240 days + 21 days for incremental weather changes. They act in their own interest, not the buyers. They do what they want to do, not what the customer wants. They take no responsibility for their mistakes and blame the customer, and make no effort to rectify the issues.They cut corners so that they dont have to pay for the job to be completed correctly even though the customer has already paid for it in their contract leaving the customer to pay even more $$$$$$$$. They respond with aggressive emails, that is when they can even be bothered to respond. Had to report them to QBCC to get anything done and it has taken over 14 months to get anything rectified, and there is still a lot of rectification work outstanding. Would not recommend them to anyone. Would actually give them zero stars if that was an option

and readily interacted with us whenever we were onsite. The end result was a quality build delivered within set timelines. We chose Hotondo Homes initially as they were the only builder who listened to us and built exactly what we asked for, as they have an inhouse Architect who allowed us to design our vision drawing up plans and then adjusting them as required. Contractual costs were clearly outlined from the onset and did not change unless we adjusted them to include a last minute upgrade. That in its self is a feat as it was done through Covid.

Any issues were resolved as soon as they occurred and we were kept informed every step of the build. Communications were effective outling what was happening and when the next step would commence.

All in all, thank you [Name Removed], [Name Removed] and the team at Hotondo Homes Hervey Bay for providing us with a home we can enjoy for many years. We would whole heartedly recommend them if you are looking a build team you can trust.

The attention to detail throughout the build was first class resulting in the team delivering to us "our perfect home".

Even through these difficult times, with ongoing shortages of materials and labor we did not expend one extra cent on top of the initial contract with the exception of additional items which we added after the initial quote.

After four months of residing in our new home the only fault we have discovered being the front door was sticking and this was very quickly resolved. How good an outcome is that.

We would highly recommend Hotondo (Hervey Bay) to anyone who makes the decision to build their new home, I can guarantee you won't be disappointed with the end result. The quality and workmanship of the build is outstanding.

On handover day, after receiving the keys to our new home, we felt as though we were saying goodbye to family and not just the team that made our dream become reality.

Final cost was as per initial contract, apart from extras we requested and those were still within our budget.

Upon completion there have been a few very minor fixups, none more than would be expected and all have been handled efficiently.

The team at Hervey Bay Hotondo have been exceptional in professional service and personal care. We can honestly say there is not one negative thing in dealing with them from start to finish. We will be forever grateful of how they turned what could be a stressful process into a fabulous experience.

and catered to the needs of the client. We dealt with him up until we started physical works. We transitioned into working with the Managers, an interior designer and Builder/project manager, and the service kept climbing. The information, professionalism, personalities and overall feel that we got from them was incredible. The whole team has made our whole project such a stress free experience when we once thought "what are we getting ourselves into." They happily accommodated for changes and additions we made and made it clear that there were some things that would cost but that was mostly for structural changes. They kept us up to date with what was happening and made it clear that we were able to see the house at no more than a phone call's notice. At every stage of the build we knew where we were and where we were going from week to week. They made us feel like we were family and this was their personal house being built.

I recommend Hotondo to everyone who asks me about my new home. Quality and workmanship is perfect. Final cost matched quote given before build started. We paid for additional things we wanted to change. Build had been managed perfectly.
