1 Rhen  · Constant outage without notification – Very frustrating! The customer service queue is 27 minutes. I guess that explains it. Having an outage for days now.

Great tech support – So I've had a problem with my internet for about 2 weeks, every tech support worker i spoke to was patient and very helpful. It did take and hour and a half with Edward but we finally got there. Now I can watch my Netflix again Thank you very much

Disfunctional to say the least – Its taken over 3 months for my 85 year old father on a remote property to get a phone service. This is after they shut down his Adsl 2 and conventional landline and told him he was getting nbn to the node. mobile so now I have to do all the setting up as gone are the days of a technician coming to do it . In the mean time this company has been sending bills to my father and not providing any service at all. He has insisted that he has a 2nd extension to his bedroom and wanted it all working the way it was before he was forced onto the nbn.. This now involves setting up a second nbn modem and compatible phone for the extension. After I set up the first connection and at least got him a line out. The time came to do the second as the 2nd modem turned up, this company a has 2 separate divisions, one looks after internet and the other looks after phone connections. They don't talk to each other. My father who has been billed for months of no service refused to pay until his service was complete the way it was. I tried to get their internet division to set up the second modem so we could install the extension phone and they demanded payment for the first connection that had only been on a couple of weeks! They then cancelled his first internet connection rendering him again without a phone. WTH. We are in negotiations at this time. Waiting for them to explain the bill. Not impressed with strong arm tactics. They are not winning any points from me. If I could give negative stars I would.

SCAMMERS!! – Do not use or have any contact with this company! Change immediately! They are sending bills to seniors even when they have changed providers in the hope they will pay anyway. Been four months disconnected and still receiving new bills with late fees. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

reconfigure the wiring and router... had to call other companies to find out it was just a phone tower outage. Also lines cut in & out & get blank calls- don't have this problem with new service provider.

Great service – Mitch was most helpful. We had two lines out of four not working - no dial tone. He was very thorough and got us up and running correctly once again. It appears those two lines had been diverted to an international line.

Excellent Customer Service – Have a occasional WiFi connection issue, less than 5minutes on hold waiting for Tech Support.... Mitch was the unlucky person who had to deal with me, very untech savvy.talked me through the workaround and we had internet connection again in UNDER 5 Minutes.. this guy new his stuff and was very patient with me typing slowly.. requirements. Even though any team member from this company could have looked at Pamela's previous phone plan, the outsourcing department just could not get it right.

After weeks of poor communication, being hung up on, put on hold for hours at a time and speaking to people who just didn't care or perhaps understand. Weeks of frustration, more than 6 phone calls and 4 attempted phone calls, numerous emails.

We lucked upon the lovely Danielle Furlonger, after one brief phone call, the Brilliant Customer service from Danielle, Danielle had it all sorted out for us.

Now Pamela has uncapped calls to the UK, a contract rate that is very competitive, credits that have been given for a service that was not active for a month, message bank at the need time allowed and the correct phone being sent in the post!!!

We could not praise up Danielle anymore. Thank you again.

Terrible do not use them – Worst service ever. Don't waste your time with them. Joined a new provider and problem fixed straight away. Technicians are rude and have no idea of what they are doing or saying. They just don't care. Obviously they don't need the business.

Dont do it. Please. This mob have cost me many many hours of lost business time – Yes internet and fax. Both services are very very poor. I would not recommend this firm to anyone. They dont make decent records and shuflle me between different sections. All appears outsourced to India. I have a difficulty in understanding their accents especially when spoken over the top of.

First class service – Extremely happy with the service I have received from IF Telecom. I had problems installing a new modem/router. The technical support I received was exemplary (clear instructions, friendly/courteous, patient). Excellent value for what IF Telecom charge. After installing new modem/router (NetComm Wireless)much faster speed than original supplied moden(TP-Link)

Do not go with this company they will rob you – Do not go with this company they will rob you .... my elderly mother is with this company her phone relies on internet service for her home phone to work ... she has gone mths with no connection no home phone though they keep sending bills ... customer service is disgusting . She has been awaiting 48 hours for her phone to be put on . Try to call them AGAIN line busy no call back . Worse scammers . Changing company's and contacting ombudsman.

ombudsman had to sort it out as I don't believe that there is one competent person that works for them in Australia and a lot of smooth talking subcontinental crap artists will waste your time and get you nowhere. After finding this review site I can't believe any business can get worse. ACCC has failed us again in not shutting down these scammers.

Absolutely Woeful!!! – This telecommunication company is absolutely hopeless...... Every time I have put in a request I have had to follow it up at least 3 times to get any action. Most phone calls have lasted between 30 to 50 minutes, most of that time I am on hold while the incompetent staff member tries to work out what is going on. Take my advice, use anyone else but this mob. They are absolute rubbish!

keep sending me bills and saying that they still have our numbers on their system. I have swapped over months ago to another legit provider and IF Telecom are still sending bills to us, double dipping. They are a nightmare and I have wasted months having to ring them every week to go over the same issues that they just choose to ignore.... DON'T GET SUCKED IN TO THEIR CHEAP DEALS!

still using my dongle I was not connected to their service and now I am being chased for nearly 700$ by a debt collector. The ACCC needs to stop them they are nothing but money grabbing thieves. What I have stated here is absolutely true so take my advice don't go near the Sods.

please do not be naive enough to believe they have changed. They are experts at gaining your confidence and then turning on you faster than anything you have ever experienced.

If and RED will promise you the world and will steal your money from your bank account even after you notify them they are no longer authorized to do so and will provide no services. When you leave, they will steal more money and threaten to sue you if you try and recover it. In our case, they shut down my company internet and phones for over 8 weeks with no efforts made to restore services and they would not release our lines to a new carrier. My actual story is too long to share here but suffice to say, stay away from If and RED telecom at all costs. Oh, and if you're wondering about the TIO in these cases, they are not there to help you as they are paid by the likes of these two, they ware not a government body and they do not bite the hands that feed them.

Sunday, I still have no phones and no internet. I rely heavily on take away orders (+50% of trade). As a result, I lost more than $1,500 because customers could not reach me. Also, during the change over to NBN, I was lied to several times about the charges. I'd love to go throught the tapes 'for training and quality purposes' and point out where they went wrong, bu, I can't get bothered to have anything to do with the company. Some of the techo's in India were OK when things needed to be worked out, but when things didn't work, it required 3 very long calls (+40min) before it got resolved. Groan. Never again!!

Total Rubbish – Do not deal with them, they are a unprofessional, they deal with there customers in the rudest manner, i have been treated like absolute garbage and spoken to like crap! i would personally never EVER think about using telecom and wouldn't recommend it for anybody!

Don't rate them at all – Totally hopeless, unprofessional and a rip off. They're the provider yet I have to figure nbn connection myself. Avoid them at all costs. I'm going back to Telstra. My phone line not working either. Ombudsmen now involved.

I was told due to large volume of faults in my area they can't come till Saturday. Its Easter we'll be away so now have to wait till next week. And if I want to cancel and get out of our plan early its $199 cancellation fee for internet and $99 for phone .. Definitely won't be re signing or recommending them now.

Painfully frustrating – Sent numerous incorrect SIM cards constantly put on hold. couldn't manage a simple phone diversion transferrred numerous times phone cut out whilst on hold (from their end) Pay the extra money and go with others
