Parramatta Westfield store employees are rude
I encountered rude staff at Jay Jays Westfield Parramatta. When I was about to place a playsuit back on the hangar, he snatched it out of my hand. Then, when I got to the cashier, the woman behind the counter acted in a belligerent manner when I asked her about a deal. Would not purchase again. Rather hurt and disappointed.
Really good shop, has a nice range of clothing.
Jayjays is a really nice shop. They have quite a large range of clothing that is really nice and affordable, and the staff are always really nice and helpful if you ever can't find what your looking for they are always happy to help you out. I highly recommend Jayjays to anyone looking for nice affordable clothes for everyday wear.
Wow! Great store

Decent essential clothing
I havent really purchased many items from jay jays but the stuff I recently brought was good quality, sizes were a bit larger then other stores I usually buy from but still fit, shipping is quiet average but could just be because they have sales on at the moment.
Avoid - Sizes don't run true to measurements
Ok were to start....I like Jays Jays but recently noticed if you buy clothes based on their measurement and sizing guide via their website, be ready to return them at your $$$ cost. They will gladly change the items, as some products arrive but they forget to mention it's a cropped t-shirt not a proper whole t-shirt. I've returned a few purchases because they are bigger then the measurements stated on the website. Order a size smaller then what your normally wear, last return to get a smaller size cost me $20+ not worth it to be honest. Maybe t...ry going to the physical store if you have time and try on clothes to see what sizes to order in future if buying Online. Shopping here is hit and miss most times but sometimes they have great sales to good to miss out on
I bought a red Tshirt and the next day I went to iron it it had turned white. I had brought it to the shop and it did not let me return it.

AMAZING customer service
Alandra at Jay Jays Stockland Townsville gave the most amazing customer service I have received in a very long time. I myself work in retail and have found good customer service can be hard to come by. She went above and beyond to help with every request and question I threw at her. She was an absolute delight.
Don’t buy jeans online
So I’ve had a pair of the blue, 3 button high rise jeans for like a year now and they are amazing so I bought the exact same style as them but in black and light blue. When I received them they were both different material not the stretchy comfy style. All 3 pairs were size 10 but I literally couldn’t even put the new light blue pair on coz it was to small so I had to send it back cost me $20 in postage. Not happy with the 2 new pairs I bought I wish I sent them both back for a refund. Don’t buy online go to the shop if you don’t want this hassle.

Love this store
when instore staff are so pleasant. I placed my order online and it was dispatched and delivered so quickly I couldn’t be happier. Prices are great & the quality is fantastic.
I ordered 01/05 and received it by 03/05
The shirts and pants there are amazing but alot of the shirts and other clothing can be quite expensive but some workers are extremely nice and there is amazing sales sometimes going on but i think they should change like some of the $30 to $40 denim pants to a more reasonable price
Went to the Marion store to buy a tshirt. Female staff tried to upsell the following: Caps, drink bottles, socks and a $49 towel. Also insisted I go on Mailing list (to which I cannot unsubscribe from for some reason). Had to say no to 4 pushes for further sales. Won't go back
Great staff inviting store love the cloths but it would be good if the sizing went up to a 18 or xxl for the ladies that have a bit more of a curve I like how they have dropped the sizing to a 4 for the younger smaller teens but would love if they could accomodate for the woman with a bigger bust
Campbelltown Mall Jay Jays
I went to the campbelltown mall store on the 16th July 2018. It was a good experience and the 2 girls there were really helpful. It was worth going in - so yes i would recommend this store on great customer service. But i am always on a lookout for good non judgemental customer service.
Lost money on store card and ripped off buy 1 get 1 half price Batemans Bay
My 13 year old granddaughter had a 25 dollar gift card, she scratched the card in front of the assistant store manager. She was told she didnt have enough on the 25 dollar card for a 19 dollar item. How is it possible to be told she had used the card in December when she just scratched it yesterday, noone can explain.
At the same time the day before another granddaughter and I purchased 40 dollar items each, I retried mine on when I got home and decided to go 1 size up for comfort. After returning the 40 dollar item, I was also hit up for 1...0 dollars, which I am still trying to figure out. My granddaughter paid 20 for her jumper I paid 40 for my pants, they returned the pants and swapped for the next size up, and I had to pay an extra 10 dollars costing me 50 bucks for a 40 dollar pair of pants. Never again, I am actually taking this up with the ACCC because this is theft on both issues. Shonky, very very shonky.

Questions & Answers
What happened to most jay jay stores? when I used to shop in the carlingford court that branch closed down after that when I moved back down to the wollongong region I noticed the corrimal one closed down / I went to wollongong crown central and it was still there after the the renovations though I am not sure if it's still there
I think it's a variety of things cheaper clothing in stores like K Mart the controversy surrounding the cancer causing dye that was allegedly found to be in there clothing and was in my case very bad customer service. Hope this is of some help
Oh ok / perhaps it could be that them jay jays branches could have been underperforming and might not have been making enough profits so management had to close the stores down or they could have simply moved somewhere else
Some still exist.I can't speak on behalf on the whole of Australia but I am only a newcomer in using their stores. It's great value for money stuff.I am from South Australia and we don't have Uniqlo as such here so Jay Jays makes for a good compromise.By the time one adds in Flying to Melbourne getting to town and back to the airport the clothes shopping for the day plus lunch in the case of buying from the Japanese Store Chain You are better off buying locally at your nearest mall at Tea Tree Plaza or Marion and sometimes you are getting more for roughly the same amount of money without the hassles of all the things I have mentioned earlier. Also did I forget to say even though the products are imported from Cheaper Asian Nations these days You are actually given it's parent company operates in Australia,NZ and Parts of South East Asia You are helping one of your fellow workers in employment.
