Rip off – These guys promptly came out to my aircon which was not working. Spent more time getting my credit card details. Took them a week to send me an email back saying I needed a new unit no quote for replacement part which was agreed all the $200 . I feel ripped off. Avoid

Appauling Service – IceCube people came and from the start was not impressed. No drop sheet used so I produced one. The "service" was platinum and came with a 1 year warranty. the web and decided I wouldn't have these people in my home again as the reviews were unbelievably bad. I contacted another company who took photographs of the problem in the roof that showed that IceCube hadn't carried out any work. No invoice was supplied. Most unprofessional.

Not happy – My split system needed service as it wasn't cooling down. Charged me $350 for service call and another $600 to play around with the unit. 2 years later, it's doing the same thing. Now they have disconnected the phones. Grrrr

This man number one crap! – This man is crap. Always charge $400-$500 and next day not work, call him back, no respond. Recomend everyone do not call him. Number one liar this man.

Terrible do not use – Came to fix airconditioner and told it would work. Charged $500 and next day it is broken, have called many times no response. Now I see on my statement I have been charged $764!!!

They have ripped us off and I'm lodging a complaint with the Office of Fair Trading – If anyone would like to join the complaint I'm lodging with Fair Trading, just write below. give as I said I just wanted my money back to go somewhere else. Now I'm going to seek to recover the initial amount, as well as be refunded for the 3 days off work sitting around doing nothing waiting for someone who never showed up! They clearly replaced the wrong fan, we had to turn the machine off as it sounded like it was going to explode.

Great Job – These guys were great from start to finish. Communication was outstanding and i knew what was happening every step of the way. They even have a quote book which gives you options and you can physically see what they are charging, haven't seen other tradies so efficient. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

Exceeded Expectations! – I couldn't recommend these guys more! They responded to my enquiry in a timely manner and provided fantastic customer service. I was worried that I'd have to wait weeks for my problem to be fixed but they arrived in no time providing a reasonable quote. I was happy with the job done and service provided. Dishonest lazy and downright dodgy! Avoid avoid avoid! – I contacted Ice Cube Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service to service our air conditioner. Two technicians came to our property. They confirmed that the air conditioner was in need of a service and that a water stain on a bedroom ceiling was caused by a blockage in the air conditioner. filter in the vent. The technicians advised they would need to perform a service and flush the system to clear the blockage and organize a custom made vent. The technician rang head office and we were verbally quoted $595. We were told the grill would take approximately two weeks to be manufacture and they would return to install it once made. We consented to the work being carried out and paid in full over the phone.

After 4 weeks with no communication we attempted to contact Ice Cube to find out when the vent would be delivered. Our phone calls and messages left with reception went unanswered so we tried our luck with emailing. We finally received a reply.

Two technicians returned in May to install the vent. It did not fit so they re-measured and said they would have to manufacture another one.

In June two technicians returned again to install the vent. It too did not fit so they re-measured and said they would have to manufacture yet another one.

It has now been over four months since Ice Cube carried out the original service and told us it would take two weeks for a new vent we are still waiting. I rang and spoke to [name removed] (apparently the manager). I stated I wanted a full refund as their customer service was appalling and I wanted to source another company to finish the job. He consented and attempted to process the amount back onto my credit card, twice. However it was declined on both occasions due to insufficient funds. [name removed] said he would speak to the company owner to transfer some funds so the refund could be processed. I asked him to call me the following day.

Of course he didn't call me so I called [name removed] again. He said he had spoken to the owner however he would not authorize a refund as the service of the air conditioner had been completed and we hadn’t actually paid for the vent despite it being included on the receipt! I said I wanted to speak to the company owner. [name removed] informed me that wouldn’t happen as the owner never talks to clients and refers all complaints to him.

We ended up getting another company to come and re-service the air conditioner and it was discovered that there was no way they could have performed the "flush" that they charged us as the air condition was not able to be access via the man hole! The air con was installed after the building was completed and so other the external part of the air con can be accessed due to internal construction. Ice Cube workers simple hung out in the ceiling for 10 minutes saying they were flushing the system! They didn't even have the compressed cylinder of gas that was needed to do the flush.

ATTROCIOUS - DO NOT USE – I paid $1500 for three wrong diagnoses of my air conditioning problem and five months on the heating stilll doesn't work and they will not return my calls or emails.

For me work was good but..talk poor – Used these guys twice, they are expensive but do come out and came on time, do the job blah blah. but second time they came, they took a panel off the fridge and forgot to put it back on which I recently got stitches cause of a sharp part exposed, love to go court, rate = dogs Anyway half there tech lefts ,

Very dishonest – Icecube diagnosed my fridge fault incorrectly and charged me for the privilege. They were then going to charge me for a very expensive and unnecessary part. I asked for a refund . My six phone messages and two emails were ignored. I finally I drove to the premises and asked the owner for my refund. Dishonest and dodgy. Would NEVER use again!

so bad! – 8.5.months pregnant and left my air con unfixed in this horrendous heat. Charged me 209 and did nothing. Even though i knew what they needed.to.do... they refused and wanted to.do all this unnecessary stuff. Called someone else and they even told me they were crooks. Charged me 150 and fixed the problem.

Do not use this company!!! – Absolute crooks! Charged $209 and left my fridge in worse condition than before they looked at it! Called 7 times to get them to fix the problem THEY caused and they would not return calls. Repairmen took 1/2 hr to put the covers back in my fridge as they couldn't work it out. Kept changing price of quote - absolutely disgusted with their whole attitude!

Terrible!! Charge money and do nothing – They charged by a $209 call-out fee and did nothing at all. Did not clean filters as requested. Did not send quote for other repairs. I left my number many times but NOBODY called me back at all.

Worst dealer I ever met. Don't waste time and let them play by themselves – Spent $209 calling out fee without nothing done. Crappy quotes and rubbish. Never touch again and again. Forget it!!! NOT recommended at all. They are hopeless.

Promising to send a quote but still waiting for a week without any contact. Tried to contact many times, only the answer to get is someone will call back, no one really call back. Waste my time. This is how this company do the business. I work with a lot of companies and no one as bad as this company.

Stuffed up the first time, wouldn't fix their mistake – My air conditioner was dripping, so I called these people. A few days later it started leaking again. They would only come to look at it for an additional fee. I didn't take this up as any decent business would take responsibility for repairing their work. I called a better company and they found a huge lump of sealant in the pipe, left by the Ice Cube.

Can you rate less than 1 star? – I called this company after our fridge stopped working. They said there would be a $165 call out fee but if we then used them to do the repair or replacement, the $165 would be credited towards that. 'we don't do new fridges' and left. I left multiple messages with the receptionist and never heard a word back from the manager. What a scam!!! Don't use this company. Wish I had read these reviews before calling. Hope somebody has the time & energy to take these guys to the department of fair trading soon!!!

Poor management, poor workmanship, non existent customer service – Words fail me -almost. response to customer complaints did not return phone calls at all. But 3 technicians apparently fired as held responsible for poor performance /service!

Eventually technicians attended and repeated message from management - they had been told to tell me that- I had in fact contracted for replacement not relocation (I wanted air conditioner put back to the position of the old one ). And therefore to line the units up so they were straight and parallel and flush it would be considered relocation and I would need to pay at least another $500!

Never ever ever use these guys.

Never use them – Instaled a new cool room, did not work. Call for a year. Never came back to fix it, always said be there next day. Worst part, will help insurance company to turn down your claim.

[Name Removed] on his mobile, no answer, called office. Guy on the phone said he didn't know what was happening and would call back and didn't. I rang again and demanded an answer. Apparently the part had been ordered but wasn't coming til next week. I asked for a refund as I paid by credit card they initially said no and I would have to put a claim in through their accounts department. I demanded the refund back to my card, after 20 mins on the phone they gave the refund. Thank you Ice Cube for leaving my children without a fridge for two weeks because of your terrible service.

Great Service, Friendly Staff, Best Prices in Sydney – Called them late one afternoon as my fridge motor wasn't working too well. He came early that evening to have a look, luckily Danny had the right replacement part in his Van and my fridge was back working as normal within 30 minutes. Great service – Called them out to repair our Coolroom the guy knew what was wrong with in 15 mins so I was pretty happy with that ,decent price but good an reasonable service with friendly service man. Overall quite happy , Coolrooms at 2 degrees and doesn't run anywhere near as long as the old noisy motor. Thanks again will recommend

Bad service and high end prices – Rang them to get a quote to replace reverse cycle air conditioner. They turned up 2 hours after the time they advised which raised alarm bells to me. Quote provided was very high and after reading other reviews on this site it has confirmed my thoughts about this company. I will not be calling this company again.

Terrible terrible company – Please please don't use this company, quick to grab your money.i had an air conditioner put in,buckets of water running everywhere,they don't answer phone calls rang 4 to 5 times. i eventually made an appointment they didn't turn up made another one same thing just didn't turn.not even a phone call.they say they have a 5 year warranty what a load of bull.

Fantastic service! – After calling icecube on a late Saturday afternoon, we received a mechanic within the hour and a repair was made on the spot. Pricing was reasonable and service was great, very friendly customer service. An explanation as to what was wrong with the fridge was also given. Highly recommend for immediate and efficient service. Very bad customer service, don't even return phone calls – I gave them a chance, took our money and wanted them back for a warranty fix up beacuse it was noisy compressor that they replaced. warranty if your not going to stand by it. If you want my advise take your money and go else where. Quick to service to get your buisness but it ends there. 24 hr service, yeah right!!! they said that it's getting late so they can't come over. All we wanted was the service that they had promised us.

Very bad after service, don't expect them to come out if you have a warranty problem.
