These pple have just undergone an upgrade of their autowash, and its now 17.00 for the most basic!! Too expensive to use NOW.. the soap, soaped it all up, (1.30 maybe?), then rinsed it off, another min or so..
I reason the stopping of time would reduce the cost, as I like to soak it initially, then scrub the bird poo off at my leisure, not all rushing and crazy, making me get injuries..then rinse off.
This used to cost me around 5-6$ about 1 year ago..guess how much..

are for to hold them first one way so you can wash the left side, then the other end so you can do the other side of the dog! Attendant said 'owner won't replace them' as they break and owner said 'Owners must control their dogs'. WTH! 'owner' obviously doesn't understand that their customer is busy washing the dog with one hand lathering in the soap etc whilst squirting and rinsing the dog with the other hand and the chain is ESSENTIAL to this process! They don't seem to understand the basic fact that you don't just spray the dog from a distance like a knobhead, you NEED the chain to hold them in place for several reasons one of them being so THE DOG DOESN'T HURT ITSELF! The other being so the owner doesn't get bitten by mistake by the jumping writhing dog as it's being washed! Anyhow, I ended up absolutely soaked as I tried to hold my dogs collar with one hand and spray the poor beast with the other! Absolutely terrible and useless attitude by the 'owner'. Why the heck do you think the manufacturer of these excellent booths put a chain and a collar clip at each end of the booth FFS! Very dissapointed and drenched customer who will go and wash his car and dog somewhere else! Well done! Zero points for basic logic mate! And another Zero points for a lack of care! Cost you a couple of dollars to put the chains back on. Use stainless climbing crabs that open and close if you are worried about them breaking. Use logic and listen to your customers is my third suggestion!

I've taken my car through 3-4 times and paid for each one. I take offence to been accused of something I did not do.
Brian has a terrible attitude and gets quite defensive when challenged..

predicament. A vacuum and wash took 1 1/2 hours, they had plenty of staff and were not busy-some staff just stood around chatting between cars whilst my car doors were just left opened with the AC on- which I had turned off before they took the car.

"Without seeing any photographs of your vehicle I cannot comment on the condition of your vehicle" and after a lengthy explanation of how the machine works (or more accurately doesn't work) I got... "It may be that the condition of your vehicle required more than the automated touch free system could provide?"
All in all a pretty miserable experience - don't waste your time or money.
Do not Use this place for your car wash – I had a terrible experience at Hoppys in Capalaba. The management (The manager refused to provide his name) was not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude. Bad service – I sent an e-mail to hoppys to let them know that something is wrong with their automated car wash because my car was coming out dirty after the car wash. They replied by telling me that my standards was to high and they cancelling my subscription.
Unprofessional – Ruined my armrest. I noticed the second I got in the car. Asked to see the before photos & they said it will take too long, despite it being almost dead that day. Follow-up · Hoppys used to be hand wash now is machine wash - they missed half the dashboard - ended u pbeing $90 to get a car wash in and out - response when returned was - oh yes they should have done that - had to pay extra to get rest of car done - its like none of the team went into the one side of the car - not really an issue anymore as will never use a hoppys again

emailed with photos to the email that is supplied for complaints. I waited 4 days for a response, only to be notified that the damage looks like stone chips and Hoppys does not take responsibility. I was told to take it to the place I received the complimentary voucher to see if they had documented these as pre existing.
A bit of a strange thing to ask as it was a car service centre that gave the voucher to me. They give it to everyone who has a service with them. A bit suspect...
I went on Google to see if others have had similar experiences and was able to find a number of people who had this happen and Hoppy’s has taken no responsibility.

Cars are expensive and companies should be responsible for damage they incur.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I arrived at Hoppy’s Car Wash at 9:30 AM for a standard wash. At no point was I informed of any extended wait time beyond the usual 60 minutes, nor would I expect it at a business that markets itself as “fast” and “convenient.” By 10:50 AM, 1 hour and 20 minutes later, I had to leave to make an 11 AM… Read more
appointment. My car had only been through the external wash; no polish, and the interior hadn’t been touched. I estimate in total if I had stayed it would’ve been another 20 minutes = 1 hours and 40 minutes for a carwash.
I contacted Hoppy’s, who offered a re-wash. But when I didn’t hear back from customer service to confirm, I didn’t attend. Instead of any accountability, I was gaslit by Krissy Kedwell, customer relations manager, who clearly missed the memo on basic customer service, like communicating whether a booking is confirmed or not.
To top it off, I had to spent the entire time outside in the cold due to no available seating inside.
I was denied a refund and offered vague platitudes about “how busy life gets.” Honestly, Hoppy’s should be paying me for the time they wasted.
0/10, wouldn’t recommend. Go to a small business that actually values your time and business. I will avoid taking fleet cars here in the future and will actively advise clients and friends to avoid this place.
Slightly more disappointing than normal experience – Paid for a Super wash which is supposed to include a vacuum and a dashboard wipeover. One of the floor mats on the passenger side has less dirt on it, but isnt clean and you can write your name in the dust on the dashboard. I'm just lucky that they're clean at all. The center console isnt included in the super wash, thats a $25 extra cost. On top of that, there are water marks on the windows and trim that apparently must have been there before which were not.
Its generally only an adequate wash but for $60 its just not worth it.

good experiance – overall an okay experience. visited the pimpama location. The turn to get into the wash is very tight and you need to do an almost 3point turn to get your car in (ford ranger). however, the wash its self was good and the staff were friendly. thanks

Last night to my shock, my family member told me she had a bad experience and complained to them. She had a brand new car only a month old, she pointed out the dirt on the outside after being cleaned, however, strangely, something in their brain caused them to tell her it was chips on her car !!!???? She rubbed it with her fingers to show it was 'dirt' to which they still denied ! To behave with such denial, was Unbelievable ! Their soap stains your car!!! – Just took my van through the manual wash at Hoppys Bowen Hills. They seem to have put a yellow dye in the soap suds that come out of the foam brush. I took photos and emailed them notifying them of the issue and they have taken no responsibility and instead said that I should come in asap for a full buff and polish (at my cost) to rectify the damage. What a joke, avoid like the plague unless you want some dirty yellow stains on your car!
Greedy owner – Used to go here often but not anymore as the place has gone to the dogs, the high pressure soap might as well be just water, the switch to change modes barely works and best of all the price has gone up. Bye Hoppy's... I'll take the trip down to the Karcher centre from now on.
TGIF Shining Start – Hoppy’s Handwash Cafe Albion … omg my lucky TGIF … at 7.30 am the automated wash wasn’t functioning so Mark the manager of HHCA offered me a complimentary wash to get my early start on the way … thank you Mark for such a polished shining gift.
Unacceptable – Sloppy work , my car was handed my car back to me unfinished and didn’t drive it out of the car wash for me so had to walk through puddles to get into it . When I questioned the cleaning package I had paid for but they could not understand me . They took it back to finish and it was still incomplete . Rugs weren’t put back straight , seats werent wiped , neither was dash , smudges everywhere . My car is new and won’t be taking it back .
New management are clueless – I’ve literally never left an online review before in my life, but the new owners are running this place into the ground. $2.00 a minute for the self service bays and terrible quality
No longer going here!! – I was a regular but think they've changed. Talk you into spending top dollar ($270) only to disappoint you with very sloppy work and completely missed items. Management had no interest in customer service - not impolite, just ignored contact.
Good value. Convenient. Friendly – Signed up for the $45 a month club. Had some help from the staff member on site who was very polite. Happy with the wash. Cleaned wheels and tyre shined. Service dwindled over the years – Terrible service. Do not keep cars in order of arrival. 50 minutes from arrival to external of the car being the only thing done. Appalling service when I raised the issue and asked for a refund and for the job not to be finished. There is a reason people in Brisbane are now saying not to come here. It appears since they have to pay their staff appropriately they can no longer deliver a decent service.
Too Long !!!!!!! – I waited almost 2 hrs for my car to be washed etc. It’s just too long as no advice was shown what the expected delay/wait was. It might help your business to display waiting time as this gives the customer the choice to wait or leave and come back another day. In my case you have lost a customer.

Got contacted by the owner of Hoppys who promised to rectify the whole thing, but I found out by complaining, I wasn't welcome back, I was in fact banned. This is was bad service that resulted in a black mark for complaining. Don't go near them.

Not Impressed – Had basic car wash at Bowen Hills. Still had to clean some grime off rims and numerous circular scratches appeared on front and rear windscreens.
Disappointed – Used the Pimpama Hoppys Carwash today for the first time. The attendant was most helpful as I was a newbie however the wash was very disappointing - the front and sides of my Tucson look fine but it doesn’t even look as though the back has been washed. I’m very disappointed with the results particularly for the price. Sorry.
