Great!

Have used Humm many times over the years and never had any issues. Very smooth process and easy application process. It's a shame we can't use it instore anymore though. Show reply

Not user friendly, make changes without your consent

They don't let you pay it off. When I tried to pay it off, they said add card details. When I did that, there was no way to pay. Then, my direct debits were suddenly coming off that card. When that defaulted because I wasnt expecting it, there was no way to make an overdue payment. When I queried it on an online chat, they said I had changed it and I needed to call them. They make it so hard to pay, but the late fees disappear quickly enough. I will never use them again

Ineptitude and customer avoidance is beyond belief

We purchased battery storage in December 2023, to the value of $13,990 which was PAID IN FULL by 31.01.2024. Today we received a no reply SMS " Hi xxxxx, just a reminder that a scheduled direct debit of $99.93 of your humm Purchase xxxxxx with xxx xxx xxx will be taken out on the 10/05/2024 (if there was a balance this date is incorrect). Please ensure funds are available before this date to avoid any fees." And now I wait and wait for a response!

Tried to great a password for my account, and was yet to give them any other details, and yet just got told "Sorry.

With the information you provided, we are unable to proceed." Straight away, with no reason.

Dodgy as

These people are scum.... Most give a date to pay, an you have untill the end of business hours to make said payment. These fools give you a date, say it's your pay day, but your pay goes in at midday. They will try and take the money first thing, then breach you for not having the cash. If they had waited till 1pm that never would have happened. They create the issues, and the debt people owe them from thin air. Very poor business ethics and I reckon an audit is due.

STAY AWAY FROM HUMM! Incompetent staff, zero knowledge and zero accountability. Even if a customer has had an excellent repayment history and has been with this company all throughout the transition to different names, unfortunately, you will meet a deadend where noone knows what to do and no clue on what the problem is with your account. One staff ([Name Removed]) from the “complaints” department wanted to transfer me back to “Customer Service” to submit a complaint when I was already talking to him! Yes, that type of giving customers the run around. Absolutely clueless on what the word “resolution” means!

Worst company with incompetent staff

Hi all id suggest that u never use certagy ezy pay as ive had nothing but trouble with them for well over a year now 3 times i rang to get a full pay out figure and was lied to all 3 times one guy said i had one payment the next said four the 3rd was a total doocje bag i asked to speak to management he spoke to me like i was scum between his toes apprently i have 2 more payments then i want my account closed they said it would be so i guess ill have to wait and see INCOMPETENCE not a good look for any company p.s if my account isnt closed i will take matters further

Beware. HUMM was previously known as FlexiPurchase. A terrible organisation with appalling service, hidden fees and will cause major issues with your credit file and score that will take years to amend.

I have had mix ups with account details (not the fact I can't pay) and the next minute they are threatening to take you to the debt collectors for being a couple of hours late on a payment DUE to a mix-up.
They give absolutely no leeway and then charge you $6 for a 'late' fee. I will never go through these guys again and I will be paying out my balance ASAP so I don't have to deal with the vultures. Oh add in the $8 account keeping fee. Never been treated like this in my life.

"Disappointing Experience with Humm Finance: A Cautionary Tale of Unresponsive Customer Service"

My experience with Humm Finance was extremely disappointing. I applied for financing to install a solar panel and was approved, but when it came time to sign the contract, the installer suddenly increased the price of the solar panel just because I was going through Humm. Despite Humm's contract clearly stating that they would address any price increases from companies due to financing through them, they failed to take any action when I reached out to them with all the necessary details, including email exchanges with the solar company. Multiple follow-up emails to Humm have gone unanswered, and their customer service, staffed by rude overseas representatives, has left a lot to be desired.

Happy to sign you up for a loan, “technical difficulties” when trying to pay it off

For the past week they’ve had “technical difficulties” preventing me paying off my entire loan, but are still able to sign people up to new lines of credit.
Seems pretty suspect and convenient.

How long are Humm Big Things approvals valid for? I thought only for 90days? I applied for himm big things 10mths ago, never used it and it still says $5,000 available.

I pretty much only used humm to help out with bills. Now you've taken that option away I'm chucking my card in when it's paid off. It's stupid and useless now. Good job humm, you've stuffed up.
