House Call Doctor

Appalled. They finally came 7 hours after we called, spent five mins here and said they would send an e-script for antibiotics to start immediately. E-script never arrived despite following up twice with them. Had to go to urgent care clinic the next morning and start over. No care or professionalism whatsoever, caused a lot of extra stress and anxiety.

Don't waste your time!!! – what a bloody waste of time. After an hour on the phone being told incessantly someone will answer your phone soon, gave up and booked a 'callback'. Had to give personal data and medicare number before I could even book a callback . WHAT HAPPENS TO THAT INFORMATION!!!!

Useless – Rang to book a doctor, booked with consult, got a text message 5 mins later saying the doctor would prefer I go to the emergency room and present my gastric problems. You’re a waste of space company, and your doctor is probably in bed tending to his own needs. Tosser

Compassionate prompt care – I’m a bit shocked by the other reviews as my experience was good. I’d just had a terrible experience with 13 sick who wouldn’t even come and these people came within a couple of hours and treated me with care. It was in Brisbane.

Lifesavers – Had a virus and could not stop vomiting. Called House Call Doctor at 7pm, got a call back from them around 8pm saying the Doctor was on his way. Friendly Doctor provided me with medication that finally stopped the vomiting. Couldn't have driven my self to the hospital and would have had to call an ambulance if this service wasn't available. much better once the vomiting stopped and recovered in a couple of days. So impressed that this service exist, so lucky to have something like this when you aren't well. Would and have recommended to everyone I know!

Brilliant Service – After major surgery and release from hospital contacted an infection in my leg needed to see a doctor outside of General practice hours . Called House Call Doctor. The doctor arrived within a suitable time and was very understanding and advised me what i needed . Gave me a script for the medication needed . Which thankfully saved me another trip back to the hospital. Can only speak highly of the service House Call Doctor offers.

time I’ve tried to use this service without any luck. It would have been quicker to sit in an emergency room. Pathetic, incompetent with absolutely no care for those requiring the service.why offer a home visit if you are never available???

Disgusting. Never showed up!! – I was in so much pain and these idiots never showed up. Sent me a text 3 hours later saying they would not be able to make it. Unbelievable, they should be shut down.

Not very helpful staff can’t get hold of a person – I made appointment at 6pm on line for my sick daughter I got a message at 630 stating the doctor is not coming not sure why I have tried call them To find out what is happening and have been on hold for over a hour this is ridiculous

Disgusting! My son was violently ill and dehydrated and they would NOT send a Dr and only offered telehealth! CRIMINALS!

Absolutely disgusting terrible service rate 0 – Absolutely waste of time made me wait 4 hours with a fever before cancelling via text. They reassured me a dr will visit when I spoke to reception while making booking. I could of gone to hospital and been seen already. But they reassured me a dr was on his way. They confirmed my booking minutes after I made it. Then sent me a text dr was on his way. Then 4 hours later they sent a text cancelling. Absolutely disgusting service. Shame on you.

Bad service – Terrible service from house call doctor townsville usually there pretty good the few times we have used them , But this time my wife made an appointment at 3:00pm and instead of calling or texting straight away they left it for 3hrs before letting us know they are fully booked leaving us with no options but to wait till the next day to see a doctor making very hard as she is bed riding thanks for nothing.

Patient better off in Ukraine hospital emergency care – Rang late last night on Gold Coast now 7 hours later and two calls with nobody showing up or calling back. Booked a bulk billed doc instead. fraud, terrible – this people are crooks, complete fraud, they do not take booking to visit patients, they make to book a "call a doctor, phone consultations", and after few hours txt you with extra charges for a service they did not provided. total waste of time , they should be on jail.........

Dont bother - NO SERVICE PROVIDED – If I could give less stars I would. Phoned and made a booking at 4pm on Saturday-heard nothing and 6 hours later tried to phone to cancel only to find no one answering their phone. Concerned they will debit medicare for a service they didn't provide. Is this a scam??

Very poor service - don’t bother – Waited 6 hours for a Telehealth appointment because no doctors available to visit my daughter. Tried phoning after 4 hours and was on hold 45mins. No one ever answered. Finally got a text with a link after 6 hours but no doctor showed up on the other end. Complete waste of time.

not the best – i have made 4 tele-health appointments over the past two days and have made numerous calls to enquire why there is never a call back. false advertisement in my opinion. doctors arent the easiest to get into these days and this service is supposed to “help” if there’s no call even when i’m told ill be expecting a call and i never do. close the business at this point.

Would RATE 0 if i could. Had our card details stolen right after paying them. No Doctor after payment – We were told that after we paid 38$ for a Telephone consult we would be contacted shortly after. Nothing happened, no call but we have now 1300$ missing out of our bank account. This is the only possible security breach. AirBnB somewhere in Sydney is booking of our card after we paid for this over the phone. Never using this (can't call it a service) again.

What a rort! My mother needs an examination not a call from a dr I struggled to understand. Don't get me wrong I'm all for inclusiveness but the dr was very difficult to understand over the phone. It was a disgrace quite frankly. I would never use this service and strongly advise others not to either.

Scam with taxpayers money – Rang at 1:30pm on a public holiday for my 4 month old. It's now 8:30pm and I can't even get through to anyone to know if they're going to ring my doorbell in the middle of the night and wake us all up. Really really bad service, don't bother if you don't have to. I doubt they make many appointments they set at all. This is the 3rd time in 2 years I've tried to use the service and have never ever had a doctor actually turn up.

doctors but there were no appointments available and after calling 1300health and talking to a registered nurse she suggested I seek advice from a doctor. I filled out the online form just after midday on Saturday and at 12.45 was told no doctor was available but I could have a phone consultation. I paid $38.00 at 1.30pm to a lady calling from Melbourne ( I am based in Qld ). At 4.45pm I was told I had been assigned a doctor and one would call soon. It is now Sunday Night and I am still waiting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a shocking service as I was genuinely afraid of going to sleep that night and waking up with pain again or something worse. A 5 minute conversation to a doctor would have made the world of difference and eased some of my concerns.

Horrible experience, doctor didn’t show waited 6 hours before going to ED – Our family (myself, partner and 8month old) got hit with gastro on a Saturday. Called at 4pm to book, told 1-4 hour wait on weekends. Called multiple times to get updates, submitted online form, no way of getting back in contact. Doctor never showed. Ended up in emergency. Worst Health Service Ever! – Where does one start! The worst patient experience ever! Could not make contact with anyone no Dr consult after waiting over 7 hours! Really horrible! Don’t waste your time, truly! I canceled my appointment and the the Dr called I kid you not the phone rang one ring before they hung up. This service is a shocker!

DONT USE. IT'S A SCAM – They lie and tell you they are in Australia but they are not. The Doctor maybe but the phone service isn't and my prescription wasn't sent to the PHARMACY. I called back and spent an hour on the phone with someone who could barely speak English. I couldn't speak with a manager and they continually lied to me about being in Australia.

from a Victorian number where the lady (which I thought was the doctor) proceeded to take my details and took the $38 payment via debit card. As soon as the payment went through, she proceeded to tell me that a doctor will call within 2 to 3 hours (it was now 10:00 pm). I said what? I needed to sleep and was so sick, I didn't really care anymore and just left my phone right next to my bed so it would wake me.

Cause I was constantly visiting the bathroom throughout the night, I woke at about 2:15 am in the morning and checked my phone, not one call, no message, nothing?

I woke again at around 8:30 am and checked my phone again, but still nothing??

I've just called your number to get my money back and the recording said to select 1 to speak with a representative, only to be put straight through to a messenger?

You're an absolute disgrace House Call Doctor and an embarrassment to Qld Health (Qld Health is a disgrace just on its own as it is). You're playing with peoples health and lives and should be shut down!!

Terrible service – Made an online booking and then realised I had put in my home address not the address we were located at. Called and waited 1 hour and 25 minutes and the call did not get answered. My husband rang and requested a call back, never received. 3 hours later we were sent a message to say the doctor was not coming and we could pay for a Telehealth consultation. Very disappointed.

Awful practice - can’t rely on it – I spent a lot of time trying to book through app, but this app does mot work. well person, I am a veteran 50yo and had run out of MS CONTIN AND ENDONE was really sick trouble breathing chest was getting sore dry reaching, and am not calling ambulance as they take me to Bundaberg base hospital emergency and the nurse and doctors have no to very little empathy an treat me like a junkie ( I DO NOT SELF MEDICATE WITH RECREATIONAL DRUGS ) couldn’t get into GP Friday got a 8am appointment Monday 8/11/21 , so Dr came in asked issue started to tell him he see boxes of pain meds doesn’t even look at me and says “NO” and walks out, even the security guy was bewildered and embarrassed. I’m so disgusted with the way the dr presented himself not a good look for house call doctors, I told my GP even he was shocked at the way the doctor came across, so after the doctor had his hissing fit and left about 3 hrs later I was so sick I had to call ambulance and the paramedics are awesome gave me 20mg of morpheme and they agreed not to take me to base hospital they left I felt a 100 % better and attend my Gp I have contacted my solicitor in regards to negligence by doctor and will be looking at legal action. Shicking – Bargara QLD. Sunday 27-10-21 made a appointment through House Call Doctor. Now Wednesday 3-11-21 and have never received a call from any doctor at all. Had to solve my serious issue myself. What a joke. Never call them
