Street light repairs very effecient – I just want to praise Integral Energy for the rapid response time to repair our latest group of street lights that went out. On the previous two calls I made they repaired our local lights within the promised 10 working days, (closer to 5 days) but the other day when another group of lights went out, they actually repaired these within 24 hours..... amazing!!  Show details

This company is quick to place defaults on credit rating – I changed from this company to AGL after a female staff member was arrogant & not understanding when i fell on hard times. I paid my account a couple of months late (7years ago) but had only discovered that this company was the only one to place a default on my credit rating. Integral was very quick to place the default and its still sitting there… Read more

i discover two years later. The default remained on my Credit file until it was time to drop off.

This company is risky to deal with in my opinion.

Im glad i changed to AGL! Theyre very understanding.

Does anyone even know their own policies in this place? – Every single time you call a Customer Rep you get a whole different story about the different ways you can pay your electricity account. One rep told me that even though I was on a 12 month plan paying $50 via direct debit, my electricity would still be cut off unless I switched to a "payment plan" of $50 a fortnight paid via Bpay? I asked to… Read more

and there's more – Integral have now offered a "commercial" offer to resolve my complaint. A credit of the balance they see owing by myself to them - leaving a nil balance owing to them. Integral Energy seems to be losing energy – Poor Integral NSW. First offered me a miserable overall 2% discount to renew, then upped it to an attractive 10% but could not match its owner, Origin's, 14% discount on usage PLUS a $175 rebate with Origin Victoria, 1 year contract offer. No real effort to save my account. Told them twice of the Origin Vic offer to give them a chance. No… Read more

dice.

Seems like staff and management in Integral lost motivation and interest following take over by Origin. Thought they are now one and the same?

Loved Integral 4 years ago. Loved them 2 years ago. Now still love then and not as much.

Seems to be losing its energy . . . . . . . . . :-( Very good call centre staff. Why play games giving me a 2% discount on renewal? Did you think I will not shop around? Cannot match its head office's offer. Why? Thought Integral and Origin are one and the same?

Single pensioner charged over $300 a quarter – I recently received a bill after not receiving one for 9 months, my bill for this period totaled over $900. Perhaps they read the wrong meter because there is no way a single pensioner who isnt home for 3 days a week can rack up a bill that high. I am sick of speaking to call centres in India, give me an aussie and my money back Expensive, late bills

Terrible – Integral Energy charges 'EXTENSION RATES' to its customers who want to switch over to a different supplier. It is extremely impossible to switch over on the midnight stroke of the last day of contract due to various practical issues. It takes next billing cycle at-least. Now Owned by Origin and it shows – I have never experienced a company that has gone down hill so fast since the take over by Origin. They have put me on to time of day billing for our electricity without asking and have blamed it on Energy Australia. Arriving today in the mail is a quarterly bill, but instead of standard charges that have been charged throughout my time with… Read more

Intergral. My home is now being billed for time of day billing, with a whopping 39.7cent per KW for peak periods. Intergral has never asked and I have never requested time of day billing, so I was straight onto the phone. The very helpful Intergral operator told me that she has been told that it is an Energy Australia issue, but her response sounded very scripted and she ended the call by saying that when I contact Energy Australia they will tell me that it is Intergrals problem and I will probably have to contact Intergral again and should talk to the Intergral Supervisor.

Contacting Energy Australia they explained the situation that the meter was changed 18months ago and it now has the capacity to be used as a smart meter, the format of the read has changed, but Intergral is the one that has changed my billing and put me onto time of day billing.

So back to Intergral and again the operator told me a very scripted response, repeating that it was an Energy Australia problem. When I repeated what I was told by the Energy Aust operator, she didn't refute the information and said that I could put in a complaint.

I have checked my agreement with Intergral and have clearly signed up for standard billing.

Intergral, it is not good enough just to blame someone else. I signed a agreement with you. Honor it. Doesn't take long to get through to the call centre to complain They do not honor a signed agreement

Lousy customer service – I rang Integral to try and change my billing address. I have decided to help relieve their problem of having too many customers by taking my business elsewhere.

Bad – Integerals Customer Service operators lack skills more specially need to be trained on "how to speak to human beings". They also need to come around each quarter to do meter reading instead of having 1 huge bill people can no more afford to pay as the cost of Electricity has risen sharply over the past 8 years. Was with Energy Australia had to… Read more

move over to Integeral Energy when I moved to the South West Sydney area, Cons are all I can talk about, the service is horrible specially the Customer Service operators they keep you on hold forever, very often are rude and be prepared to get transferred 2 or 3 times to repeat your incident/problem. Most often the meter is not read it is just an approximate based on last year or previous quarters, so if you do get an exceptionally small or huge bill that must be the actual meter reading from a year old.

brilliant – The guarantee on the contract (no other retailer offers a guarantee on the rates, all rates are subject to change between the normal Government regulated rate change on the 1st of July each year), ie a GUARANTEED discount off the GUARANTEED notified prices for the term of the contract. from Origin. Bills are easy to pay on the Internet, and come regularly, provided Energex isn't lazy with their meter reads. Customer service is fine... understanding each individual I speak to is only human, as am I, allows me to overlook the occasional fault. On the note of customer service, I can UNDERSTAND what they're saying as all their call centers are in Australia and manned by people who have spoken English all their lives (as opposed to the jibberish-laden Indian English I've had to handle with Origin, not being racist but if I can't understand someone how can it be deemed customer service?). Not infallible, no company is, but the better of the 11 major electrical retailers in QLD so far. Guaranteed low rates (not the lowest but the guarantee means they won't change, someone with lower rates could easily change em during the course of the contract), no expectations unmet, generally good quality customer service, satisfactory billing standards nothing major... some poor quality customer service can be reduced to an employee having a bad day, but i'm not gonna let one bad experience with a sales rep ruin my overall opinion of the company. The company is primarily an electrical retailer, and they do the best job in QLD in that regard, customer service notwithstanding.

had gone up). Can't do and you have to pay the Energy Australia rates for time of use which are 50% higher than Integrals. EWON involved but Integral didn't want to discuss any further with me. After several phone calls, they finally relented and said they wouldn't charge the 'early termination fee' as they will not keep their end of the contract. As consumers we have no rights, and apparently if you change to a smart meter, then the energy provider can charge whatever they like. Be careful, be warned. Would have stayed if the problem was solved quickly without the lies and they charged me their published prices, not someone elses.

do not stick to what they say or what you sign up too. no willing to negotiate

Excellent – We signed up with intergral and are now renewing our contract!!! They have been great! I told him that I had been speaking to another person. He knew nothing about it.He was able to sort out my question which was to make an arrangement to pay my account. Haven't found anything yet I tried over a period of three days to get through to the advertised "customer service" number for Qld. I waited for an accumulated total of about one and one quarter hours and left three messages for someone to ring back. No one did.I went from "you are customer number three" to You are customer one" before being cut off and asked to leave a message and some one will call you back.HaHaHa.
