promptly and to our satisfaction. The build quality was very good and there were only a few minor issues had to be corrected before hand over. After take over, few more minor issues, eg misaligned sliding doors, were noticed and these were quickly remedied. Our biggest problem is with the quality of the timber flooring. However this is being delayed due to the Covid restrictions but we are confident it will be rectified once these restrictions are lifted. Communication throughout the design and build process has been excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend Cardinia Homes to build your home.

up and decided to take a further year before starting the build, never at any time were we questioned. Laeyna went above and beyond, including dropping by to pick contracts and so forth. Our start date was mid-July, and our beautiful home was completed 3 weeks ago. During the build process, Rohan our site supervisor managed the process very well, communication was great, and he was always happy to go the extra mile when needed, again things like picking fittings up to save us a trip he was always happy to offer. Very easy to talk to, and most off all always accommodating. In my line off work, I do tend to go out to houses during finishing stage, I’m always amazed at how reckless trades are in completion, and pre hand over have a massive clean to hired the mess that has been created. I happen to be in the area post our floors going in, and walked through while Rohan was inside working on something, he had his shoes off and was going about his business, it may not sound like a big deal, but it’s the level of care and respect we have consistently experienced via Hotondo. The owner of the company Scott oversaw the process, always prompt and attentive with any queries. Very easy to talk to, and you can see these traits displayed throughout his team, always stuck to his word. On the day of handover, there was a slight hiccup with our dishwasher installation, Scott drove an hour each way to install just so we would have everything ready on the day of, what’s more, is he took the time out to come and welcome us into our new home. Post our contracts he was also able to save us money by getting engineered retaining walls taken out, this was a direct result of his experience and his exact words to the surveyor were “I don’t see why my customers should have to pay more money unnecessarily”, this in turn saved us a lot of $$$. I have come across very few individuals with as much integrity and trust that Scott has, just a very genuine person. This may sound like an insider advertisement for this builder, I can assure you it's not. The slope on our block is more than 10 Metres from front to back, we contacted builders who wouldn't touch anything greater than 3, and others that will charge you excess for the sake of it. I couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough, I feel as though this build has gone through like a breeze with no stress at all, thank you so much!

Easy process from start to finish – The entire project was professionally managed by the owner/Staff of Cardinia Homes. Project proceeded smoothly with no major issues during the build process, very happy with the entire process from start to finish.
