Today I visited Industrie store in DFO Essendon, will never shop there again. Musick so loud, it's like you in the night club. Staff member has chewing gum in his mouth.

same purchase ($99.90 twice). This was clearly their mistake. Since then, I have had to follow up FIVE times in person at the store and FOUR times by phone. Every time I explain the situation again, and the staff have already acknowledged that I was double-charged. What makes this even more frustrating is that every visit required about a 60-minute round trip drive for me just to go there and return home. So I’ve spent hours of my time and fuel simply trying to correct a mistake that they already admitted. Despite acknowledging their error, they still have not refunded my money. This is completely unacceptable. A simple billing mistake that should take minutes to resolve has now required nine follow-ups, multiple phone calls, and hours of driving, and it is still unresolved. That level of incompetence and lack of accountability is shocking. Customers should not have to chase a store repeatedly just to get their own money back. At this point it feels like they simply don’t care about fixing their own mistake. I will never buy anything from Industrie again, and I strongly do not recommend this store to anyone.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND I don't know where to begin with this brand, but do yourself a favour and void them. The quality of their materials is abysmal. Credit/ Gift cards used to be valid for 3 years, and they've reduced it down to 12 months. Worse yet, once you use a gift card after an online purchase, and bring an item back to store, you get a store credit that can only be spent in the physical store. And they reduce the validity back to 12 month. The physical stores lack 3/4 of their online collection too, so you are stuck with a credit that can not be used essentially.

That seems to be the whole point for them, because when I have dealt with their customer service, it was slow to reply and unhelpful.

As stated, do yourself and your wallet a favour and stay clear of this store.

Dissatisfied. Completely rubbish quality garment. Paid $90 for a “performance tech” pair of pants that looked wrecked after 2 wears sitting to dinner in restaurants. This companies ethics is in the toilet - to sell items at top dollar and have them wear worse than cheap kmart. Don’t buy at this store. Show details

I’ve been a long term industie customer for as long as they’ve been around. Industrie clothing’s tech performance range is anything but. The quality is so poor and not fit for purpose. All of the products if purchased are pilling after a short amount of use. I’ve already had one pair of tracksuit pants replaced due to seams falling apart. Not worth the money. Show details

Industrie products fall apart with normal wear – Industrie products fall apart with normal wear. Pictures are current products. I have brought the matter to their attention. Their customer service is very adolescent. I encourage all those with faulty products to contact consumer protection/fair trading in their state to make a complaint.

Came to the Southland store on Saturday and was served by a girl with an accent. She was so helpful and approachable. I was after a specific pair of shorts and she let me know those had just been packed up to be sent away which I was so bummed about but then she said she would go through the box to find them for me! I was able to get the shorts, she went above and beyond. Excellent service.

Fantastic Service! – A regular shopper at Industrie. Great quality and range. A shout out to Sahar at Industrie Myer Castle Towers, who shows a real focus on exceptional customer service. Knowledgable, friendly and helpful service and went over and beyond finding an exchange item. A great ambassador to the brand. Well done and your efforts really appreciated.

Bought from Industrie only to realise it was a ripped/faulty item. Industrie has stated they will not refund the faulty item, just a store credit which I do not want. Will not be shipping there again! What a scam! Waste of money as they have essentially stolen from us Show details

Good designs for most part. Poor Quality. Example - $80 for hoodie which is made from thin cheap material when you get a quality 400gsm(heavy) hoodie for $50. The brand has gone from niche to mainstream which is not appealing, to me anyway to become more of a sausage factory inflating prices, reducing quality as popularity grows.

unprofessional. I also followed up multiple times asking for a refund, which they refused. This experience has been incredibly disappointing. I will never purchase from these stores again and strongly advise others to be cautious. Very dissatisfied with the way this was handled.

TERRIBLE COMPANY – False advertising for their products in retail! Putting red tag but full price in counter. No workaround provided by staff and manager. This happened in Industrie Pacific Fair. Terrible experience. Tried to reach out to their Instagram and online support but even worse for not giving workaround. Reported it already to ACCC. Don't even bother buying one.

Terrible – They are really bad. I placed my order online and almost a week passed and they still haven't shipped the item. Even their clothes are not worth the money. Don't buy from them, the quality is not good for that price.

credit. At no time was I told this. I asked to speak to a manager and the kid at the cashier told me he is the most senior one, having been at the company for a year. When explaining how put out I am to now have store credit at a men's only clothing store (in a business I will NEVER support due to their scammy ways), another store attendant raised her voice in front of other customers in line (although I was speaking in a civil tone of voice) chiding me and waiving her fingers at me that they have a (tiny print) sign up and that it's written on their receipt. Awful, disgraceful behavior for a retail business to rob customers like that and take our money against our will. I'm filing a complaint with ACCC as practices like this have to stop! - or at least clients must be informed that once you hand them money they will not deal fairly or reasonably with you. I was not given my original receipt back as all other stores do, but instead was handed a credit note. I wonder how much straight cash this company gains from unsuspecting customers like me having zero use for their credit note and zero recourse. Definitely not acceptable.

In order to qualify for a return you must: 1) Complete a pdf form listing a full description of all the items including serial numbers that are not on the original order summary. -This information is already recorded against the original order No which they have on file. They could also capture this data online and store it against the generated return No. 2) Include a printed copy of the tax invoice. - They don't provide an invoice in the parcel, so the customer must search for it in the online portal and print.

By requiring multiple unnecessary items to be printed, when they are surely aware that few people have a printer, they are increasing the administrative workload and therefore likelihood the customer will give up or make an error which they can use to deny the refund.

This is some real Qantas sh#t, I ain't happy.

Worst of the worst – Do not buy from Industrie. Not only is it a scam but they don’t want to resolve any issue. They don’t offer refunds and the only way you find out is after you purchase. Shop with them at your own risk - they do not take returns – Their customer service is terrible. I have been trying to return two items I purchased which do not fit at all. I lodge the return on the correct page on their site. It said I'd receive an email with instructions on how to return. I never received it. I have emailed them multiple times and no answer! I have 30 days to return and get a refund, but they refuse to respond. I am considering legal action.

Stay away!! – Industrie don’t even deserve one star for their quality! I have purchased two jumpers from industrie that have both been terrible quality, both ended up piling after 30 days. Terrible 'New' basic crew design – Use to love Industrie for years, but what they have done to their staple basic crew t-shirt is criminal. Crew Tee', this shirt does not have any fitted shape, too large, unnecessarily heavily weighted and terrible colourways. It also does not hold up in the wash over time, further losing shape.

I hope they see this, because you don't ruin your best product that complimented your entire range, especially the Cuba chinos/Drifter Cuba/Bahama Angler shorts. Get better please, know your products appeal and success story. Bring back The basic Crew and get rid of the 'New' version, it's honestly terrible.

Contacted support and basically told sorry, not sorry! My 14year old is now stuck with credit for a store we cannot purchase from. Not the service you would expect from a franchise or this size. Disappointing, won’t be buying from them ever again!

Poor quality men's natural colour draw cord linen shorts – Bought several pairs of linen shorts for my son. White ones are good. by me that shorts faulty and when I said I wanted to talk to Myer staff instead of them as I knew Myer would replace, but then Industrie worker told me I would not be able to exchange again if a problem. Now, replacement pair: exactly same thing has happened again after two careful wears and before second wash. Looks like weakness/flaw in this natural colour-linen as quite thin around waist compared with the white shorts or could be that fabric damaged by label sewing. Very disappointing given paid $55.96 (on special - original price $69:95). Poor quality product (this particular product: have bought many other trouble-free items in past) but also terrible customer service.

Response time is terrible. They won't even offer me a shipping code or discount code so I can place another order to by an item to replace the item that was not sent. Extremely poor customer service. My order number is 3236447.

Worst customer service – Bought some product and waited a week with no ETA on delivery. I emailed them asking for tracking and only when I asked did they advise that it was out of stock and I wouldn’t receive my order. Not sure why they would advertise product that is out of stock, or why I had to ask for an update for them to tell me that.
