Avoid at all costs

I've been a customer of Internode for many years and have watched their service degrade from industry best to industry worst. ADSL services were cut on March 14 and no warning was given, a popup appeared suggesting I was in arrears (I wasn't) and normal service would be resumed within 90 minutes if I paid up. In fact the issue was the ADSL service had been made redundant. I was assured by them that I would be reimbursed for the couple of weeks service I had paid for but been denied.....still waiting. To add insult to injury they debited my credit card for another month on March 29. Pitiful, promise the earth and never deliver. Thieves.

No happy

I've been with Internode for 12 years. I recently changed over to this home broadband.
Well, interestingly the day I get the bill is the day it's due, apparently that's how this home broadband works.
What a terrible idea. Would have been good to be told that before. So I have been informed if I paid today, my account won't be suspended. Oh how grateful I am for that.
I was also told that internode no longer have a customer service in Australia..I can't talk to anyone from Australia anymore..!!! Not impressed Show details

Stealing from me

They keep stealing my money. I have moved house, and transferred my internet connection from the old house to the new. Despite calling several times I continue to be invoiced and direct debited for the old house and the new house.
This is on top of paying for more than two months in advance. The old account is now invoiced until mid April (time if writing is February).

Was a happy customer until the service became unreliable and didn't exist for at least an hour a day every day. Unable to contact or get reply from internode. Cancelled and got a new provider which led to the current dilemma which is not being able to cancel account. Ongoing issue over 2 years. Would never recommend internode. Show details

Old Internode is long dead

Was an loyal Internode customer for years back when they were Adelaide based, never had a problem. Mid last year my modem died and I got a new one and the problems started. New modem kept dropping out and no internet on occassion, multiple calls to the tech people along with offshore call centres that gave me contradictory information. I finally asked for a new modem, the same problems continued, more phone calls and then a TPG tech came on site and advised "all fixed", but it wasn't. After I switched to ABB, asked for a phone call to lodge a complaint and was ignored. I've been with ABB, not a problem since. Don't bother with Internode, waste of time and money. Show details

Was good now crap at best !

Long time customer, used to be great until tpg took over. Now the connection speed is sporadic. Takes twice as long to watch a show on tv. as keeps dropping out every few seconds.
Now looking for new providers.

Sad to say, Internode the once go-to is now just the average at best

Customer for 21 years, yes 21!

I decided to move to Aussie Broad Band as speeds were getting worse, call up to notify then of my move, I was offered an upgrade to stay, speed did not increase, called to inform them, their tech could not assist, 2 days later still crap speed, time to move on.

Once premium, it is now just average, It's sad to see. Show details

Appalling Customer Service

A simple re-location turns into hard work, after 3 attempts in trying to get the appointment details correct and still not correct. Then to send the modem to the incorrect address, the customer service teams were about as useful as an ashtray on a motor bike.

I have notice the call center is now overseas, which dosnt help the situation. After 20 plus years through Adam Internet, Inter-node I have finally canceled and moved elsewhere. Show details

Great customer service which is rare nowdays

I went with TPG 5G home internet using Vodafone and the service was very subpar (outage the whole first month) which they didn't tell me about. When I called for very low quality service they told me no ETA for work on local 5G tower. I got rid of them and moved to Internode which also uses the Vodafone 5G network. It was markedly better. I just got an email from Internode customer service that I am only getting 4G reception so they are paying a $30 credit and reducing my monthly cost by $10 a month. I still get good speeds around 95 Mbps it covers our needs. That's what I call customer service! Internode use a superior Nokia 5G modem to TPG as well. Thanks for reading

Landline issues. Should say first up I’m not a computer whizz but has anyone else had issues with being disconnected from land line via Internode?. Over a week ago I had a text message from them saying there had been an outage via the NBN but it had since been rectified, which it had, well sort of, and that I was now back on line. However, I had to make a call to them via my mobile phone and go through the checking routine etc before I was reconnected to internet. My land line connection was still not working and still gets a continuous tone when I try to ring out and anyone who tries to call get a recorded message saying the number is currently unavailable Second phone call I rang internode again via my Internode mobile about the home phone issue but they were puzzled as they said they had checked all the connections and modem etc and everything seemed to be working fine and it was possibly a physical fault with my home phone (I checked and it wasn’t). Weirdly my account now says “Telephone status: Telephone service unavailable. Please check your account settings or register a new number”. Needless to say I have not cancelled my land line account Blogs suggest that it could be a VOIP issue that has to be rectified at the Internode end by technicians? I have been a loyal customer of Internode since it was based and contactable in Adelaide, and would like to remain a customer but I fear it is now dropping the ball. Should anyone from Internode be here my original Internode Ticket number is 28876320. I don't want to get into a slanging match with Internode. Just would like the problem fixed. PS as I post this message my land line is still out of action. Regards BobB

Hi there, I haven't been able to access my email inbox for a few weeks now. I don't know if it's fully merged over to the new Messaging Company, but my inbox won't load, it takes so long that I just get a 504 gateway error timeout message. How can I find out what's going on, if I can't get an email reply from Internode to let me know?!
