Got parts and advice on fixing window lock – Had a problem with a ten year old sliding window lock. The DIY section of the web page is very helpful as are the staff at the Welshpool location. Parts were in stock. I wish all companies I deal with were this good. Show reply

Not very diy friendly – I have rang Jason windows on so man occasions that I feel I’m becoming a pest. Alls I’m trying to do is fit the glass panel and the glass sliding door to the frame but all the videos they have sent to me have not shown me how to do it. I have put the sliding door in but now having problems getting the glass back in, I’m miss something. Jason windows are a great product and I used them when I built this house in 1989 Anvers had a problem . Show reply

Replacing window parts – Had an great experience with the Jason Window team - I placed an online order and received the part within days. Communication was great, working out which part I needed was so easy as Jason Windows had the foresight to put the years the part was used. Would definitely use Jason Windows again in a flash. Happy customer which received fabulous customer service - something that is rare in today's market. Show reply

Broken handle – Rang to purchase spare parts, and was pleasantly surprised to find out it was still covered by warranty. I wasn't expecting the labour to be covered at this stage, turns out it is. They even gave me a window of 2 hours that I need to be home. Problem sorted within 5 minutes of making the call. Pleasantly surprised as to how easy it was. Door permanently locked shut after 2nd replacement – Our door sliding door was permanently locked open, I paid $900 for a sliding door company to fix it with the same lock…. Another 4 years later it has broken again but this time permanently locked shut. I’d never be able to find the receipt. But asking advice about this door I was told that Jason Windows has been aware of this Nib breaking problem for decades. Looks like I’ll be paying another $900+ for a repair…. Lock spindle in door very poor – Our sliding doors have had the lock replaced a couple of times since they were installed 5 years ago. Once by Jason and once a very difficult and tedious self replacement. Luckily we have security screens as our sliding doors has not been lockable for well over 8 months. Never had problems with any sliding doors in previous houses that we have lived in.

Constant problems – We have had constant problems from installation being untidy and unfinished, incorrect products delivered, fly screens falling out, window locks not working and door locks not working. 18 months later we are still needing them to come out to fix up things.

Low quality door handles – Last year one of my door handles or broken and then after few months another one. Doors were rarely used due to which it might have taken time to break. After search on internet I found that the old door handles were of poor quality and Jason would replace the door handles if it was broken beyond the 2 year warranty but unfortunately I was not… Read more

aware about this. I came to know from a friend few days ago that there door handles had same issue and it was fixed. So I called Jason customer service but they declined to fix saying that it is out of warranty and I will have to buy. My only fault is I was not aware about this issue otherwise I would have contacted them soon when it broke.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! – I paid for a sliding door and was told delivery would be approx 2 weeks. Problem after problem – Our Plunkett home with Jason's windows and doors was completed Oct 2018. We had Jason's out a month later to fix the flyscreens (they didn't fit). And then two months after than (window slider problems), and then a month after that (front door locking mechanism), and then six months after that (window sliders not coping with weight of window - I… Read more

suggested they double the number of slider wheels, which they did and the problem is now solved), and then another six months after that (window locks not disengaging), then everything seemed to be okay... Then the front door bottom locking bolt fell out (so we couldn't lock the front door or even close it - luckily duct tape fixes everything huh!). Then that happened again six months later. Now the doors are falling apart as the entire locking mechanism for all three sliding doors need to be replaced - Which means the doors need to be disassembled as they are closed units.

The staff are wonderful, they listen to our concerns, are helpful. Their repair team are courteous, they explain how I can repair things myself and are patient - they are great people to talk to.

But overall, I feel that they're just waiting until everything is outside of their service agreement and then we'll pay! (They weren't clear if the three doors I just contacted them about were under warranty, so we'll see if a bill turns up...)

Product if of very Poor quality – I bought a 1 year old house, we have been in it for 6 years now. The doors are very flimsy and just not well built. The mesh on the windows are so bad my 1 year old can poke a hole in them. The sliding mesh didn't even work from day one, we folded it and put it away. Now the door handle just broke. Very disappointed.

Smooth sailing – I can't speak for the product, I've owned my home for 4 years and have had to repair and now replace parts( the house is 12 yrs old) but as far as service goes, from initial booking to repair it has been smooth sailing, the office girls and technicians are helpful, pleasant and efficient. Brilliant Service Could not fault – Polite - efficient - on time - explanatory - couldn't have been better service - doors once again all secure. Staff all fantastic & cleaned up after finalising job. Was advised fault was a due to a modification that was required. Booked for the Monday to be done - kept in touch entire time - technian arrived in time- did all doors- even though only one broken - in and out within the hour. Very bad products – It’s been a constant battle with Jason windows & doors from the first day my property’s were built, door locks breaking & windows leaking & rattling & to fix they charge me a $90 call out fee for there faulty products that need ongoing repairs.

Very happy customer – Our sliding security door came of the rails not long after moving into our newly built home. Organised for a technician to come out and repair it and could not fault his service. He called 20 mins before arrival to let us know he was coming, his service was faultless, explaining what had gone wrong (It just hadn't been set up properly). He explained what he did to repair the job and was gone in no time. Would definitely recommend.  Show reply

Very disappointed with the Jason products – The service team are great, but they have try to compensate for the inferior handles & locking mechanisms used by Jason on the doors & windows. I made an assumption that the Jason brand was the best product, but it’s not.

Pleasant attitudes – I popped into the parts department for a couple of bits for my patio door, mentioned that I was having trouble with my bedroom windows not closing fully and next minute had a visit by their Technician booked in thanks to the service manager and lady in the parts Department. The tech was on time as booked , very helpful on the repairs. Best of all was pleasant attitude of all concerned Thank You Show reply
