able to write a review on their site after I had purchased but of course, now that it has broken and is past a certain amount of time, I am no longer able to provide feedback. We threw it out eventually since it was falling apart. Recently thought I might as well bother to contact them and see if they are able to offer anything but just got the standard spiel from the chatbot. Really disappointing.

Yes, I had the same problem with all the spray guns, even after following the dismantling and servicing instructions. To be fair, when it happened to the first couple, Hoselink did send replacements. However I had the same problem with those ones as well, so after all that I didn't bother and purchased new ones from the local hardware store.

Purchased a retractable line reel and fittings, 2 metal guns and various fittings to convert another hose about 5 years ago. All good for about 2 years then the leaks started in all the fittings, attachments and the 2 metal spray guns. I have spent a fortune in spare parts/repair kits with expensive postage. I should mention the hose reel itself is good, it's ALL the fittings that are the problem.

Wish I had purchased Gardena in the first place. Don't be fooled by all the positive reviews, they are from buyers who have yet to encounter leaks.

Oh and if you think you can repair with parts from Bunnings, no way because Hoselink fittings are cleverly not adaptable.

Awesome customer service how every company should be – Reel broke small belt that guides the hose, even after a year out of warranty, hoselink stepped up and fixed it for free, you cannot get better service than that. Retractable Hose Reel and Spray Gun Do Not Last – We brought 3 complete retractable hose reels about 2.5 years ago. All 3 spray nozzles do not work, and 1 hose reel does not retract at all. Best quality products on the Australian market – Just replaced my 11yr old 30m retractable reel. (It won’t lock out now) Love the product. It sat in full Melbourne weather uncovered year round and has outlasted 3 other different brand reels from Bunnings, which were protected undercover. In no way am I complaining that my old one broke. perfectly and have been reused around my house.

Also just changed over all my hose and tap fittings because I just got sick of the standard click connections bursting off under pressure. No leaks and no unexpected bursts since and that’s exactly why I went to hoselink. (The only complaint I have is that I should’ve done that years ago instead of persisting with the cheap rubbish ones...) My pressure washer now doesn’t leak one drop which is unheard of with click connectors.

I feel much better supporting Australian owned and made products rather than continually buying cheap imported parts that are destroyed by Australian conditions in a just few months. Delivery was fast pretty fast.

I think you’d gather from my review I’m extremely happy with hoselink and highly recommend it.

Great but a fatal flaw in design – These hoses are great and I note they get amazing reviews. I would be interested to see peoples reviews 2-3 years on as a auto retract reel breaks and is a cheap plastic part. Once broken it renders the hose useless. OMG why did I take so long to purchase!!! – Hoselink should be so proud of their Aussie made product - great quality and sturdy!! Our water pressure was just awful, not any more, we've had no problems anymore and love not having to struggle winding up the hose anymore or having it laying on the ground! Greta investment – I live in rural NSW and often are subjected to water restrictions. Having such a quality hose makes the task of watering easier. Love the retractable hose too. I had no idea how much joy could be generated by using a hand held sprinkler nozzle which doesn't leak. Show details

Shonky bad discontinued line – hose came on the reel the reel jammed constantly it blew holds through the hose no replacement was offered in 2007 it was bought by a friend who gave it to me at that time I couldn't get it replaced nor could they it was a case of buy it by him gave it as a gift and have the problems of a shonky product its now been turfed complete rubbish any wonder it was a discontinued line  Show details

Great product. I've purchased 2 – These are well made and reliable. Only had one small issue but it was easily sorted out. A rubber washer came off which caused the join to leak. There were plenty of spares and Hoselink were happy to supply more. Gone are the days of tangled hoses lying around the back yard. I have found Hoselink to be honest in dealing with customers – Approximately six years ago, when Hoselink were first putting their Auto rewind hose reel onto the market, I purchased a 30 metre one. this one for about five years. I'm pretty idle sometimes and often when I had finished watering, I'd drop the hose end where I finished, which left the hose unwound and in my wife's way, so I purchased a second auto retractable hose so I have one on the North side and one on the South side, which are rewound each time.

I changed my hose fittings to Hoselink very early after seeing their design, so everything I use such as my Karcher pressure washer are fitted with Hoselink. I've never had a problem since changing over.

I'm quite annoyed with myself, because the design of the fittings are typical innovative plumbing design, so because I served an apprenticeship as a Plumber and earned the highest grades in Plumbing Design and Quantities, I could kick myself for not designing these myself. So well done Tim Kierath, you're a Star in my books.

To those who complain about price, you get what you pay for..!!!

short life – thought product was good at first but at about 3 & half years old it failed - guide jammed & stripped sprocket. Not used a lot & always careful on retraction speed. Hose link offered reduced price for new one but don't see why new one won't also fail after a few years. Now thrown away. Recommend do not buy if you want long life
