You are mistaken. The inst sheet shows how to remove the ni-cad battery and replace it. I rec'd the replacement battery yesterday from Amazon. I will charge it today and hope it was the problem. What ever you are talking about is not the Hurrican Spin Scrubber.

Hi Deb, it’s tricky. I’ve decided it’s how you hold your tongue or something lol! But seriously, I have found if I push the head in slightly, then rotate it clockwise it will eventually shift. Might take a few tries. Good luck!
