iLearn eCollege was previously operating under the name iLearn Online.
Total scammers – I signed up, and paid, for a course but the company ceased trading before I could start. No contact from them regarding this and no refund given. They just stole my money and ran.
Would not use them again – I found ilearn college very slow to mark assessment and what they approved for one colleague did not approve for another colleague even though they had been working together on it and had basically the same thing. The set out of the coursework was hard to follow at times and was unsure what they wanted submitted. I wouldn't use them again and they… Read more
seem to wait till the deadline for assessment to be submitted is near and then slow up marking in anticipation of a extension request for more money.
No Integrity – I signed up to do a course online in 2022 and never received any direct communication via email as responses to any questions I had or help I needed. I only received general student email notifications about holidays etc. Waiting for assignments to be marked 5 months into the course was ridiculous. ilearn ecollege disappeared into liquidation… Read more
with no access via the student portal. No response to emails or calls. No recovery of assignments completed. No accreditation. No refund.

All about money making, don't care whether you finish the course or not – I enrolled for the Cert IV TAE a couple of years ago and then withdrew a month or two in and asked for a refund, as I felt I was not properly informed of what the course involved and I could not commit to it's requirements at the time. My refund was refused but my withdrawal was accepted. I am now in a position to be able to do the course, and… Read more
have asked them to please accept my initial payment and re-enroll. They will not allow this and they have asked me to pay again for the course. They did literally no work the first time in terms of assisting me or marking any assessments (because I did not do any of the work) but their argument is that I logged into the portal so obviously I did access the course and that is that. I'm really disappointed in this provider, they offer cheap courses for a reason. Their drop out rates are high and they don't care because they get to keep the money. Do yourself a favour and enrol with a reputable provider like TAFE. I badly regret spending money with this provider and I would love a refund so that I can spend the money getting a qualification with a more honest and trustworthy provider.
iLearn Certificate IV – Hello iLearn / People of ProductReview! I thought I would bestow upon everybody my experience of the vocational educational company, iLearn! I undertook the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment through this organisation (started August last year). I have decided to post a review examining the company and the course that I studied. I have… Read more
decided to give iLearn a 4/5. This should not be seen as a bad score, moreover that while I had a good experience, it was not mind-blowing. I do not have any major qualms to report, so I’ll highlight the biggest positive. Purchasing within Australia is a priority of mine, and after doing my research, it appears that iLearn are one of the few organisations that DON’T outsource any work. Given that communication is paramount, I would be frustrated if I had to deal with someone working in a different timezone! I can personally confirm that iLearn is Australian-based and uses all local staff. In summary, my advice would be to ASK ANY VOCATIONAL COMPANY YOU STUDY WITH IF THEY ARE 100% AUSTRALIAN BASED. Thank you iLearn, and good luck with studying everyone who decides to undertake the TAE40116! Kind Regards, Graham S
Don't believe what you read – Hey there! I'm a current student with iLearn and I was told by a little birdy that there weren't all fantastic reivews online. Bored, I've come online and have had a read - and WOWZA. Everyone who has given a negative review has complained about not getting a refund after starting the course because they didn't need it anymore, etc. etc. CMON GUYS… Read more
they are a company and they allocate a lot of resources! They also clearly state in their terms what is and isn't refund-worthy. Just astonishing how when people don't get their own way they lash out!
BUT ANYWAY, back to my experience so far. It's be great :) they really show they care about their students, I've gotten to know my trainer and he's had a similar background to myself! It's great that I can relate to the person overseeing my education :) the resources could NOT BE MORE straightforward either! So far I'm only partially through my course, and will post again at the conclusion but for now I suggest doing your own research and ignoring salty students who, when unable to get refunds, become keyboard warriors instead.

Tough Course but we got there – A very big thank you to the iLearn team. The TAE is NOT an easy course by any stretch of the imagination. I have to say that I had great support from when I joined up, until I completed the course. The team were superb and I got there in the end. Cheers. Yanni
Very supportive. Great course – I completed my TAE at iLearn and was very happy about the level of support I received from my trainer and the admin team. Highly recommend!
Very good course – I needed my certificate in TAE to teach others and I used ilearn ecollege because they offered good prices and you could study at your own pace. Just finished my course and I am very happy with my experience. They are friendly and courteous! Thank you staff at ilearn ecollege

absolutely worst college for learning, will never go through them again – I have signed up in 2022 and paid to do a course online and have not heard anything from them to see how things are going. this is very unfortunate and extreme lack of support and guidance. consequently, I have pulled out of this course, and they seem to not even care, you would have thought they would have followed up on why i haven't submitted anything and see if I needed any help. Refused to refund – My husband signed up with the aim of teaching Carpentry at Tafe before covid happened. Once he had decided he did not want to get the jab in NSW, he was not allowed to teach at Tafe. We requested a refund from ILEC and explained that the course would now be useless to him as he would not be allowed to teach. They refused to refund him instead… Read more
offering alternative courses (which would not benefit him in his work). Their "acceptable grounds for refund" policy have to be reviewed, due to the changes and mandates that have occurred since covid-19. Offering a deferral or alternative course is absolutely useless.
Dont expect your assessments to be marked within a reasonable timeframe – The course itself is useful and there are lots of materials on the website that you can learn at your own pace. I liked the assessments as it gives you practical knowledge and it is useful. However, the marking time is ridiculous. I am working in a college that have our students' assessments marked in 2 weeks' time, I browse through the… Read more
eCollege's student handbook and it says approxitaley 1 month. I submitted 3 units in Feb, and I have no feedback at all for 3 months. I then email admin and ask about the marking time and I quoted the sentence in the student handbook. They replied with a new student handbook that deleted the estimated marking timeframe, and tell me they are short of trainers and will get them marked ASAP. I received my first marking in July, which by that time I obvious forgot what I have submitted. Though the service quality changed dramatically closer to the end of the qualification. Probably due to an audit around July or probably just because my course is ending, trainers are being pretty quick in marking my assessments, and I finally get my certificate 1 year after starting the course, which I initially expect to complete in 2 months time.

GOOD COVID DISTRACTION – I was incredibly happy with the team at iLearn eCollege, my trainer really assisted me when I was having issues and the admin. staff are second-to-none. I received my course material quickly, and my certificate was justttttt sent out (yay me!). I would suggest iLearn to my family or friends without any hesitation. Show reply
Les and all the team at Ilearn were absolutely outstanding. Very quick responses – Les A. was my trainer and he has been absolutely incredible. I worked hard to achieve this certification quickly and each time I needed some help, Les was very responsive and thanks to him I was able to complete my certification in few months! Absolutely recommended. If you are looking to find the best way to change your career, Ilearn has what… Read more
you are looking for! Omg,I m just realising that I never wrote such a positive review before but I am so happy to have my Training and assessment certificate!
Loooonnng delays in marking and communication – Positives: lots of online resources facilitating self directed learning. Portal and documents became more familiar with frequent use. Negatives: multiple Assessors, delays of 2-3 months to have work assessed. Lack of communication, difficult to review comments of an assessed project when project was completed 3 months prior (hard to remember… Read more
project well). I feel like this course will never end, I have completed my work, just waiting for ilearn to do theirs.
Terrible service – Extremely slow marking and response times. I handed an assignment in in November and still hadn't received a response at the end of March. Even when I asked for a refund, I was meant to get a response within 20 days and it was more like 6 weeks.... Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, even if you have to pay more. I ended up signing up with another RTO paid 4 times the amount and am so pleased I did. Show details
Course = Certificate IV Training and Assessment – I was very satisfied with the Cert. IV TAE, actually I'm still finishing the course. After being halfway through I can tell everyone that the teachers are awesome. The price was good value (I didn't find cheaper) and the content was colourful and informative.
Still open + super supportive – I only signed up last week, and I was a bit worried with Covid that there would be issues or slower service time - and have experienced nothing of the sort. So far, everything has been sent to me in a timely manner and my emails have been replied to promptly. I haven't sent a unit off for marking yet, but the content looks great and I'm having no problems with it thus far.
Very slow response time on marking your assessments – Online course content is strangely organised, not engaging and onboarding not particularly helpful as you sift through the endless documentation. Took 4+ months to get assessment marked. Do not recommend this organisation, it's worth the extra money to study somewhere more organised. Show details
Not confusing at all imo – Visiting ProductReview to post about iLearn eCollege, saw the review below me said "confusing to follow" - it 100% is not confusing at all O_O - this is my third Cert course (all with different companies) and iLearn is by far and away the easiest to follow, they have files associated with each unit and I had no problem. Perhaps my advice would be… Read more
to make sure Certificate IV aren't too hard for you? The learning material is clean, concise and follows a logical order. The trainers, bless them - they're always willing to help. I wouldn't listen to the review below me, trust me on that one.

No support - takes months to mark your work – The course was very confusing to follow. When you did submit work, it would take months for iLearn to mark and give any feedback. I had all my work submitted by Jan 2019 and it took until April to with constant phone calls and emails to get my work marked. A co-worker submitted all of their work in August 2019 and we are still trying to get it… Read more
marked and returned in March 2020. They have been trying to hit her up for extra $ to extend her course because she's going to miss the course cut off.
Don’t be fooled by their low price – Don’t be fooled by the low price, the program is so confusing and mind boggling, the assessments are marked after 3 months, by the time you forget what you submitted, this is the second time I have had to upgrade my qualification as i am a teacher in the tafe sector, and I have never seen anything like this before, however they have one very good… Read more
trainers who actually helped me heaps to get me through, otherwise I would have joined another school for my upgrade. Me and my colleague both have the same experience with them
Good stuff – I did my certificate four course with ilearn ecollege and it was really fantastic. I chose to do the payment plan and I'm glad I did, it was hassle free and didnt break the bank. My trainer is very helpful and informative. Just generally a good bloke and up for a chat. He made the whole experience feel less stressful.
Christmas Study Break – Enrolled in my TAE a couple of weeks ago and so far it's been awesome. I'm only studying part time until the christmas break so I haven't gotten through too much of my course but I have almost completed the first unit and the material is mint, the teacher I've been assigned is AMZING and I'm looking forward to knocking this out of the proverbial ballpark over Xmas. 5/5!
terrible – Signed up for Cert IV upgrade. No marking in 5 months; contacted office twice regarding this matter - no changes. My course officially finished now, but I have no results, no feedback, no certificate. Very unprofessional
Great Instructor – I Just wanted to thank Mr. Nicholas Walsh for his kind assistance with my certificate. He is truly a great asset for his organisation and the industry. It was pleasure working with him , he is very knowledgable and competent with his work. I highly recommend him. Thank you Nick ! Sue S. Show details
if you want to save money study with iLearn eCollege – Online education will never replace face to face learning, but trying to do a Cert IV TAE in that matter is 2-3x more expensive; which is COMPLETELY impractical in my opinion. As far as online providers go, I did a lot of research before landing on iLearn and selected them as they were 1) Located entirely within Australia and 2) The trainer I… Read more
spoke to prior was very knowledgeable. So far, the course is exactly what I had envisioned - though it lacks the flair you could only get from learning face-to-face, it's definitely value for money.
Oh, for those like me currently stuck with daylight savings - iLearn eCollege is located in Queensland.
glad i gave them a chance – ILEARN ECOLLEGE popped up in my google when i was looking for the tae cert 4, and even though there were other competitors i really liked their professional website so i thought i would pick them. I am glad i did. these guys are simply top. they are located in queensland like myself and being local it was really easy to arrange voice chats. i got… Read more
my grades back quickly and when i finished my study i got given my certificate and easy as that. the only thing that was a slight problem was daylight savings. even in queensland i wasnt sure how that affected their hours and i am still not sure if they adjust to sydney time or not. oh well. thanks ILEARN ECOLLEGE
iLearn Online (eCollege now) Student – Apologies if this isn't the right company, it was suggested from ProductReview algorithm. iLearn is a great resource should you be trying to attain your TAE. I signed up, logged in easily enough, read through the course material, completed assessment and adjusted based off of the feedback. Honestly I could not design a more streamlined system myself.
