Hoselink Retractable Hose Reel 3330 (30m)

Was great for a while but after less than 4 years the reel stopped reeling in. Only solution I was offered was a small discount on a new one. Expected better quality and lifetime from such an expensive product.

These retractable hoses look nice and modern attached to our walls , it almost matches the texture finish paint. Great quality. Having a long hose makes watering so easy. Show details

just isn't worth it!!

As per my initial review, Hoselink is NO BETTER than any other brand or product on the market, JUST MORE EXPENSIVE!!

Sorry Hoselink, I gave it a chance, and your product is NOT superior to all other products. In fact it is probably just the same. Customer service is still very good but the product is just like every other hose reel on the market!!

I DO NOT recommend Hoselink. You can buy any other branded product that will do the same job, and for much, much less!! _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ UPDATED - after my concern with Hoselink (detailed below) I received the best customer service in having my hose reel and trigger rectified and replaced.

Hoselink service is (surprisingly) very fast and effective. At no stage did I receive any grief for my issues. They simply accepted them and had them rectified very quickly. I now HIGHLY recommend Hoselink for your hosing needs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My kids bought me a HoseLink hose reel for my 60th birthday thinking they were buying a superior product to others on the market BUT, this is not the case!!

The so called NO LEAK is a farce. The trigger connector is always leaking, and the guide that moves the hose from side to side isn't moving at all, making the retraction a pain in the neck!!

Hose Link advertise their products as better than others on the market however this is simply NOT the case. I know I didn't pay for this product directly but if I knew how poor this was, I would have advised my kids to save over $150 and buy another product, as HoseLink is NOT as good as they make out to be.

I definitely DO NOT recommend HoseLink hose reels!!

Great product, excellent service – Ordered another hose reel to match the one out the back purchased 4 years ago and going strong. The new 30m reel arrived promptly during Christmas holidays but after a quick install I found that the internal elbow had broken and water gushed out. Couldn't ask for better service. The product itself is excellent, particularly the retracting reel which hasn't missed a beat in 4 years - putting it head and shoulders above other brands we have tried (like those from Bunnings). The hose is excellent quality and hasn't deteriorated in that time - still thick-walled, stiff and smooth. The connectors and water gun that came with the new reel are also excellent. We converted our old reel to traditional fittings after sme interest from the dog and wanting the ability to fit kids' water toys etc, but the new fittings will definitely stay as is for the front reel. Strongly recommend.

Thought it was overpriced- was i wrong – I bought two reels - 30m and 20m. I thought they were expensive considering what i pay at Bunnings. WRONG! ordered the spray bottle, large oscillating sprinkler and the 9 way sprinkler. These items arrived in 48 hours and again for the money i spent i thought - this is a bit expnsive ($150 total). Again WRONG! really well made heavy duty plastic, Sprayed metal (rust resistant) and brass fittings. Touching them you just know they are going to last.

I did have a problem with the spray bottle but one call to Hoselink Australia, 5 minutes of trouble shooting and i get told - "nope we are over thinking the problem - everything works straight out of the box pretty much. I will order you a new one". It was helpful, simple and done.

I wish all my internet purchases had this level of quality and this level of customer service.

Best watering hoses for your garden – After buying a 20 metre and a 30 metre retractable hoses, I won’t ever buy another brand. Easy to use, hand piece great to operate, no trigger to hold, great connections. I have advised family and friends to purchase, costs are higher than most other brands, however worth every cent. hand. I wet the hose as it's winding back in. Fitting are all hoselink type which are good, until you brake a O ring, but they do give you a couple of spare O rings. Only gripe is the hose not being kink free, and the spring is strong, so some people might fine it hard to pull out and retrack slowly. If it was a non kink hose I would have given 5 stars

bad customer service – I have had 20 years experience in injection molding and am aware all dies ware out after so many moldings and should be replaced , the male and female fittings or joiners do not fit properly because the dies are warn out even with new O ring seals it will still leak, also the plastics used are too cheap and ware out prematurely. if you argue this point with them you will get nowhere also the hose will not retract without tangling every time. Show details

This is a joke right? – Received this as a gift. Would never have bought it for myself. This is no better than any hose available off the shelf at any hardware store. However, the real bonus is that it isn't compatible with any other accessory you could think of, ever, anywhere, unless you waste your time on the internet to buy adapters only available on Hoselink website AND wait for ridiculous shipping times and prices. Pointless, overpriced underwhelming gimmick.

Good quality Aussie made product – Tis is the 3rd Hoselink reel I've purchased and all except one are still in good order. Worth the investment – Hose was easy to mount. Good retraction. Never kinks. Haven't had it for long but I expect longevity. I love the easy fittings connection and I got the adaptor too for existing sprinklers. I also bought the sprayer bottle which works very well and the multi sprinkler which is super handy with its different sprinkler settings. Show details

Best retractable hoses hands down – I have 5 hoselink retractable hose reels. 1x 30mtr and 2 x 20mtre at work and 2 x 30mtre at home. We have had one for over 20 years and it's still working spot on. I have tried be lucky to get a couple of years out, so you make the decision and in the long run more cost effective. Hoselink have the best fittings, accessories to make your experience so much better.

more important to put the money towards.. Oh how wrong was I. The hoselink hose system is an absolute dream to use, all while looking fabulous. I wish I hadn't waited so long to get one. I can't wait until the garden needs watering next so I can use it again. It is so easy to install, all of the fittings feel really sturdy, there are definitely no leaks and the hose pulls out and retracts with ease. I will definitely be getting another one.. Soon.

Failed to rewind after 12 months use – Very disappointed in the hose from a reliability point of view. Turned out the rewind spring failed, not only broke in one place but shattered into about 15 pieces. The company offered me a 30% discount on a replacement but as I have another 2 hose reels which are older and still operating perfectly I bought another product to replace it.

Leaking hoses – Bought 2 retractable reels both developed holes around same time . Hoselink could sell me a repair kit but that only does one leak i have 3 leaks. I thought the hoses would have lasted longer than this consedering how much we paid for them very disappointed. Show details

The best hose reel you can buy & customer service team to deal with any issues – I have purchased many products from Hoselink over the years and multiple reels (gift for parents, I have 1 already), I ended up purchasing another 1 for myself, unfortunately it arrived broken, probably in transit (where I sent some photos and video to them), 1 phone call later and Hoselink have sent me a new reel. Don’t rate them – Recently had to again replace an item from Hoselink. We have too much invested already to change brands. Multiple hand helds failing. Lawn sprinkler needs tapping continually so it will function as marketed. And now had to replace the hose reel for leaking badly. I don’t recommend when the conversation comes up. 3.0-3.5kg of pressure is what is required to pull this hose out – It is a very well made reel, sturdy and robust, but using it is a nightmare. The retraction mechanism is far too tight and cannot be adjusted without some huge "hack". It seems so stupid that such an expensive unit would not have an easy way to adjust tension. takes considerable effort to pull out, whereby if I were in my 70's+ I would not be able to do this. It becomes even more apparent how rubbish this is when you only want to extend the hose say a couple of meters how much effort is required for such a small distance.

Conversely, the retraction happens far too quickly, I need to be very careful about walking back with the end of the hose in my hand as the gun would get minced over my driveway.

Finally the pressure is pretty lousy. I have a bog average Pope plastic hose reel in the back yard which has more than adequate pressure to do things like hose away dirt.

I had planned to buy a second for my backyard but an very pleased I refrained.

Great product, I just wish it didn't take this long to deliver! – Hoselink is NOT a reliable product. The first unit arrived damaged out of the box and was unusable. Hoselink support was good and replaced it with a new one promptly. However, the second unit did not fully retract and has a good 5 meters of hose hanging out! I purchased the original hoselink back in December 2021, and its now 28th February 2022 and I still don't have a working product! Don't waste time on Hoselink and buy a product from a local store which you can actually get replaced immediately, instead of waiting weeks for Australia Post to deliver! Definitely NOT worth the $250 spend!

UPDATE: Hoselink support was very cooperative and promptly replaced the hose reel again. So I finally have a working one and I couldn't be happier! The only thing that was annoying was having to wait for Australia Post to deliver, but I cant really blame Hoselink for that.

Almost perfect – Excellent design and quality on both the retracting unit and hose. Unfortunately even at this price point, you don't get a single adapter to traditional hose fittings so I can not use it with my high pressure washer for example. Again at this price point, the rain cover should be included for protecting the unit In weather Nice option on the pole to add a lock. Unfortunately as with the cheap guns, you still get a drip from the gun while using it. Purchased the oscillating sprinkler with it and that is hands down amazing - best sprinkler I have ever used with ever option well worth the $70.

Best retractable hose I've ever owned – After years if putting up with cheaper hoses I decided to go with Hoselinks 30m retractable hose reel. It is perfect, excellent quailty and a great setup, everything just works as it should.
