Great and easy to function – This carseat was purchased a few months ago. I found it was the easiest to work with in regards to tightening and loosening the straps as well as tilting the seat for comfort. Its lift and twist feature is so handy and makes it alot easier to find the right height for my son. No complaints at all.

WORST crep rating ever – These seats were good and i thought they were best on the market with all the promotion of the harness until 8 years but it scored the worst ever in the CREP testing. It failed 3 critical features of the testing! I was horrified my child was in this seat in both cars so i sold them. Heavy seat too. I ended up sticking with same brand but got the… Read more

Comfi seat which my son still fits in the harness and will probably do so until 7 years anyway due to high shoulder markers. Don't buy this one- do your homework. Infasecure said they were asking it to be rested as they didn't feel it was an accurate rating.

Do not buy this seat until you look at CREP – I purchased three of these seats costing me over $1000. I thought that they looked sturdy and due to the price would be the best of the best for my children. At the time www.crep.com.au had not completed their extensive testing/review of this seat but it was to be reviewed soon. The results are now in and infa secures evolves serious gets 1 out of… Read more

5 stars!!!!! I have contacted the company and they have unsurprisingly advised that they think the seat is fine as it's "legal" and have requested a new test to be done. Personally I am beyond annoyed and will never buy infa secure again.

You can not put a price on childrens safety – I love this chair! Its secure and safe for my 5 year old son and didn't cost an arm and a leg to purchase . It was easily installed and with the recline function fits nicely into my car with out gaps and movenment!. My son loves the little mesh pockets on the seat protector an stores his glasses and matchbox cars in there. He was a little… Read more

disappointed the arm rests didnt fold up but we agreed that was okay considering the others we looked at with moving arm rests didn't have the cup holders.

One thing I could say is it would be nice if the cup holders were bigger so that majority of childres drink bottles would fit in nicely as they are quite slim.

Very good – It is easy to install and uninstall very quickly. And it provide more space for the kid than those convertibles car seats of 0-4 years. kid has more space and it's comfortable for them after they are getting bigger. The price is reasonable. It is very durable and strong structure.

Comfortable and safe – This cosy and well padded car seat is a breeze to install. No awkward reaching or too tight slots. My son recently had a vomit all over the seat and it was easy to take apart and all machine washable. The covers all just click back into place with very easy to follow re installation instructions. Overall it is safe and i have no worries driving around with my son harnessed in.

good carseat, value for money – It is not the easiest car seat to install. Installation requires the cover to be taken off and the press study aren't super easy to do up. The cover seems to be bitsy and has heaps of gaps where it comes adrift and crumbs get stuck. The seat seems very comfy for children 18m to 4+. Very roomy and love the way it reclines with the seat of the car,… Read more

and easy to recline with gradual recline mechanism. The straps are very easy to adjust with the twist and lock mechanism.

I wouldn't recommend for children smaller than 18m they seem to fall to one side or flop forward without the proper support of a car seat.

Can't comment on children bigger than 4 but my child is still very comfy at 4and a half.

Easy to clean the covers as they are all in bits and you can remove just one part to clean. Although the belt covers are extremely difficult to remove.

Great the way the harness is suitable up to 8 years

Not ideal – We bought one of these days when expecting our second child, mainly because of the inbuilt harness making it suitable for older children without needing significant changes in the installation. Unfortunately, the installation of the seats is not as simple as with other brands of seat, and despite the claims that the cover can be removed… Read more

easily for washing after installation we found that due to the belt running under the cover that it didn't sit quite right when installed to allow for this

Moving on to the actual practicality of the seat, these are very wide at the top, so no hope of fitting three seats across a standard sized vehicle if one of these is included.

The seating position for children is also not great, and unless your rear seats have an adjustable backrest then the child's head is constantly lolling forward. To avoid this we shoved a towel in behind the seas to push it forward and allow us to make use of the fact that the back rest is adjustable.

These seats are also bulky more generally, so not good for transferring between multiple vehicles.

Overall I would not recommend these seats due to the seating position in a standard vehicle.

Love it! – We have this seat for our currently 5yo, purchased when she was nearly 4. We love the ease of use with the in-built harness, we don't need to take the seat our of the car any time it needs the height adjusted. This is a pretty big seat, so I wouldn't recommend it for younger children but it is perfect for the 3-8yo crowd.

Love this brand. Highly recommend – Have this for both our kids and love it. They seem to love it and look very comfy in it. Easy to get in and out to swap from car to car. Easy to remove the padding straps ect to was. Highly recommend this brand. We have it and both grandparents have them for their cars too.

Great except for the recline – Great carseat that was professionally installed. It looks good, and fits well in my small sedan. My only complaint is that its recline is very poor - my tall 2 year old often sleeps in the car and her head flops forward. Based on that I wouldn't purchase it again.

Recline is very bad. Other then that great! – Had this car seat for over one year now. It's very comfortable. However major downfall is the recline is crap.. it's a very upright seat so when my 18 month old falls asleep his head is always flopping forward. Luckily most of his sleeps are in his cot so it's not a big problem to us however for my new baby due I'm getting the britax safe and… Read more

Love everything but – Seat is pretty easy to install. Looks comfortable, except for sleeping. The seat is too upright and DD head falls forward without fail putting her In a very uncomfortable position and leaving her with pain. It's a shame because I really wanted to like the seat. I wouldn't buy again, comfortable sleeping is important.

Good seat except for the recline – Easy fit for 3 across the back of my car, great wearing fabric and cushioning however the recline is hopeless. I'm getting rid of it just because my daughter keeps slumping forward when she sleeps in the car (often as we drive a lot) despite doing everything suggested by an Infasecure rep and a Facebook car seat group.

Pathetic recline! – This seat does not have multiple recline positions as mentioned- raising your kids knees by tilting the seat doesn't recline the child. Most uncomfortable seat for my child and wish I hadn't spent $400+ on it! Had seen it as an investment for my second but will not be using it

Great car seat! – I recently purchased an Evolve for my almost 5 year old. We were facing the 3-across-the-backseat dilemma, and after only purchasing a certain well known brand of seats since our oldest was born, I gave in decided to take a look at Infasecure in desperation to find the right combination of seats to fit. all the way up to 8 years of age, so the first and most important factor for me is knowing that my son will be safely restrained right up until he's ready to progress out of a booster and into a normal car seat. Secondly, whilst the width of the wings of the seat is a bit larger than other seats I've owned, it has a narrow base which makes it easy for me to install the seat next our capsule whilst still allowing room for another seat on the other side. Thirdly, it is comfortable! It has a really well designed and supportive seat shape, so my son has been very comfortable in it and doesn't complain that it hurts his back, unlike some other seats we've used for him in the past. Lastly... it's easy to adjust without the need to remove the seat, which is just the best thing since sliced bread - and it's quality, so I know it will last the test of time and we'll be able to use it for at least 2 of our children, if not the third also!

I didn't know what I was missing out on until I bought Infasecure. I will never buy any other brand of car seats again :-)

Good car seat – This is a good car seat. We have been using it for our 2 1/2 year old for about 5 months now. We bought the aqua colour as it was on offer at the time. first time. There was no discolouration of the seat covers or issues with the material.

Height adjustable head rest is a big plus.

I will certainly recommend it to others.

The one thing that it misses is a catch to hold the seat belts away so the child doesn't sit on it. Without this catch it is a little awkward to retrieve the seat belts from under the child to clip in.

Absolutely Love This Seat – I purchased this seat a few months ago for my 2-year-old and he loves his ktm orange seat. He is quiet tall for his age and I love the fact that I just have to twist and lift to adjust the height. No more fiddling with straps and he can stay in the 5 point harness until he is 8. It’s super easy to install into the car and doesn’t move around at all. Highly recommend this seat to others. Show details ·  1

Best seat I've owned! – I brought our evolve a few months ago as my 5 year old daughter had almost outgrown the inbuilt harness of her previous seat. kids. My daughter loves her purple seat and her younger brothers fight over it when she's not in the car so it must be comfortable. The recline works well too and we don't have any head flop from any of the kids. I find it easy to loosen and tighten the straps and while the install was different from all my previous seats it was easy enough to do and was very tight. Overall we loved the seat so much we are about to buy another one for our 4 year old and down the track we will also get one for the 2 year old. It is a fantastic seat that i would have no hesitations in recommending to anyone.

Great seat - install & leave it there! – Great seat - my 4yo says it's really comfy & it does seem comfy & secure, super simple to change height of restraint for smaller one to sit in big sissy's seat. Fantastic Seat – I am passionate about rear facing children for as long as possible, and my 3 year old daughter was still rear facing when I reluctantly started hunting for a forward facing seat for her that I felt she would be safe in. I cannot say enough positive things about the Evolve and I am ecstatic that I will be able to keep her in a harnessed seat until she is 8 years old.. My most precious cargo in my car is traveling safely and in style :)

A few complaints after only a months use – The tightening sash has worn marks already on either side. Doesn't look good and I've only been using it for a month, how long is it going to last? Not easy to adjust head rest like you see in their video. Cannot recline once installed. Not happy with it all really.

process. – Every mummys favorite word when it comes to cleaning – EASY.

Have you sat in the back of the car fighting a fearsome battle & been about ready to toss the damn seat out and kick it until its nothing but tiny bits of plastic because you can’t for the life of you adjust the straps to the right height to ensure your child is safe ?

Well, With the InfaSecure Evolve all it takes is one hand. The ‘Twist & Lift’ button is accessible from the headrest underneath the padding which easily slides away, So even if you have a screaming, kicking, wriggling & teething baby, It is possible, stress free & completely do-able even for the most car seat illiterate person

* I really suck at car seat adjusting and installing*.

The Evolve is the first child restraint in Australia to allow the use of a six-point-harness from approximately six months through to a large eight year old, offering superior protection to a wider range of children for longer. The adjustable height harness buckle can be adjusted without removing the restraint from the vehicle, and new twist-resistant straps make your day to day use a little less frustrating. No more worrying about the booster seat dweller playing escape the seat belt and listen to mummy scream to put it back on the correct way!

The InfaSecure Evolve offers your child a full 180° of protection with Air Cocoon Technology,

It is the ultimate source of protection to your child. The Air cocoon technology offers an increased protection across the entire surface area of the restraint. The Evolve features a Dual Layer Air Cocoon Technology headrest, and reduces crash energy to the child more than five times lower than the level required by the 2013 Australian Standard. No add-ons, no upgrades and no extra cost. InfaSecure are for families & pride themselves on the safety of your child by providing the best in quality car seats.

The Gradual Recline system is extremely easy to use, allowing unrestricted recline positions which can be changed without removing the restraint from the vehicle. With the addition of convenient pop-out cup holders your children are always comfortable, regardless of age. The addition of the cup holders is a welcomed one, Even with cup holders in the door it’s too hard for the kids to reach safely (especially whilst driving) to grab their drink.

With features that make the Evolve one of the easiest seats to use, and a six-point-harness that fits a large eight year old, and dual layer Air Cocoon Technology, The Evolve is the most advanced child restraint InfaSecure have ever created.

I can’t recommend the Evolve enough. After using it constantly for the past couple of months, I cannot find one fault. It is so easy to wash, Install,Adjust, All the features are accessible, It’s comfortable & The safety features are above standards .

This is a car seat that has thought of all the needs for safety, comfort and ease of use and knocked it out of the park.

I was also very impressed at how the Evolve can fit into any car ( that I have tried so far ). I have had the Evolve in 4 seperate cars, Each being a different make vehicle and each time it has fit perfectly. Michaels seat is in his Daddys sports car & the seats are race seats and STILL the evolve fits with no issue.

Here is a run down on the features:

Love love love the evolve! – i purchased 2 of these for my 5 and 7 yr olds as my 5 yr old son was at the turn to booster mark on his old seat and I wasn't comfortable with him using a seat belt. instantly fell in love with the bright colours! My daughter was happy to go back to the harness because she was able to have a pretty purple one! I love the easy adjust straps on them as I also have a 2 yr old who loves to sit in her sisters seat when she is at school so being able to adjust the straps without uninstalling the seat is great! Removing the covers without uninstalling the seat would be a great feature if you only had 1 or 2 car seats installed but as I have 3 across my back seat it isn't the easiest thing to do. I find it easier to just uninstall the seats.

Love our evolve – I love this seat. So easy to get a good install by following the instructions. The depth of the seat makes a huge difference to kids with long legs and the twist and lift headrest is the best thing ever created. get a good recline and a good install. Obviously this can be fixed by using something to support the recline (towel/pool noodle) but I hate doing that. I have older children so not a huge issue for me but definitely something that needs reviewing from a design point.

Not the easiest to install – Once the carseat is in the car it is great - comfortable, easy to adjust, safe etc. However, we have two cars and need to swap the seat in and out every few days, and it is becoming a bit of an annoyance.
