- Several times a week
Works great, nothing bad to say – Works great most negative reviews are more than likely from people who lack the ability to CLEAN THE WHOLE MACHINE like people use to back in the 80s and well no clogging issues as I'm not trying to vac up micro fine dust thats like plaster once it sets like IV seen a lot of vacs practically clogged with just years of dust that people lack the… Read more · 1
abbility to simple use a brush and maintain there machine, think of it like owning a car you want it to work right then you need service it and that means using a screwdriver to actully separate the cyclone filters between the material ones
Dont recommend – Couple of things to share with you all. It is 1. heavy 2. does not work well worst vaccum ever, quite costly for nothing i wont buy it again it is waste of money.... Show details
Love it - 5+ years of trouble-free use! – My wife is a vacuum maniac, and vacuums at least twice a week. We also have a pet that lives indoors. Yet, the Hoover Vogue that we bought about 5-6 years ago has given us trouble-free use that whole time. Of course one expects that when paying a solid amount of money for an applicance, but unfortunately that is often not the case nowadays. … Read more
Well anyway, with our Hoover Vogue (bagless), that has been exactly the case. We just keep the power head clear by checking it and removing wrapped fibre strings every couple of months, and we also change the filters annually. We had it serviced once for free when we first bought it, but otherwise we just do it ourselves. No broken belts or other issues. Very happy purchaser here. We bought it at Godfreys Albury, and paid about $379 after negotiating, with 2 free services included. Worth every penny. Hopefully we get another 5 years out of it. Fingers crossed.
Does the job – It's an easy machine to use and suck very well. Have never had a problem. Good value. Not expensive not to cheap. What performance you expect in price range. Salesman was very keen to sell this model to us. Quite pushy. Won't shop at that company again. I would buy this vac again. Yes. Better than my last expensive named brand. Show details
Greatest Vacuum ever! – This vacuum is amazing, the light on the head make sit easy to see. Great suction, very easy to clean the roller head and empty the body with a quick release button. I have had it for 2 years now, I will continue to buy hoover, it's a shame the vogue addition was discontinued. Mine is a lovely marine green! Show details
Best vacuum ever – I Iove my Hoover vogues I use them everyday never had an issue love the power head easy on your back and leaves nice triangles in the carpet I've used many machines and I hate dysons to heavy but Hoover all the way and mine is still going strong since I got it over 3 years ago and the staff at Greensborough are fantastic not pushy and will help you with anything Show details
Hoover Vogue – This was highly recommended by Godfreys store assistant and it has has turned out to be a lemon. Never will I shop in Godfreys they are pushy and when they insist knowing your budget on a Vacuum cleaner they will kept pushing. Paid $359 3 years ago, if that's all it lasts I may as well by a cheaper vacuum. Worked for a short time. Show details
Bad purchased – The seller at Godfrey has highly recommended this vacuum cleaner to us and unfortunately this was a bad purchase & I will do my homework and check the reviews before I buy a new vacuum cleaner. The power cord is very short and we can only vacuum one small room at the time. We bought it 3 years ago and had to bring it twice to get it fix the carpet power head just stop working. Show details
Biggest waste of money – Died after 2 years and 5 months of light use. Waste of money. While it worked it worked well by just over 2 years of light use for $500 plus vacuum is not good enough and when I complained I got told the had no other complaints etc etc. Never buying another Hoover Show details
Light & easy – I live in a 2 bedroom standard unit. I have carpet in the bedrooms and living area. This model is perfect for me. It's powerful enough to lift what it needs to and light enough that you don't feel you've come off the rugby field after vacuuming. I've never found a cleaner that's totally quiet, but this one is certainly no louder than any other I've sampled. It's a reasonably priced cleaner that delivers. Show details
Had it just of 2.5 years – Not happy bought just over 2.5 years ago so out of warranty and the power head control unit handle just short circuited what a waste of money and godfreys want to sell same brand doubt it never again. After keeping up regular maintenance and cleaning of vacuum so disappointed Hoover used to be a trusted brand. Show details
Hoover review – My Vogue was selected after careful research online. It picks up well however it has a number of design flaws. The dust bag is far too small and needs changing frequently. It was obviously designed by someone who never vacuums thoroughly because why else would you have attachments but no grips on the handle to place them? P-l - e - a - s - e! ?The filer needs changing far more often than stated. Very disappointing. Like my Dyson better.
Hoover Vogue – When I took the Hoover Vogue back to godfreys for repair because the turbo brush had stopped working after <18 months? The salesman asked me how often do I use it? I said every day: I have pets. Oh, nonono, he said. Not designed to be used every day. Can I upsell you to blahblahblah? When I said I couldn't afford it, he told me all about his… Read more
pathetically hard life and how little Godfreys pay him. Not ever going back there. Ever. Not never. I finally got the repaired vac back after 3 weeks. The bits on the back are still falling off, and the filters need cleaning after ever vacuum. What a total waste of money!

Know better, choose better.
Ineffective, poorly built piece of junk! – We got this to replace our Dyson which had lost performance after 12 years. We wanted a Dyson again but money was pretty tight at the time so we got this for about half the price of the "equivalent" Dyson. I thought we couldn't go too wrong with a 'Hoover'. What a mistake. The suction wasn't too bad to begin with but has dropped off dramatically… Read more
in the 2 years we've had it. If you turn off the turbo head it doesn't really pick up anything anymore!
And yes, I've replaced the filters regularly which is expensive & doesn't really improve things anyway. It's obvious from how quickly the main filter gets blocked, that the cyclonic action isn't very good.
The cover on the plastic handle has come off exposing live wires & connections which is potentially very dangerous, so I've had to use a couple of small screws & cable ties to hold it on.
It still goes but we we be getting a Dyson again soon & the Hoover will be going to the tip. It's not even good enough to keep in the garage for vacuuming the cars.
Overall, a terrible vacuum that makes me appreciate how good the Dysons are. I won't skimp next time.
falling off as you move around. In the first six months a cleaner working for me received an electr – Not happy with product. Employed cleaner received electric shock from a part on the handle which fell off and left exposed area on handle. I wanted a replacement as machine only 6 months old. Godfreys convinced me when repaired would be OK. All went well now a part keeps falling out the back of the machine. Not a good performance, suction OK… Read more
but not the best I have had from other cleaners. Is light and quiet. Not as easy to manoeuvre as I thought when demonstrated. Carpet and tiled floors. Town house so not a big house. Will be contacting Godfreys Chermside to express my dissatisfaction. Cost almost $400.00. Could have bought a $100.00 one or less equal to same performance. I was carried away by the headlights
The most expensive and most useless vacuum I have ever bought – Sucked in by the dishonest Godfrey salesman into purchasing a $400 lemon. The vacuum worked great after 4 occassions then the rear motor filter cover began falling off continuously creating a very loud noise and a huge loss of suction. It would not fit back in place as it did when new as it looks like the cover has shrunk in size due to the heat. Godfreys never again. Hoover, Stay Away!
No longer sucking – Very impressed with this product at first, very effective and light. However, it now makes a loud noise and does not suck as it originally did. This is our third Hoover product, two vacuum cleaners and a great steam mop. Unfortunately they have all been very good to use but start failing or breaking early into their life. I now have big questions on their build quality and will steer clear of the brand.
This is what happens when someone who failed their Industrial Design degree creates a vacuum cleaner – Hopefully, dear reader, you will see all the terrible reviews below and will avoid this vacuum like the plague. like other people below, we went in to buy an on special vac from Godfrey's, only to be talked into buying this aberration. A key component of design is that form (the pretty bits) is not more important than function (what it's supposed… Read more
to do). Well someone obviously decided to get all cutting edge with this baby and chuck out all those old fashioned ideas out the window. So instead of a fairly pedestrian black or grey unit that sucks up all the gunk off your floor with little fuss, instead we get candy coloured vacuums (cos chicks dig bright colours, amirite!) that refuses to suck. Seriously. Unfortunately this pretty coloured little number isn't so fetching that it could be put on a plinth and displayed in your home as an objet d'art, because that's about all it's good for. Suction reduced dramatically within a year to make it non-functional. The power head (I laugh at this description...) both flicks dirt around as it whirrs furiously and getting the head off is like mud wrestling a crocodile. The head and the rod are heavy (great for developing those guns, ladies!), cumbersome, get clogged as soon as dust looks at them and difficult to unclog due to all the additional wiring that is supposed to make it work better but so doesn't. And can I tell you, when you have the same problem as everyone else has with it and take it to Godfrey's for resolving under warranty you will get nowhere as well. We were also fobbed off with a 'service' which cost us something ridiculous like $80 which did nothing, and as soon as we started using it again it was clogged with five minutes. Instead I bought a shop vac from Bunnings, figuring that if it would be used to clean workshops, it would clean my house. It sounds like a small jet airplane going off and I probably should use ear plugs when running it, but vacuuming is a breeze. The unit is light, easy to maneuver, looks like an ugly little Tardis, but actually does suck up the dirt off my floor. And springing $80 for a vac rather than $400 is a lot easier to live with. Keep away from the muppets at Godfrey's and avoid Hoover at all costs!!
Hoover 5012PH is a great Vacuum cleaner – Yesterday I bought the Hoover 5012PH cleaner, it does not have a bag, and is really easy to empty. I have found it to be very easy to use, really picks up the dirt, and the canister is transparent so you can see when to empty it. It is also very attractive with several colours to choose from. The first one I bought home had a broken clip, Godfreys… Read more
Castle Hill exchanged it for a new one without any problems. I previously had a Miele cat & dog cleaner, found that the bag filled every time I used it, too expensive to keep buying bags. The light weight, it has lights along the front, and the power head really moves it along.
Super Hoover Vogue – I needed a vacuum that would be able to pick up dust mites in carpet, tight spaces. and basically to clean my house. I went to godfrey vacuum shop with an open mind and with so many demonstrations with other vacuum cleaners. I chose this one, it is the best I am so happy I brought this one. It is amazing how well the carpet is so clean. My… Read more
friend brought the shark navigator and had so many problems and wished she never brought it. No noises, easy to empty the cannister. and it is not heavy good to lift around tight places
Sensational – After a Miele canister, Dyson DC 32 Motorhead and an iRoomba....... I have sold the lot on eBay and wandered into godfreys to find something that didn't make me want to rip up every bit of carpet I own.... The new Hoover vogue is the most awesome machine ever purchased! Does everything the top of the line Dyson did without the noise, and hideous… Read more · 1
weight!! Thank you Hoover- I have tried every vacuum from
Canister to robot to upright to cyclonic and your new Hoover Vogue is MAGIC.... At the age of 58.... I actually like to get the little beauty out of the cupboard! Thank you!! Weight, low noise great suction easy emptying. The lot!! Nothing- cord a little short but the machine is small- there is only so kick cord you can store in it! It us so light, or is so easy to unplug and move!
Excellence in Design Elegance – The new Hoover Vogue 5012PH is a pleasure beyond mere descriptive adjectives. Light, silent (hum/roar, no high pitch noise), beautiful, and very effective. We tried it over the whole 3 bedroom house, and were amazed at what it picked up (a lot!) and what it left on the carpets (nothing!). The PowerHead (with a small 100w motor) is absolutely a… Read more
delight to use. We had all kinds of vacuum cleaners over 30+ years, and the Hoover Vogue is simply the best. PowerHead, light, quiet, beautiful, effective. Nothing. But the dust capacity is 1.8 ltr; so very large houses may feel it is too small.
Love it – Absolutely love this vacuum. I was nervous about spending so much on a vacuum but I'm glad I did. It is lightweight, quieter than other vacuums I've owned, easy to empty (bagless version) and I don't have to remove the hose to empty the mess. It has a washable filter and has a great turbo head which you can switch on & off, for those extra hard… Read more

It was very important for us to have a vacuum that removes dog hair as we have two forever malting big dogs. I can honestly say I cannot see a hair on my floor, the turbo head is fantastic for removing dog hairs! Lightweight, TurboHead, Quiet, Picks up so much dirt!
And I thought it was a salesmans trick – We needed a new vacuum cleaner and I roamed Godfreys intent on spending $99 on the latest bargain. I overheard cleaners being explained to some other customers and the salesman was trotting out the usual well rehearsed speech. However, when he got to this one the patter seemed to diminish and an honest opinion was being delivered. Basically that… Read more · 3
it knocked the spots off vacuum cleaners four times the price. Heard it all before ? Well I tried it in the shop and then took the plunge. Our cleaner had just been to the house that day and had vacuumed the house with his machine. I decided to see what the Hoover would pick up. I was stunned. The collecting capsule was soon half full of a mix of pet hair and fine white dust. This is an awesome machine. It is quiet and light, it has a motor head which pulls it along as it beats the carpet (no pushing), and emptying is a 10 second operation (if you can stifle your amazement at what comes out). I also tackled some very long pile rugs that had been a nightmare for pet hair. It took these in its stride returning more debris and leaving them looking like new. Thoroughly impressed and well worth the money. Light, debris removal, ease of emptying (bagless version)
