Service is very good.
Internode have been extremely reliable the entire time I've been with them. Internet speeds have been consistently as expected. I've only experienced only one internet issue while I've been with internode, which they quickly and easily resolved. Their service has been excellent and would recommend as a solid ISP.
Always a simple and quick process
I recently updated my plan with Internode, I felt anxious before ringing thinking it was going to be a long drawn out process, I'd be on hold for ages and I would get pushed into buying something I didn't want (usual experience with other businesses on the phone). But like my original calls with Internode, I got through quickly, the worker was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and honest. They advised me on what would best suit my needs, not what would make them the most money. I really appreciated that honesty and I felt like they really value...d us as customers. They very quickly sorted my new plan and I was finished within around 4-5minutes. It was amazing how fast and easy it was. I have never had any problems with my internet through Internode and we have now had it for 4 years with no complaints. I will be a loyal customers for years to come. Thanks Internode!
Suits me for the work that I do.
I have never had an issue with the Internet service provided by Internode. We have been with Internode for around 20 years going all the way back to "dial-up". Only time we have had an issue was during the dial-up days and that was a Telstra issue.
Their support/services makes the difference
The point of the NBN is to provide a consistent internet supply that is differentiated by a retailer's pricing and services. In reality, retailers can purchase differing amounts of capacity that alter the reliability of what you get.
About a year ago I switched over from another retailer after experiencing semi-regular dropouts and having to wrestle with their tech support (which was maddening and almost never any help). Since joining Internode, I have found that my service much more closely matches my maximum speed across the day, and I have ...experienced fewer dropouts (not sure of the exact reason, but the service is more reliable). Most importantly though, on the odd occasion that I do need to contact Tech Support, the wait is fairly short and the person on the other end of the line is actually helpful! Examples: Old ISP: Asked me to restart my _computer_ when I called to report that my _modem_ was reporting no incoming signal Internode: Helped me resolve a configuration issue on a router that was not officially supported by them, but similar to a model that was.
Internode lost a really loyal customer, really disappointed.
Internode issued me a refund of $144 which I am thankful for. It's nice to get the money back for the extra speed + compensation, I appreciate the gesture. However it wasn't about the money for me really, I just wanted the service that I paid for and if there was an issue I wanted it fixed quickly. I would have rather of paid full price, got the service I paid for and had no refund. None the less, I am still grateful for the refund.
I have swapped my review from 1 star to 3 (they didn't ask me to do this)
I've been a loyal customer...of Internode for a very long time and was always impressed with their service up until the past few months. I was on the NBN100 plan for a very long time, however AussieBroadBand released the new NBN250 & NBN1000 plans once NBN released them, and Internode didn't offer these currently. For that reason I swapped to AussieBroadband. Once Internode had the NBN1000 plan available, I swapped back to them on May 23rd. Since day one of swapping back, whoever setup my connection in the NBN portal put me on the NBN100 plan despite that I'm paying for the NBN1000 plan. The original agent I spoke with said for 48 hours I would be on the NBN 100 plan after first activating my connection so NBN could run some tests, and then after 48 hours pass I would automatically swap to the NBN1000 plan. That never happened and I was stuck on the NBN100 plan.
10/10 service and communication
Internode has just offered me a cheaper price per month.... what other company would offer that without me asking! LOVE internode. Easy to communicate with and never had a problem. Great service, Great Company!
Wow !!! I’m so impressed. I’ve never heard of internode but seeing all their good reviews.. I decided to give them a try and woah. The customer experience has been seamless. Modem delivered in 3 days. All I did was plug the modem and connect in less than 5 mins !!! Best service and good price!!!
GREAT SERVICE AND SUPPORT
We were with Internode on ADSL, and rolled over to the NBN when it became available, because we were always happy with them. Had some minor issues with the connection when first set up and Customer Service were very helpful and chased the issue up for us and got us up and running really quickly.
Very happy with the Customer Service on the rare occasion we have needed to contact them.
Excellent product in all respects
I can't remember how long I have used Internode as my internet service provider but it would be well over 15 years. Any quieries have been answered, and resolved quickly if necessary. Any service disruptions have been caused by maintainance and upgrading of the NBN network, I can't recall any from a failure of Internode hardware.
I have upgraded my hardware a number of times over the years and the Billion and Fritzbox routers I have purchased from Internode have been very reliable. Similarly the Nodephone service has been very reliable for mobile and home phones.
I recommend Internode unreservedly.
This is almost perfect for its price, except that it is nbn, fibre to the node. Otherwise internode is providing a great product and service. I’ve had next to no problems, good speeds, constant connection, and the once I called, I was looked after quickly and efficiently, thanks folks
It is perfect work with probational technician service

Is this TPG in Internode clothing?
Two weeks, two technician visits, umpteen phone calls to support, what feels like endless waiting for callbacks that never come, and I still have no internet. This is a non-NBN internet service and so they can’t even blame NBN for it.
They say they’re going to call you back, they don’t, almost every time I call, they say they’ll call back, they don’t. On Friday I was told I would receive a callback within 24 hours, it’s Monday, they never called me back, I called again today, they told me they’ll call me back, I honestly just don’t believe the...m anymore. Why do I continually need to wait for a callback when I’m already on the phone? When I have setup internet at other addresses via NBN with a different Aussie provider I have had internet almost immediately. I don’t have another day off work to cater for another technician visit for another week and two weeks have already gone by, I’m not sure how many days or weeks will go by before Internode finally get my internet working but at this point it feels like I am waiting (and paying?) for internet that might never come. I have full line-sync with good stats but NO INTERNET using their supplied junk TP-Link modem which they insist I use and made me pay delivery for even though I already own a very high end Billion VDSL2 modem that supports VLAN tagging. Here is a direct quote from the Internode website:“Our network is vendor-neutral, which means you can use just about any hardware you choose.” But I guess that’s not true either… They also have the audacity to send me an email informing me my internet service is active and that billing has commenced on the 4th of this month, it’s now the 12th, I’m not exactly sure what they’re billing me for because they’re certainly not providing me with any internet. Internode used to be my favourite internet provider and I sang the praises of them wherever I went, but now it feels like they’ve lost their way and from now on I may have a different story to tell. It might be time for me to cut my losses and call another provider outside of the TPG group.
Fast and stable connection.
We have been on the Internode 50Mb/s plan for 2 years and still happy with the speed and service. Good wifi coverage around our unit, unlimited data and download speeds suitable for netflix/streaming services/youtube, mobile wifi, security doorbell, and general computer browsing.
There have been a few occasions where there has been NBN maintenance or some internal modem settings issues, but they are usually resolved quickly or automatically.
Great speed and great tech support
I had a few connection issues early on but the tech support was great at making sure they were rectified, since then the connection has been very reliable and quick. I've phoned support a couple of times (NBN black box got fried and when experiencing some rare dropouts) and they're always very friendly and follow up with me regularly to make sure things got fixed!
Important day to day utility.
As with anything technical, from time to time we'll have a problem with it. Since I have been signed up with Internode, I have had a few issues, but the staff in the area where I have a problem are always patient and helpful in getting my issues solved. They work with me step by step,( which for someone who is computer illiterate, very important) until problems are solved and I'm back online. I could not recommend Internet highly enough.

Are the modems you sell locked to internode?
Hi Pixie, depending on the NBN service type and hardware selected when signing up (https://www.internode.on.net/residential/broadband/nbn/hardware/) the supplied equipment may come pre-configured for use on an Internode connection for authentication of both the service and any included VoIP line. - T
