Great family car however small boot space – We do love our family car. It comes at a great price point for what you get. We have leather interior, reversing camera, heated seats. THIS CAR DOES FIT 3 CHILD RESTRAINTS IN THE BACKSEAT. I have had many people tell me it doesn't I had a friend upgrade her car because of this. When I was pregnant with my third bub I took my car to kidsafe and… Read more

they easily installed 3 child restraints in the back seat. This is a huge plus for the car. Fuel consumption is pretty good in my opinion. The only downside for us is the boot is smaller than anticipated, but still wouldn't change our decision this car is great value.

Great car - never missed a beat – I've had my ix35 for over three years now and it has never missed a beat. It is beautiful and quiet to drive, very comfortable to sit in and extremely reliable. We take this car to the beach frequently, have our 40kg malamute dog in the back nearly every day, plus our one year old, and the interior still looks as good as new. The only… Read more

frustrating thing I have found is on the odd occasion, the Bluetooth doesn't sync properly, though that is a very small downside overall.

If I fill up with normal unleaded I get about 550kms to a tank, and if I fill up with premium I get over 600kms to a tank.

I have mine serviced through Hyundai and the average cost is about $260 or so.

Will definitely be keeping this car as long as I can.

Great car for the money – My ix 35 is a diesel, it has excellent performance and handling. The only time the noise lets you know it is a diesel is at the first start in the morning. This SUV has a nicely finished interior and all the controls are easy to reach. There is plenty legroom and the climate control works a treat the family love to be in it. I have a boat and the… Read more

2L diesel does a great job towing. I have had the car from new (2015) and have had no problems at all, the service cost is reasonable for AWD and diesel. I get an average of 600 Km from 50L of fuel. This car needs to be appreciated for what it is, a family SUV with mild 4WD capability. It is comfortable and easy to drive for the Australian conditions and speed limits.

good value – This ix35 is the 2.4lt Elite 2014 6 speed auto and I find it comfortable , with most creature comforts you would expect . Not to big or small it is ideal for that big shop or trip to Bunnings to load up on all stuff you intended to buy plus the extras you didn't. Reasonably quiet on the road and quiet a willing performer. The two things that are… Read more

most annoying for me is that the side mirrors are not the electronicly folding for that time when parked to reduce the risk off having them nocked. Also the main screen for gps, radio ect is not angled enough to give the best view , tends to be affected by direct sun light. Fuel is as expected 9-10L around town but on highway travel at 110kph it can be oround the 8.5 l/100ks.

Overall a good package .

Great car – This has been a great car. I had an electrical issue with tail lights and parking lights which took several months to resolve due to the difficulty of tracking down the problem. However, the problem was solved eventually. I am very interested about the issues some people have with brake wear and tear. I am up to 51500km and recently had the… Read more

discs and pads checked as I knew the previous owner had not had these changed since new. I bought the car with 43000km on the clock. My money hungry mechanic told me that both discs and pads were like new. Perhaps driving technique plays a much larger role than most people think. One of the best cars I have ever owned in many years (at least 35 of them) behind the wheel. Particularly impressed with the fuel economy; we consistently get 45mpg on long trips. I think that's about 6l/100km. I would happily recommend this car.

Hyundai ix35 CRDi Elite – I have just swapped my Tucson City SE petrol for the diesel and can't fault it for power & comfort, this is my 3rd Hyundai, the warranty & road side assist, still running it in & the economy is around the 7.5/100km I know this will improve when I do a long trip, the Tucson improved with mileage. Have now done a long trip Brisbane to Townsville… Read more

only used two tanks of fuel around 6l/100km could not asked for anything better. Alround vehicle for me A little more expensive, but can't complain

Worn rotors & brake pads 45000 klm driven – Absolutely disgraceful 45000 kilometers need new pads & rotors not hard on brakes but just bad cheap parts very unhappy with the reason these cars are cheap but parts & services expensive my tyre power service centre can replace rotors & pads fr $435.00 compared to Hyundai $650 then want to charge $400 or 45000 service well I think its time to trade in back to Toyota.  Show details
