Nightmare!! – Never in my life have I dealt with a more incompetent person. We signed our contract in April 2021, it took our builder ages to get the appropriate paperwork to council, then blamed council. Our frames were then delivered mid January 2022 and sat in the wet and mud for 6mths. We pushed and pushed our concerns about the frame and wanted them replaced, constantly being told they were fine. A pier was put in the wrong place, not enough products were ordered, and the wrong products ordered. Our house is not even finished yet and we now have MOULD in our new home because of the dodgy frames that went in to begin with - apparently it’s not mould - according to the builder and he’s requested I take down any information online… not a chance… he’s still dodgy as.. I will never ever build again … this has been the worst experience of my life. This is the first time we’ve ever owned/built a home and it’s been nothing but stressful…. DONT EVER BUILD WITH CHINCHILLA HOTONDO/[Name Removed]!!!

If this was taken seriously there would be more being done. I feel let down by all systems and supports that we are meant to be able to utilise as home owners.
