Follow-up · I can't find fault with Humm the team has been extremely helpful the application was easy l was approved the same day the repayments are fixed rate NO interest and no hidden fees there is a monthly charge which is mentioned at the start every thing is open and upfront l would still have no hesitation in recommending Humm again and would definitely use them again if necessary l stand by my previous review.

Follow-up · Hiumm has change their process from their original years of operation and now have a more formalised credit application and credit reference check process to comply with new laws for consumer credit finance on a buy now pay later arrangement. You still need a 20% deposit of the total purchase price before proceeding with new application process.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Blatant stalling tactics when trying to pay balance outstanding and close the account. They claim it takes 5-7 business days to process a payment.

I don’t like your company, the repayments for a pensioner are ridiculous and the extra amount between payments is nothing but a rip off! If anyone asked me about getting a loan from your company, I’d tell them not to do it, take it directly out of your pension which does not charge for paperwork or interest.

Can’t pay my balance and it’s been stuck like this for over a week. They’re claiming “essential system maintenance” for more than a week? That doesn’t pass the sniff test. My bank notified me on an unpaid Humm90 debt from 2020 which was flagging on my credit rating, when I contacted Humm90 to query this issue they told me they had passed it on to a debt collector and it was no longer their issue, keeping in mind it is now 2026. It has been 6 years and this now reflects on my credit rating because Humm90 failed to close my account or clear a debt that was not there to begin with. Very poor and unprofessional!!

Terrible service. I forgot my first payment was coming out Jan 14th so the direct debit got rejected as I hadn’t put funds in that account. I paid it about half an hour later on the same day. Their app is terrible as well.No account number details, keeps logging off, no proper help portal, money keeps showing as pending till the month is finished NOT when you’ve actually paid it?
