Voit service is rubish This service is crap customers have to call 10 times for the call to go through and it leave a miss call on the other end but it dont ring. Avoid at all cost

actual VOIP connection on both the mobile, and on desktop can be quite poor, and on several occasions, I had to apologise to my clients and call them back on my regular mobile phone because the delay in the voice and the poor quality meant that they could not really understand me, and we could not have a conversation without interrupting each other due to the delay. It felt like we were going back to the days where there is always a lag when making overseas calls. I am comparing this to AussieBroadband's VOIP service which didn't have any issues with lag, and my new service doesn't seem to have the issue either. (again, it's too soon to tell for the new service)
2) Even though I was requested to sign up for a year long contract at the start to get the lower price instead of going on a month to month, Vonex decided to increase my service charge by 50% when they raised the prices on their services. While I understand that cost of business has gone up, but to raise prices by 50% is a significant jump. To be fair, when I raised this issue with them, they had waived my contract if I were to decide to cancel my contract with them. HOWEVER, now that I've ported my number to a new service provider, and cancelled my service, they have sent me a final invoice for a new month that I will not be using since the number was ported on the first of the month.
3) I originally signed up with Vonex mainly because their App would allow me to take phone calls even if I am not in Australia, which is something that I needed. And while that was the case when I first signed up, after 3 months, they updated their service to require users to have a VPN to be able to access the service when overseas. Which totally defeats the purpose of what I need in the first place. Again, the new service provider is able to give me that service.
This is my experience with Vonex. I stand by the initial review that their communication is prompt, with great customer service, but the after sales can be improved, because it feels like a business who hasn't really sorted out their technical capabilities, and is making it up along the way.

from Vonex is not very good; last year with no notice they appeared to discontinue the app we were using for our softphone, so we couldn't use the phone and had no idea why. Since updating to the new app, some technical difficulties have been solved with updates we didn't know were available. I'm grateful and pleased with the expertise of the technical support but with the communications of the company, not so much. I can't guarantee we'll stay with Vonex in the future if it remains like this.
Avoid at all costs – MyNetPhone was great, monthly invoices emailed, everything visible and above board. Once they changed to these Muppets, no more emails, everything through a portal (which was near impossible to access), also no point trying to use the "Forgotten Password" link, because you just end up circling back to the home page. Randy was an absolute champion when it came to helping me with my issues. He answered all of my technical questions quickly and competently. Replying to my questions lightning fast. Every time there is a Vonex issue in the office it is well known that Randy can help.
Voice mail became enabled for some reason, Phone showed voicemail envelope on base display and flashing red LED's on all handsets. Asked to disable all voice mail on my account and delite all massages. Everything was taken care off immeadiately, everything is back to normal now.
Randy was extremely helpful, we changed our email address and we didn't realise that the old one was no longer forwarding emails we were not receiving our voicemail notifications. He quickly fixed the problem and tested.
