definitely come in handy for that. We bought it from Godfreys and got a fantastic deal from a very nice man who gave us a thorough demonstration of its capabilities. I now understand why Godfreys is still in business after all these years - good service and knowledgeable staff.

Best vacuum ever – This is the best thing I have ever brought. The vacuum has a powerful suction that gets deep into the carpet. It also came with several attachments so i can vacuum my curtains, bookcases, lounges and even my mattresses. It works well with picking up pet fur as well. It's really easy to clean.  Show details

Perfect – I brought my vac 12 months ago .even though it cost a lot I can honestly say I love it. It Picks up first time and leave the carpet looking new. picks up dog and cat hair with ease. Sorry, looks nice but not worth it – We've had ours for 3 years and it looks all very nice and Regal but I'm so sick of cleaning the filters. We went all in and bought the whole package. I'm not happy though, it seems I am forever cleaning out the 3 filters I can get too, the fourth one at the rear does not come out and I'm sure is clogged with dust. people in the house, it does what it says it will do and pick up all the hair but after every time around the house, I need to clear the turbo brushes of all the hair, very frustrating. The big wheels keep falling off while moving around the house, it's been back three times under warranty for different repairs, and needs another repair yet again. Now, the suction is so low, it hardly turns the mini turbo head. So, the $1299.00 I spent on it was a waste. In frustration, I bought a similar style of vacuum from Bunnings for $129.00. OMG, it does everything the Regal does except it works with twice the suction and half the effort. In conclusion, don't waste your money on the Regal.

Happy with its performance – We purchased this product after two previous Dyson Models. It is certainly as good as, if not better. The power cord is thinner but longer. all the attachments but on the few times I used a few they were very practical. It seems less prone to get a twist in the hose than my last Dyson. Like the Dyson, the filters are very effective, but you do need to check and clean regularly. I bought spares with my initial purchase and swap the main with a fresh one when I clean the previous. The lights are useful when cleaning under tables etc.

Great – Very happy with it would highly recommend it. Picks up all the dirt and unseen grime. Its light weight. My daughter can use is easly and enjoys that that actual vaccum head lights up...you can buy a spare part for the side that screws on and its so you dont have to really use the baggless part of the vaccume.
