Shoddy Sales and Customer Service – Totally Unsatisfied. Asked for update 12 days after being notified that my order was processed and expect delivery in 3-5 days, got reply no stock available, no ETA no delivery.

chat service with a A***, he said my payment has not been received and bank transfers take up to 2 days (which is not true). I asked him whether or not the payments are check automatically or manually - he says he doesn't know. Asked him which courier service it's going to get sent by, and he says he won't know until it's shipped out. I ended the online chat and within 15 minutes I received an email confirming that my payment has been received.

Throughout the afternoon the order was processed and shipped out (HOWEVER, there were no more emails, no notifications, no tracking, etc.). Today (Wednesday) I received a call from the delivery guy saying he has the monitor.

I wonder how long this process would've taken if I didn't chase them.

The next day I received an e-mail advising “We have just been informed by the warehouse that the product in your order has been sold out or the product is currently out of stock.” When I rang IT Spot to find out why I was now being told that they didn’t have any stock after I confirmed that stock was available when I placed the order, they gave me the above rote answer, then said that it will take up to a week for them to process the refund. got stolen. i panicked and thought oh no what have i done (i had spent over $900 on their website) a day later it said on their website that the order was processed and was shipped, i thought that that was pretty quick, then 2 days later my parts got arrived in perfect condition! i felt so relieved. And they were really well packaged too. they wrapped up my parts in heaps of bubble wrap making sure that nothing bad happens when in the mail. And they even had added their own foam padding ! No problems at all – I needed 10 windows 7 computers after reading the reviews here i was very scared to buy them. I rang the sales support they said they had 11 in stock. This is my story for a smartphone buy from them, which was in stock in this store.

The overall experience was okay and quick compared to so many negative reviews i am hearing here. It is true they add shipping insurance cost and shipping cost other then the actual product cost which adds up on your final cost of buying , though shipping is without a tracking number. However the order was quick to me not sure if it was by my follow up or naturally they delivered on time.

Thieves and deceivers! – It seems that this is the same company as TECH4U.COM.AU. They just changed the name, because the credibility of the previous fell. And this company will steal your money. They sent me a defective and very old and heavily used device and when I asked for a refund , they just ignored me! Be careful and do not believe them! They are scammers!

The answer is always the same flavour. "I have set up the refund" "waiting back from management" etc. Mind you at least they did return my emails!! Give this company a definite miss. When politely I called them to confirm that this information was incorrect, they were extremely rude and did not acknowledge their mistake, nor could they confirm a full refund, and when I defended my situation, I wad repeatedly hung up on! Apart from the ridiculous freight cost I can see a lot of issues trying to build a computer if the parts are scattered all over the planet..

Awful Service They do not care about the customer – Still waiting over 2 months for a refund after returning a UPS. They will not speak to you over the phone and keep directing you to email them - they take forever to respond and then still dont refund my money. I asked to speak to a manager or owner of the business but the receptionist but was told that no-one takes phone calls. I would never use them or recommend them to anyone.

critism, I had asked on the order if I could be advised when the payment was received, however on the Monday I telephoned and spoke with a polite customer service staff member called Adam. He politely affirmed that payment had been received. After that everything was plain sailing receiving the correct goods within 2 days.

I say do not believe everything you read there are always mitigating circumstances to all circumstances.

Extremely Happy – I purchased a laptop on Friday 30/9 and received it on Wednesday 5/10, this period of time included a weekend and a public holiday. You can't get better than that.

No problems here. Exceeded Expectations – Having read quite a number of negative reviews about this online store I was a little hesitant to use them, but the competitive pricing couldn't be ignored. The ordering process was easy and my item arrived in less within 36 hours. I was a little put out by having to pay a 2.5% premium for paying with PayPal, but despite this the item was still cheaper than elsewhere. I have no complaints at all and would buy from ITSpot again.

Worse customer service. Delivery rip-off – Paid express delivery extremely that I considered extremely expensive for a small factor item (AU$50+). I decided to wait for delivery at address specified to find out that Australian Post didn't bother to knock the door (I was expecting DHL/DHCL/StarTrack services for the amount paid). Contacted ITSpot customer service and they didn't care, "sorry, you have to wait for another attempt next". Won't buy from them again!!!

$74.... Seems a hell of a lot of money for something that isn't much bigger than a book.

Next was half hidden pre-ticked box at the bottom of the screen - 'insurance'. Another 2%. So I unticked that box.

Then delivery methods come up.... At that point in the process, it is revealed that both Paypal and Credit Card payment options attract a 2.5% 'handling fee'. So another $40. I chose to go with direct deposit as there was no way I was paying $40 just to use Paypal or a credit card.

Payment goes through, a couple of minutes later I transfer the money from my bank account. I also happen to use the same bank btw, so in theory the transaction shouldn't take too long. I sent them an email advising of the transfer confirmation number. No reply.

Order status changes to 'awaiting payment'

2 days later order status hasn't changed. I give them a call and confirm that they have received the payment. The guy says another email should come out today advising of a status change. I ask whether the order will be sent today, he reluctantly says yes. Later that day, the status changes to 'processing' order received'. Then a few hours later 'info waiting internal'.... Whatever that all means...

Weekend goes by. Monday - order status shows 'processed'. Email received advising mail can take up to 3 working days....

Tomorrow will be a week since I placed my order. And still nothing to indicate that my laptop has even been dispatched. If it was free delivery I would probably accept it, but I've paid $74 postage.... Terrible service.

Please do not waste your time or money with them – Absolutely pathetic. I know it is the new age and all that but really we can't give you our address the rude voice on the phone says. I called on Thursday and the phone system said they were closed for a local holiday (no holidays in Qld on that Thursday)...I emailed and finally received a tracking number. Unfortunately it said that the cases had already been delivered...to someone in another state!

I replied and asked them to cancel as I needed the cases immediately. I received no reply so I sourced the cases locally...an hour later, they sent me a notification that the cases had now been shipped.

This is not a very professional company, and the lower prices are more expensive if you add in the shipping and delay costs.

Addendum...I have upgraded them a star because the manager found the error and has issued a refund.

While the problem and response to my phone calls were bad, at least they fixed it...

I asked to speak to manager as I was not satisfied, but this ITSPOT person said that no managers were available. I asked for the managers phone number, he said he can not provide these details. I said I just purchased a product off you and this was poor treatment of a good customer. He said he would transfer me to manager after I insisted. Got a "manager" who sounded suspiciously like the first person. Got exactly the same unhelpful treatment from "manager" as I did the first person that answered. I am now suspicious this is a one man band or small operation with little stock - possibly they just order direct from manufacturer / supplier to themselves (after customer orders their item) and then send to customer?

ITSPOT lost me as a customer

- pay a little extra and ensure any on-line business actually has a Head Office address (a physical place of business [although not necessarily a shopfront])

No issues, fast delivery – After placing my order I was puzzled by the verification process that followed as this is a bit of an annoyance for the customer. I have to say though that I received good communication throughout and my item was delivered in 3 business days as promised. All in all I'm happy, fast delivery & a low cost (brand new) item. (The packaging slip says the sender is 'Dropship Central' not IT Spot).

Great price, quick delivery – I was very happy with ITspots service. I placed my order Sunday evening and received it on Tuesday morning. Items were packed well and received without issue.

AVOID!! – AVOID people! The most pathetic company I have ever come across. In fact, these people should be sued for their dishonesty, arrogance, and unethical practices. They took my money and even five days later, still no delivery.

Poor Customer Service – Tried to contact customer service through the live chat applet no response in office hours. Sat in a queue of 1 for an hour. Then sent an email see where my order was and still waiting to get a response. Did get the goods but I would be hesitant to order through them again. Not the fastest out there, but the price was the cheapest. I guess I got what I paid for.

You might get your "in stock" product or go for a merry walk up the garden path for several weeks. 2 out of 4 orders have been a failure. Avoid Just a mass drop shipping engine, nothing more.
