Paid a $120 deposit after being told it was for job security. The technician arrived without the correct windscreen and could not complete the job. When I requested a refund, he claimed the deposit was a call-out fee, which was never mentioned before payment. No service was provided, yet my deposit was kept. Very disappointing experience.
Do Not use this company, unless you want to pay a deposit and lose it! We asked for a price match, a refund just 20 minutes after making the booking and paying a $220 deposit to be told to no to neither. Hasnt been answering phone calls, messages or emails. I needed a back window replaced in a hurry and Daniel was able to do the job for me . Daniel did an amazing job as I had only just bought the car 1 week before this had happened. A stone went through the back window while mowing the grass and shattered the whole back window in my new triton . I highly recommend Daniel .

Installed damaged windscreen, repairs failed – Apparently all rubbers on screens are damaged and I should expect them all to be like this. With the amount of Kms I travel each day, on average I have a broken windscreen almost annually, I have never had this issue in the past. installation had a damaged rubber seal which had to be removed, instead of a replacement windscreen the damaged seal was removed and replaced with there own. Now that seal has come apart and now leaking air and moisture into my $100,000 vehicle. Heavy rain has again started, how much more damage is going to be done to my vehicle? Apparently JD glass don't have any screens that aren't damaged like the first, frustrated and angry is an understatement. Needs to be removed a 4th time. Asked for refund, offered $400. Get stuffed.
Stay away – Windscreen fitted by [name removed] leaked in 2 different spots with water dripping straight into the cabin. Roof lining now marked in 2 places. He also did not fit the correct acoustic screen for my diesel car. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS LIER !!! So I called this clown, [Name Removed] , to replace my windscreen . He told me to meet him in a public car park, ( first red flag) , no proper premises at all, and then takes my windscreen out , and leaves me waiting there almost 4 hours,(second red flag) with no windscreen ,in an open public car park , no cover at all , next to a park ,and clouds of rain coming . I Called him , messaged him , no response at all until I said I’m leaving without any windscreen . Yeah , I was that upset , waiting and waiting and waiting !!! He made every excuse under the sun , as to why it took almost 4 hours to get my new windscreen !!!! Then he finally installs it and sticks yellow sticky tape all around my windscreen and says leave it on for a few hours !! So if an elderly lady gets her windscreen done with these clowns ,how are you supposed to take the tape off ??? And stop making excuses that your competitors are making these bad reviews. Great Service – Daniel was professional and communicated really well. My wagon ended up having rust around the window and Daniel worked in the dark to get it sorted and replaced my windscreen. Daniel even fitted my new windscreen wipers I purchased. This is not a paid review. I would recommend this company and will do to all of my friends and family.

Daniel from JD Windscreens Sunshine Coast was courteous professional and had the job done in a timely manner and cleaned up afterwards. Fair warning! I had a windscreen replaced on our Subaru Liberty. Once it was replaced, we instantly lost the function of our auto windscreen wipers and auto lights. Contacted JD Windscreens who came back to assess and was told everything was completed correctly. I took it to Subaru for an assessment - the report stated the rain sensor was… Read more
installed on a dirty part of the new windscreen and the sensor needs to be replaced, and the lights needed to be re-calibrated. Headlight re-calibration will cost $165 and the rain sensor will cost $444. Contacted JD Windscreens and sent Subaru report, was told he was overseas for another 4 weeks but could come back to reinstall the rain sensor and re-calibrate the lights but could not get hold of them since. Have sent multiple (very calm) emails asking for an explanation with no response. Was also told they changed ownership and they gave me the personal number of the person who did the job because he no longer works there. Not very professional. Not worth the legal fees to pursue and they know it - I wish I read the reviews first!

My experience of this windscreen company is low when I am pensioner – Warning warning ⚠️ Do not deal with despicable company They make a booking and never contacted me with a time . Then they charge me a 95 dollars fee .
Do not use them as they shonky . I found a better windscreen company which is a delightful company and my bmw 318ti looks wonderful
DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS – This company lied to me when I was quoted (with proof of text) for fixing my window and windscreen but turned up only with the window and refused on doing both for our agreed price.

Great service, quality workmanship at a reasonable price – My car failed the pink slip inspection due to the bubbled solar film on the rear windscreen. Due to their reasonable quote, it was worth my while to replace the windscreen as opposed to having the film removed and repairing any damage. Chip Repair – Posted a job on oneflare and received a call within 5 minutes and arranged for the chip repair to be fixed the following morning. The price was very reasonable and they even met me out and about. Took about half hour and can barely notice where the chip repair is. Show reply

vibration when driving. We have a commercial vacuum so he uses that to clean up and intended to dispose of the window himself. However I was happy to put it in our bin. It was so convenient to have it replaced in our carport rather than drive with it smashed as it was. It will now be easy to drive to the supplier for the special ceramic tint replacement and they can do it in 30 mins Happy to recommend you anytime.
